Checked in late at night and could not find the building or driveway. Every GPS app on my phone gave me a different entrance to the property. I had to flag down a Sheriff’s officer after midnight to find to house. The driveway was hard to find too. It was 90 during the day that day and I walk into the house to the heat set at 82 to fan on blowing hot air. The directions provided were very short, just the gate code and lock box code.
We had a very pleasant stay at this cottage. The bed was very comfortable and the stay was clean and very cozy overall. Would definitely recommend and will be back if we are ever in town again!
The cottage was wonderfully furnished & comfortable. Be sure to take the plantation tour and spend time exploring the property while there. A taste of Louisiana history not to be missed. Loved it!
After 5 nights near the french quarter, we decided to unwind for our last night. The corttage fit the bill. Nice and quiet, well stocked and almost like a mini adventure. The tour in the morning was informative. Great stop on our vacation!

L’hébergements est spacieux, lit king confortable. Environnement calme .
Everything was great! Response times from host were fast. Gift shop worker and tour guides were very polite and better than the other homes we had visited!
Greatly enjoyed staying at the Destrehan Plantation. As a history major, this place hit home with past history of pain and suffering within a tranquil setting.
The cottage was perfect for one or two people. I just stayed one night but it was all I needed. The tour of the house was amazing! Ann was the best tour guide. Nice to have a discount tour ticket with the cottage. Very lovely stay.
We came down for a long weekend to go to a promo products show as we are in the promo marketing sales business and got to experience/enjoy the lovely cottage and beautiful city.
Really enjoyed our weekend stay. Plenty towels. Secure. Quiet… Easy access and convenient restaurants close by.
Will definitely try to stay here again. Thanks
The site was very nice, and we had the opportunity to visit the outdoors museum and have a guide tour the next morning before leaving .
The cabin was clean, cute, and very county- stile, but it was a pity that the furniture may not be moved, so we could not eat comfortably in the table. On the other hand, I recommend the property owners to update the pictures on the website or to paint the cabin's outsides to look better.

Beautiful grounds and the house has a wonderful old fashioned feel to it. This house exceeded our expectations. Property management was so easy to work with and made the experience a breeze. Will definitely recommend to family and friends.
We loved our stay at this little cottage! Learning it’s history was quite interesting! From the outside it looked so tiny but the space inside was more than ample! The bed was very comfortable and fridge came in handy for water. We could not have asked for a better place to stay during our trip. We enjoyed our tour of the plantation and walking the grounds. Walking the levy is enjoyable as well. I agree with a previous reviewer some rocking chairs on the porch would be lovely. Close drive to New Orleans. Recommend taking HWY 61 or 48 vs the interstate. You drive slower on the highways but with the stress and traffic of the interstate it takes the same amount of time. Property owner was very quick to get back to us with any information. Overall we HIGHLY this place to couples coming to the area.
