Charming 2-room apartment overlooking the old port of La Rochelle.
Our 40m2 crossing is located on the 2nd floor of a listed historic building on the Gabut wharf. The area is famous for its colorful fishermen's houses.
The apartment will seduce you with its location and its benefits. It is equipped to nine, with all the comfort (dish washer, washing machine, internet, DVD player, numerous tidying up ...)
In addition, the common areas have been redone recently.

This apartment enjoys a breathtaking view of the old port of La Rochelle, the lighthouse of Quai Valin and St Nicolas tower. The windows of the kitchen and the living room give immediately on the sailboats: change of scenery assured!

Its situation will allow you to:
-visit the aquarium (2 minutes walk)
-visit the famous "Saint Nicolas" (at the end of the street), the "Chaîne" and the "Lanterne" towers (10 minutes away)
-Take a boat for an excursion on an island: Aix, Oléron, Ile de Ré or go around Fort Boyard
you go to the beach of the Competition (10 minutes on foot) or take a boat bus to reach the beach of Minimes (10 minutes)
- Ride a bike (rental in the street), or borrow vélib (2 steps)
walk on the seafront or in the greenery in the Park Charruyer (menagerie free and open access)
- enjoy the beautiful city center, its arcades, its gargoyles, its market open every day, its shops (the galleries lafayettes ...)

Très bel appartement fonctionnel décoré avec goût. La literie est confortable et il y a tout ce qu'il faut dans la cuisine. Idéalement placé avec vue sur le port. Malgré l'animation, il n'y a pas de nuisances sonores. Tout est calme à 23h. Les très nombreux restaurants sont partout autour du port y compris en bas de l'immeuble. Supérette à deux minutes. Gare à 5 minutes à pied. Location de vélos, bus nombreux. Idéal quand on vient en train. A recommander

L'emplacement est bien car tout est à proximité mais pour stationner c'est la galère surtout pour charger ou décharger les bagages!!! Nous avons été obligé de tout faire à pied 😕 donc entre les bagages, les enfants, la foule et pas d'ascenseur......., pas très cool. Après l'appartement est correct et fonctionnel. La dame qui nous a reçu est très gentille mais n'est pas le propriétaire.

Bien entendu, la situation de l'appartement n'implique pas une ambiance très paisible le soir ... Le matin, c'est calme. L'appartement est très bien équipé, et parfaitement situé. Le séjour dans l'appartement à la Rochelle était trés agréable. La correspondence avec le proprietaire avant et durant le séjour était fiable, l'acceuil sur place chaleureux. L'appartement est parfaitement situé proche du centre et de la gare. La vue de la fênetre sur le port est magnifique, même si cela signifie, qu'il y ait du bruit les nuits (mais c'est bien entendu; il y a un tas de touristes partout à la Rochelle). Mais puisque la chambre à coucher se trouve de l'autre côté, on a très bien dormi. En arrivant l'état de propreté de l'appartement était admissible; l'amenagement en général est très satisfaisante. Bref, une experience à refaire!
