Gîte Saint-Roch in the heart of the Luberon

This old barn has been restored to become a beautiful country house. It is equipped with all modern comforts (referenced on Gîtes de France).
Located in the town of Castellet, a typical Luberon village 7 km from the town of Apt (town renowned for its Provencal Saturday morning market), this cottage is an ideal place for all lovers of nature and calm. You can walk or hike there.
At the foot of the Mourre Nègre mountain, this gîte has a view of a very pretty lavender field.

Facilities

This cottage can accommodate 4 people.
Dining room / living room with fireplace (insert) for cool evenings.
The kitchen is equipped with all necessary appliances such as an electric hob, oven and microwave, fridge, dishwasher and washing machine.
In the 2 bedrooms, the beds are modular (2 beds of 90 cm or 1 bed of 180 cm).
A bathroom with shower and bathtub. The toilets are separate.
Possibility of providing a cot for babies, at no extra charge.

Garden

Outside, the arbor terrace is equipped with a garden furniture complete with table and chairs, with an electric grill available.

Oase zum Entspannen

Vorweg: Die nachfolgende Bewertung bezieht sich konkret auf das Ferienhaus "La Pommerie". Dieses gehört demselben Gastgeber und liegt in Sichtweite, etwa 200m entfernt von "Saint Roche". Aufgrund einer kurzfristigen Anfrage des Gastgebers hatten wir in dieses Haus gewechselt. Lage und (nach den Fotos der Objektbeschreibung von Saint Roche auch die Ausstattung) beider Häuser sind ähnlich, Saint Roche ist vielleicht etwas moderner möbliert. Beide Ferienhäuser liegen sehr ruhig etwas außerhalb des Dorfes Castellet auf großen, freien Grundstücken. La Pommerie ist gemütlich und stilvoll mit alten Möbeln ausgestattet. Im Garten kann man stundenlang (wahlweise in der Sonne oder im Schatten) sitzen und die Ruhe und den Ausblick genießen. Wir haben uns wohlgefühlt in diesem renovierten Landhaus, die Fotos entsprechen dem, was wir vorgefunden haben. Die Gastgeberin Céline ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Kleiner Nachteil: In Castellet gibt es keine Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Brot gibt es im Nachbardorf Saignon, ca. 5km entfernt.
