Fresh & clean home in true Mid-Century Modern building w/exposed block walls, concrete floors, industrial style skylights, steel & iron fencing, custom post-modern gates all softened w/earth friendlier xeriscape, extensive LED lighting, synthetic grass & much original art. CONDO COMPLETELY REMODELED DEC 2018 and freshened regularly since. We feature Beautyrest Hospitality mattresses, new bedding/towels/rugs/appliances etc... Walk to 30 eateries & bars on Restaurant Row & beyond. Complimentary coffee, tea & sometimes a treat!

The Claremont #1 enjoys two bedrooms (a King bed in one and a Queen in the other) and one full bath. The kitchen is fully appointed with cookware, dishes, glasses, eating utensils, cooking utensils, corkscrew and more. We have an onsite coin operated laundry facility for your shared use with other residents. And you have shared use (with one other residence) of a courtyard with barbecue grill and patio.

The property sits in a residential area just nine doors down from the northern edge of Restaurant Row on 7th Street. This section of 7th Street just recently, over the last five years or so, has enjoyed an explosion of new trendy and not so trendy restaurants and bars all walking distance or a very short Uber ride from The Claremont. Phoenix is not known for being a vertical city but rather sprawled out making our area, with so many restaurants in such a small area, rather unique.

We have been hosting since December 2018 via other short term rental platforms and enjoy a 4.9 out of 5 star rating and over 70 positive reviews. We'd like to maintain the positive guest experiences so we really strive to anticipate our guests needs and give them a great stay. We hope you will allow us to do the same for you!

This home was very well kept and very clean and had all of the necessities. Great location and plenty of stores. restaurants, etc.. nearby. Will definitely come back. A lot of good communication from owner. Not for any issues, for information.

due to the fact that the owner leaves the key on the counter and leaves the door unsecure, as well as the lock gates. There were people occupying my unit. I had a birthday party to attend to and prepare for, so I had to leave after waiting for the individual to return to the door. I wound up having to leave was never able to stay. Contacted by the owner after I had already arranged transportation back to my home. The area in Phoenix is not the greatest, so to have the unit unlocked, and after having individuals in the unit, when I arrived, the owner did not satisfy or refund, instead turned extremely rude. He expects me to have to pay for that. Think twice when entering an unlocked unit

Lovely condo

We spent two weeks at this property. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The condo and enclosed yard are lovely. Well equipped. Will responded quickly to questions. We would definitely stay here again.

Concert Stay

Lovely Stay

This is a nice location in a quiet neighborhood. It is a thoughtfully decorated, sparkling clean, with very comfortable bed and upscale linens. Thete is a charming courtyard with a grassy area Adirondack chairs and a fire ring right outside the front door. Good communication with the owner, Will, before and during our stay. Near lots of interesting dining optipns and breweries. We truley enjoyed our stay for baseball Spring Training. .

Cool mid-century modern

Our host was wonderful! He made our stay perfect. I highly recommend this property. We especially loved the yard and the two beautiful trees that provided shade. It is centrally located to many places. Our son is at GCU and we were only 10 minutes away. We will be back.

Phoenix winter stay

The apartment was very clean and quiet. It is obvious that Will (the owner) put great care into furnishing and setting up the apartment. The quality and amenities were first rate. The location was excellent for exploring the Valley (in the middle-not too far east or west). Will lives next door so he is very responsive. I would definitely stay here in the future.

Stylish and Functional

We loved staying at this property. The space was well-designed with stylish decor that was also functional and comfortable. Small touches like adequate hangers, an open kitchen floor plan and comfortable bedding took our experience to the next level. The host was a great communicator, while still allowing for full privacy. The neighborhood was quiet with several restaurants and other amenities within walking distance. There is a covered parking spot, and street parking is also available. I would 10/10 stay there again.

Great One Week Stay in Phoenix

Excellent apartment for us. Very clean. Plenty of room for 2-4. Well equipped kitchen. Pleasant outside yard with grill. Both bedrooms had good mattresses for solid sleeping. Many restaurants in area (but we cook our own), Costco nearby. Easy parking spot, Good location a few miles north of center city. Easy communications with owner. We hiked South Mountain, North Mountain, White Tank Mountains, Lost Dutchman State Park, Sedona area, went to spring training Cactus League game in Surprise, Heard Museum downtown and Western Spirit museum in Scottsdale excellent. Worked well for us on our first trip to this area of southwest.

Met my son in Phoenix to visit extended with family

After viewing a dozen and a half rentals, the two things that stood out in the reviews for The Claremont Guest House was comfortable beds. Which proved an understatement with regards to the total experience. The apartment is well cared for and clean. In fact both my son’s and my allergies lessened after our first nights stay. The space’s decor and furnishings are contemporary yet felt comfortable and livable. I took a very fetching photo of my mother sitting on the living room’s couch, after meeting her and a sister for lunch, when we finished our afternoon relaxing in the flat and the outside patio. The kitchen is well appointed and has the basics a cook requires. The location afforded us easy drives to visit the Musical Instrument Museum, First Friday at the Phoenix Art Museum, hiking the Phoenix Mountain Preserve, and visiting family in the nearby Arcadia neighborhood. The house is situated away from through traffic and feel serene. Our stay was quiet and sleep was undisturbed. Our host, Will, greeted us upon our tardy arrival, after reaching out via the VRBO app to ask after our welfare. We had a nice little “get to know you”, and he expressed his wish, as a host, to be available, yet not intrusive. I visit Phoenix at least once a year, and will check the Claremont’s calendar before making any future travel plans. Thanks, Will! Your guest house provided refuge, retreat, and comfort after a marathon of family meet ups, dinners, and get togethers.

I'm a well traveled Phoenix native who has been in the long term hosting business for over thirty years but just recently entered the short term segment of the business. Over the last twenty years I have been slowly but consistently transforming this 1960 Mid-Century jewel into, may I say, a truly remarkable property. Yes, I have many more improvements ahead which will take time to achieve. Most recently I have updated the heating and cooling system to modern, earth friendlier models, installed natural gas and am currently fighting the local utility company so that we can install a solar powering system that should replace almost all, if not all, of the carbon based electricity usage here. Not easy to accomplish but certainly a work of passion. My "real job(s)"? I own a residential real estate business and I'm a father to a magnificent seven year old boy!!!
