About this property
Spacious Studio - Casa Tres Lunas #1
Right in the heart of 5 de Diciembre, Casa 3 Lunas is a Puerto Vallarta style home. Behind its gates it hides a large green patio with fruit trees for all the guests to enjoy. Here you will often be joined by my two dogs, Oli and Tina, and occasionally even Richard( my white and orange cat) and Little Kitty. My house is walking distance to beach, municipal sport center and right across from the fish market. There is also easy access to buses that go all over Vallarta.
This is a full studio with kitchen, part of a house with a shared patio where you are always welcome.
(As a high school English teacher I work full time during the week but I m accessible by text while I m away). I am no longer teaching so I am usually home and my door is always open to answer questions or provide guidance. I have decided to dedicate myself to painting rather than teaching it. We thoroughly enjoyed a 5 week stay in this very large and comfortable studio. Rosana is such a lovely, attentive and knowledgeable host, always there if we needed something. Authentic Mexican neighbourhood, feels very safe, people are friendly, great restaurants and very walkable to ocean. Excellent market close by.
helpful owner, nice central location but a little sketchy at night. Comfortable well appointed large studio. Great for 1 or 2 people. The sleeper sofa is best for children. Friendly pets on site. Lovely garden space with fruit trees.
I enjoyed my stay in this friendly, lively, authentic Mexican neighborhood. Rosanna was very easy to work with. The apartment was clean, quiet and as advertised. The bed is very comfortable. There is a wonderful outdoor market a 2-minute walk away.
The location is perfect for a local flavor of the neighborhood with a close walk to the beach and town. The host was available for questions and gave great recommendations for dining. I would definitely revisit the casa for my next trip to PV. It’s a very different experience from a resort or condo with a pool and amenities so make sure you know what your intention is before booking long term.
Fresh starfruit, friendly dogs, and a sunny patio created a warm and friendly stay. Our host was always available and very responsive. The property is in a PV neighborhood within a short walk to the fish and vegetable market with many resturants, bars, buses and taxis nearby and a 6 block walk to the beach. We felt comfortable, safe and secure.
Adorable property, with nice outside patio. Host was very friendly, communicative, and helpful. Nice authentic Mexican property close to beach and great restaurants.
I loved it, it was perfect place to spend time alone with my partner. Owner was very nice and she made everything just perfect for me. I will definitely stay there next time I go
A short walk from the beach but a world away from the resorts. We loved the experience of being in town. The property was secure and provided a great place to relax when we felt like taking it easy. There is a great cafe next door, La Petite Maison, a wonderful way to begin your day. Overall a great place to stay.
Rosana was absolutely wonderful! She is very nice and very helpful. This property is a less than 10 minute walk from the beach and from several different restaurants. Honestly it was a better experience than what I could’ve hoped for. I would definitely stay here again as the place was even better than in the pictures. I would recommend to anybody looking to have a local feel while visiting.

About the host

I have finally decided to dedicate myself to my art and paint. It’s a big change of lifestyle but I’m determined to make it work.
Why they chose this property
I love my neighborhood, even if it’s a bit noisy at times. There is so much going on a few steps from the gate, and I rarely need the car. A walk to the malecón, the beach, the mountains or the open market are easy to do.
What makes this property unique
My property is full of trees, most of them are fruit trees. I started by planting a few and I’m slowly growing a forest. In the middle of the concrete streets and city life my garden feels like an oasis. My two dogs and two cats enjoy watching birds come in and out, and butterflies too!
