We had a great time. Close to attractions and restaurants. The only suggestion I could give is to make the pool by the beach to be adults only after 3PM.

Great family experience with little ones.

We had a wonderful time during our stay at Pelican Beach. It was a great atmosphere with our toddler. Lots of things to do with the family nearby.

Our first property wasn’t ready so I called Panhandle Getaways where I spoke with Jamie who was very helpful and found a replacement. Within 30 mins we were happily in a new condo. Jamie was essential in making our stay the best possible. 10/10 would recommend!

Pelican beach resort

Condo was nice & spacious, bed was comfy. Was happy about finding a box fan & a standing fan in the bedroom closet as I sleep with a fan at home! Both pools have sun until about 2pm and then the condo next to it blocks the sun the rest of the day & to see the sunset you have to go to the beach, you can’t see it from your balcony. Tv in bedroom doesn’t get any channels, no guide or answers on how to get it fixed. No salt in salt shaker so I got some from a restaurant and left there in a drawer for the next visitors. Also, would have loved to have maybe one or two coffee pods to start off with, I bought some and left about 4 in the cabinet for the next guest as well. Overall it was a beautiful resort, view and room!

Our door code did not work at 1st. Front desk would not help, because I booked via Vrbo . When I called Vrbo hold time over 15 minutes. No way to get ahold of anyone in a reasonable time . Also elevators slow and only 3 was working. A lot of floors for 3 elevators. Very clean room awesome views ! Great location.

SO DISAPPOINTED

I normally don’t complain but there are too many things on the list not too! Water main break in the condo unit- water was off one full day- couldn’t use bathrooms in unit- couldn’t brush teeth- it shut off bathrooms by pool for the entire week- the rinse station coming off the sand for the entire week was closed. The main pool was closed for two days FRIDGE in unit FROOZE all the groceries - spent close to $400 that we had to toss a lot out balcony chairs were gross No washer/dryer in unit- coin Laundry only- but washer was broke all week! No hooks anywhere in unit so we couldn’t even dry towels! Simple hooks everywhere would be so helpful if you didn’t have a dryer. We couldn’t have guests over for the day at this location- my sister in law and her husband came over from orange beach and we had to pack up all kids sand stuff to go to a PUBLIC beach because they wouldn’t even let them in the parking lot We took family photos on the last day on the beach- the front desk was nice and gave us replacement ones but we walked past a security guard on the way back into the hotel after and she yelled at us. It’s just my husband and I with our three young boys who have been there ALL week over the bracelet! Which I had the extras in my pocket bc I was behind him. It was absolutely ridiculous!! Pelican Resort - we will NEVER stay there again. We have three young boys (8,6,4) and so many things went wrong while we were there!

Falsely advertised.

The pictures showed a beach view and listed photos of the balcony view of the sand and the beach. The actual view is of the pool which is nearly eye level with your view so you can’t enjoy the balcony, nor can you keep you curtains open as the other guests at the pool are looking directly into your condo. Falsely advertised. Otherwise, the condo setup is nice. It was not as clean as I would prefer, particularly the bathrooms. I cld see grime in places and cld see visible places that had not been cleaned. I wldnt even take a shower without shoes on.

Great location!

Location and access to beach was perfect! Condo was really nice and clean. Only down fall was only 2 elevators worked the entire stay, which made for long waits, but that's not something that can be controlled!

Great stay

We had a great stay! 4th floor meant we didn’t have to wait for the elevator, great balcony view, adorable beach decor and close to everything Destin. Only complaint was the beach was like a parking lot! 3rows deep chairs and umbrellas ($40/day) and they completely covered the length of the beach we were supposed to be on. they were so close to each other it was uncomfortable.
