A great beach cottage in the middle of everything on the Outer Banks, Shopping, dinning, recreation, National Parks, First Colony in America, First Flight Memorial to the Wright Brothers, Cape Hatters Light House, Hang gliding, and Great Night Life with Great Food.

The house is decorated in a beach theme, the rooms are a comfortable size, there is parking for eight cars. There are very nice out door spaces with sitting areas, picnic table, grill, and patio.

This was our third stay at Perry and Fran's house. They are wonderful owners - friendly, responsive, and keep the property in excellent condition. The location of the house is close to everything: shopping, beach, park, and restaurants. It has pretty much everything you need for a comfortable stay. Great for families. Thanks Perry & Fran!

Great location! Wonderful stay!

We had a wonderful stay at this property! It’s directly across from Hayman Park, for walking the dog or have the kids can play on the playground. The beach is just a quick drive away. The home itself is clean and well equipped for our stay. We loved it!!!

We always look forward to our annual stay at this property. This year we were able to stay two consecutive weeks and it was wonderful! Meets the needs of our family and dog perfectly, Perry and Fran are always gracious and accommodating hosts!

My family had an amazing time here. We loved the bike/walking trail being so close. We enjoyed being close to shops or restaurants. The beds were comfy. The kitchen was stocked very well. Amazing host would stay here again. Thanks so much!

This was our second time at this property and we’re already planning a third stay. Great house, location, very clean, well stocked. Love the park across the street and fenced in back yard for the dogs. New upgrades this year too! Owner is very helpful and accommodating.

Clean and spacious

It was a nicely located place right across from a big park. Short walk to the sound. The home was clean and very spacious. The fenced in back yard was great for my dog. Also, the beds were very comfortable which was great. We all had a great time staying here.

Great last minute find!!

Perry was a great host and very nice to talk to! He was very helpful in letting us know some great places to check out ahead of time and very quick in responding to any questions we had. We would definitely choose this house again for a wonderful beach vacation!

Wonderful Winter Getaway

Our stay was exactly as advertised and just "what the doctor ordered." We all (myself, wife, and daughter) work in higher education and without our usual summer vacation in 2023, we looked forward to a relaxing and peaceful stay in the Outer Banks. We had a great time, spent a peaceful New Year's Eve, and were able to enjoy magnificent sunrises and sunsets along with walking the coastline. The accommodations were great and the hosts were the best. We will look into staying with them again.

Great Getaway

We have stayed here several times and this time was no different - it was great. The fenced in yard is great for our dog. The property is on a quiet street across from a park. The steps and decking have been replaced and look great. The only negative (my fault) was that we only stayed for one week. We are already looking forward to our next stay here.

February getaway to the Outer Banks

We enjoyed our stay! The property was clean had upgrades (based on prior reviews) and had everything we needed. The location across from the park was close to everything. We enjoyed walks each morning along the paved path on the sound/bay side. We were close to all the points of interest. Perry & Fran were great hosts and communicated well. We will rent again on next trip.

Outer banks

We really enjoyed our stay. Property was exactly as listed. Our dog loved the park and fenced back yard. Neighborhood was quiet. Centrally located. Sound side has a walking/riding path, and a gazebo looking over water to see amazing sunsets.

Great Stay

We stayed for 10 nights with our 4 adult children in March-April 2024. The property was great and Perry was extremely helpful. The location is lovely with the park opposite and a short walk or bike ride to watch the sunset. Out of 9 days we had great weather on 7 - lots of sunshine. The bikes the owners provide are a real bonus. Everything you could need is within 10 minutes and lots of attractions within 30 minutes. We particularly enjoyed the well maintained hiking trails that were less than 10 minutes drive away.

Our stay at OBX!

This house is so convenient for Nags Head, Kitty Hawk, Kill Devil Hills. Everything is just a matter of a few minutes away. There’s a nice park in front of the house, it’s a nice place to walk, take your pets or let your children play. You don’t have to worry about traffic. This is the second time we’ve rented the house. We just love it and the owners are fantastic!

Dream come true for 2020

Originally booked this perfect beach house for myself, my boyfriend, and our dog but was able to have two couple friends join us as well! Perfect size house for three couples and a large dog. The park across the street was amazing and we had an overall perfect experience for a quick beach get away. The house was so clean and the linens were an added bonus as I missed that when booking! Will definitely be returning to this cute sound side spot!

Perfect place!

This rental property was very reasonable. My husband and I came down with our dogs and all of us loved the area. Plenty of areas to walk, close to restaurants and shopping. Quiet neighborhood. The house was equipped well and had everything we needed. I would recommend an additional TV along with some sports channels. The weather was still a little chilly so we spent more time in the house instead of outside. Next time we will visit a little later than February. Thanks for allowing us to stay at your home!

Fall Vacation

We stayed at Perry’s rental house for 2 weeks . September 23rd to October 7th . We got to know Perry and Fran very well . They are both very sweet people . They had the house ready early and let us check in way ahead of the normal check in time . It was nice to have plenty of clean towels provided as well as sheets . Fran even brought us some muffins she had made that were delicious . We enjoyed our stay so much we booked for another 2 weeks next fall .

Like home way from home

Nothing but good to say. Perfect amount of room and space, basic needs easily provided for. Super convenient location, beach on one side, sound on the other offering beautiful sunrises and sunsets every day within walking distance. Our host and hostess were kind and super super responsive. The fact that my furfamily was allowed to be with me was probably the biggest seller prior to arriving and experiencing so many other positives. If they will have us, we would love to make this a regular home away from home when visiting the OBX. The only downside is not at all their fault and there is nothing they can do to make it better. Even though it's only a couple blocks away, crossing the busy highway to get to the beach is a huge challenge as there isn't a crosswalk, light or any kind of bridge that would make it easier to accommodate pedestrian traffic (and their furkids).

We have been staying at this rental for 5 years now and it's great! Perry and Fran are a lovely couple who make sure this house and their renters are well taken care of. The house is always clean, there is a wonderful supply of bath/hand towels, nice kitchen appliances, and the bikes are a huge added bonus!! The house is in an amazing location - close to the Dare County bike path, close to many restaurants, and very close to the beach! We truly enjoy our stay here yearly and appreciate all that Perry and Fran do for their renters.
