Summary:

Cozy 1BR located 1/2 block from the heart of Crested Butte!



The Space:

This is a beautifully renovated 1 bedroom cabin on the alley between Elk and Sopris Ave located directly behind The Hideout and Montanya's Distillery.  It's a 1/2 block to the heart of Elk Ave which allows you to walk just about anywhere in town.  Its also just 1/2 a block from the free shuttle bus that runs up to the ski resort every 15 minutes. 



The single story alley house has a queen bed in the bedroom and a full shower/bath combo in the bathroom.   The living area is open with vaulted ceilings, a dining nook and a fully equipped kitchen.  For ambiance and extra warmth, enjoy the gas fireplace after a long day on the slopes.  The stairs shown in the pictures are to a storage area, not a loft. A small patio area is available in the shared back yard.



"Alley living" can be fun with some local CB color.  It can also have a bit of noise associated with it as the delivery trucks do use this alley to deliver to the local businesses.  Its not uncommon to hear people leaving these businesses at night or the opening and closing of a dumpster door as the employees clean things up at the end of the night.



All of our kitchens are fully stocked with pots, pans, cookware and utensils. While most properties have salt, pepper, and basic cooking pantry items, we do not guarantee these will be available upon arrival.



1 off street parking space is available.



There is no washer and dryer for this property.



Renters 25 and up are welcome, those under 25 are always welcome with their parent or legal guardian.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The location was an easy walk to the bus stop for skiing and to all restaurants and shopping on Elk Ave. The property was very comfortable and had everything we needed from the kitchen amenities to the electric fireplace and the bed was very comfortable. We will definitely be back!

Cozy and convenient!

The house was great for me and my partner. Just enough space for what we needed, easy to cook our own meals, and the location was amazing being less than a block from the free shuttle. The heated floors were awesome too. Our only complaint was that the bed wasn't very comfortable. Other than that, the place was perfect!

Great home, great location(shuttle to the mtn was just steps away). Loved the place. Only very minor complaint would be pots/pans. We only made breakfast in and the pans were "stick" vs non-stick. Need to get some new ones.

Perfect Location

Great little place

This property has quick walking access to Elk Ave. Crested Butte is truly a walking town. Darling little house with nice kitchen and comfortable bed and gathering area. Property management group were gracious and quick to respond to any needs.

Perfect place!

This cozy cottage is perfect for a weekend getaway! It is located in the alley behind Elk St (CB’s Main Street), so it was such a quick walk to all the fun stuff. Plus the shuttle that goes up to the mountain is also on the closest corner to the Alley House which was a huge plus to not have to lug around all the ski gear! We hope to stay here again :)

Quaint cabin in primo location

The location puts you in short walk to anything you’d want to do Elk Ave. It was great to walk back from the bars or getting dinner or breakfast. The place great on nearly all fronts, but we would recommend ear plugs. We got very familiar with the garbage truck pickup as it was fairly close by, with the house being in the alley. It took us a minute to find it, but it’s got all a couple of adults would need. Well appointed with kitchen supplies and never ran out of paper towels or TP which seems like a rarity with one roll of each at most rentals. Kudos there! The bed was comfy and decent bedding with a lovely, heavy comforter. Would recommend to anyone looking to explore CB for a reasonable price. Skied every day and drove every day so I can’t speak to the access of the bus but it did seem like it was dropping people maybe a block from the property

Comfortable tiny house

We had to reschedule and the management company was able to accommodate us, which we appreciated. This property was clean and comfortable. The location is 1/2 a block off Elk St., the Main Street. We walked everywhere we went in town. We were there in off season so it was very quiet (I don't know how busy season is). The people we met in Crested Butte were so friendly. Overall, we enjoyed our stay immensely and look forward to returning and would be happy to stay at this property again.

You won’t be disappointed!

Clean, comfortable, warm and inviting! This was a great location for our stay. Walking distance to shops, food and drink just across the alley! Nearby to great hiking! We would definitely comeback to see this beautiful town full of friendly people.

Great spot in CB! The home was very comfortable and had everything you need, and the location is amazing! Can walk right to Elk Ave. 1/2 block away for the good restaurants and great atmosphere that CB has to offer!

This very comfortable dwelling was located in an ideal spot for exploring Crested Butte ... restaurants and shops all near by. I didn't get in my car for the two days stay. Even walked to hiking trails near by.

Perfect place; not old and drafty

I love staying in town. But sometimes the role of the dice turns up a marginally habitable location. That’s fine if you’re looking for character and the experience. But I still want warmth and comfort in the winter. The radiant floor heating kept the snow cold away, but it was nice also having a gas fireplace for ambience. Its an easy walk to anywhere on main street. Nicely decorated and appointed. Clean and cozy. Would definitely go back.
