Le Séjour de Printemps Idéal à La Rochelle

This lovely apartment was the ideal base of operations for my two-month stay in La Rochelle. Proximate to all the local attractions and necessities, I was grateful for the ability to relax in the beautiful salon and shared garden at the end of my pleasant days spent in the Old Port, the central market, and neighboring islands. The kitchen was well-equipped, the bathroom was adequate to my needs, and I never wanted for a car given the apartment’s perfect location. The check-in/out process was a breeze and I look forward to my next visit!

Lovely La Rochelle

Wonderful apartment, very central and peaceful. Everything available what’s needed for shorter or also longer stay. Many interesting activities in the city or make a short drive to those 2 wonderful islands nearby La Rochelle. Definitely recommend!! Thank you for a good host!

Cosy apartment in La Rochelle

The apartment is near the old town. 10 minutes by foot. It’s calm but sometimes you can hear the noise from the apartment above. Nothing too intense but it can be annoying. Be aware that there is no dryer only a washer. If you need it, there is a laundry 2 minutes walk. Overall, this is a typical French apartment, where you can spend a good time.

Fabulous thanks apartment, difficult to park

The property is beautiful, very clean and well equipped. France, the property manager was very helpful and communication with her was excellent. The property is ideally situated and convenient for bars and restaurants. However, we had to queue for 30 minutes to be able to park. The nearest car park was full and only had a maximum of two hours anyway. As guests who are in their 70s, we found it extremely difficult to carry our luggage 400 metres from available parking and had to make two journeys. The car park tarrif showed up to 4 hours and we were worried that we had parked illegally. Thankfully, that was not the case and we paid 48 euros for 5 days. France did suggest an underground car park but this was even further away and we wouldn't have been able to carry our luggage. If it wasn't for the parking situation we would, most definitely, return.

L'appartement est idéalement situé pour visiter la Rochelle et ses environs. Très propre et joliment décoré ! Deux petits points à connaitre : les draps et linges de maison sont en option, c'est dommage et les chambres ne sont pas fermées donc attention au bruit et à la lumière.

This is my second stay at this apartment - it is perfect for one or a couple. The salon is incredible - the kitchen so wonderfully full of all needs. Very easy to access and enjoy. Quiet inner courtyard full of morning light. Gorgeous. I will return! *one concern is the person who manages the place and the bed linen. All linen and towels etc is extra (not included in price). She did not provide duvet cover and the duvet had blood stains which she said she was aware of. I asked for duvet cover and she said she was away and unable to provide. There was just a sheet. Was unpleasant. When leaving I explained that this is not acceptable and this offered less money for the linen and she became very rude. Too bad to end like this - still I loved it very much and will come back (with my own linen!).

Wonderful stay! Will go again, without a doubt. The location is priceless. The appartement is quite big. The kitchen has everything you need and beyond. There is a parking around the corner which makes it very convenient. I highly recommend this place. The host is very nice. Just a nice and quiet place to stay in La Rochelle.
