A wonderful family friendly holiday house in the Languedoc

Villa le Paradis has five bedrooms and three bathrooms on two floors, big enough to spend the holiday with two families. With a veranda where you can dine late into the evening with a large group. The villa has a private swimming pool, safe for children, where you can enjoy relaxing in the sun. And a large garden with several seating areas where children can play amongst the olive and fig trees.

Inside there is a fully equipped kitchen and living room, where in the spring and autumn evenings the fireplace can be lit. Modern, luxurious and tastefully decorated. In addition to a TV (with satellite) and Wifi there is a Sonos system available for playing music. Five spacious bedrooms, three on the top floor and two down, with each bedroom two new boxspingbeds (2014). Two bathrooms have a shower and one has an original French bath.

The villa is secluded at the edge of the village Cazedarnes in the beautiful wine country of Saint-Chinian in the Languedoc. Within a half hour drive from the Mediterranean coast and 15 minutes from several lovely French villages, playgrounds and wineries. The airports at Beziers, Montpellier and Carcassonne are within 1 hours drive. Soon to open in the village at 5 minutes walking distance is a shop and café where you can buy fresh croissants and baguettes in the morning.

Garden and swimming pool

Surrounding the villa is the spacious garden. In the garden there are several places where you can read, lounge, relax and where your children can play.

From the porch on the left side you see the pool which is surrounded by oleanders, fruit trees and a playground. On the right from the porch is the 'old garden' with a large picnic table under an old fig tree including hammock and plenty of room for the kids. From the old vegetable garden is a stone staircase to the upstairs country with several olive trees. The garden is fully fenced.

In the garden there is a swimming pool (4 × 10) connected with a spacious wooden terrace with eight standard (teak) deck chairs and two large umbrellas. The ideal place to relax during the day and to spend a wonderful holiday. The pool is fully fenced (safe for children). Underwater lighting is applied.

The villa

You enter the hall. From the hall you have access to the living room with a spacious seating area and fireplace. There is also a TV with satellite connection, wireless internet connection, a Sonos music system with existing (extensive) music and a well-stocked bookcase. In the living room an extendable solid oak dining table with 10 design EAMS chairs.

There is an open connection with the kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped including a dishwasher, induction cooker and microwave oven. The kitchen has an extra table. From the kitchen and living room you have French doors to the veranda of approximately 8 × 2.5 meters. On the porch a teak dining table with 10 chairs. From here you have a beautiful view of the lush garden, pool and vineyards.

The bedrooms and bathrooms are on two floors. On the same floor with the kitchen and the living room there are three bedrooms. Each bedroom has two new beds and a spacious wardrobe. On this floor there are two bathrooms and a separate toilet. A bathroom with large shower and sink and the other with original French bath with also a sink.

From the hall there is a staircase to the ground floor. On the ground floor is the fourth bedroom with patio doors to the garden with private terrace, dressing room and ensuite a bathroom with shower and sink. Opposite this room is a separate toilet and access to the fifth, very spacious bedroom. Also on the downstairs bedrooms are each two new beds. There is also a large play area for children including a table tennis table and (outside) toys on this floor. Here is also a washing machine.

Two cots and two highchairs are available (free of charge).
