Just steps away from the beach….

Newly purchased and renovated in January 2024. This Beautiful unit Barefoot Bungalow is located on the 14th floor, with Phenomenal views of the Beautiful Emerald gulf coast. From the beachfront balcony you can sit and enjoy a morning cup of coffee and watch the dolphins, or in the evenings having a glass of wine and watching the beautiful sunset. This view truly is phenomenal!

There are beautiful white granite counters with a large breakfast bar. Kitchen is equipped with everything you would need to make a quick snack or create a Magnificent meal.

This condo will exceed your expectations. It is perfect for a romantic getaway or a family vacation. This unit accommodates six easily. The master bedroom has a king size bed, large dresser with plenty of space. This unit has two complete beautiful bathrooms. The custom designed bunk beds, each with its own “32” inch ROKU television is sure to be a hit with the kiddos! The new queen size sleeper sofa with a COZY KING 8 inch mattress purchased January 2024.

The Pelican Beach Resort amenities rivals is the best resort with Three POOLS, one of which is an indoor/ outdoor. We are the only resort in Destin that has a Zero Entry Pool! We have TWO HOT-TUBS a twenty man and an eight man hot tub, tennis courts, onsite cafe, sundry shop, and a TIKI Hut conveniently located between the Pool and Beach. Newly renovated fitness center and sauna room.

We are conveniently located in the heart of Destin with all the best restaurants and shopping, kids activities and a vibrant nightlife.

This condo was absolutely beautiful!! From the view to the decor, you can’t ask for more! This unit was so clean which is highly important to us. The owners were wonderful and responded right away any time we reached out. They truly made us feel at home and we had the best vacation!! Highly recommend renting this place!

Fantastic condo

We had a wonderful month in this condo. Julie the owner had the place spotless & plenty of dishes& and utensils,We even had an air fryer. The view was amazing & the heated pool& hot tub were great. We would stay here again.

Perfect in every way!

We enjoyed our honeymoon in this condo apartment. It’s very clean and has beautiful decor. The kitchen is well equipped. The view is breathtaking!! We plan on coming back as soon as possible. We enjoyed our morning coffee for hours on the balcony.

Great Location with Easy Beach Access

Nice place to stay

This is our second stay at the pelican beach resort, the first time was very great and this time was great as well, it seems like the rules have changed quite a bit since the last time I stayed, the rental agreement was kinda intimidating with all the potential fees and etc on every other line item it seemed, but we didn’t run into or had any of those issues to deal with so it was fine. Didn’t care much about having to wear a bracelet, that was definitely new to us as well along with a $25 fee if you lost one - kind of ridiculous. Other than that the place was nice clean and worked perfectly for our family and we would encourage anyone else to visit here, make sure to check out the new rules and all the potential fees that are now included . Make sure everyone in your party knows the door code because apparently after the third time of entering the wrong code it’s going to cost you at least $35 I say this because in my emails I was sent two different door codes in two different emails, but luckily, I figured it out before it was an issue. So definitely do your due diligence and make sure that you’re not going to get one of these many many fees they list.

Wonderful family stay

A wonderful stay for our family of four, with two young kiddos! Julie’s home is a warm, elegant and tranquil space. It was very clean and the kitchen was very well equipped for us to cook family meals. Super convenient to enjoying the gorgeous beach, and the umbrella service is definitely worthwhile. Beds were a little soft for us, but we are used to sleeping on firm beds. Would definitely return on future visits! Thank you for hosting us!

Wonderful Condo!

We loved our time in Destin and this condo. It was exactly as described and the unit was well stocked with everything we could have needed and more. The kids loved the bunks with their own smart TVs. The views from the balcony were amazing. The unit was clean and comfortable. It was so nice of Julie to leave us welcome gifts and call to check up on us. The resort property was well kept and clean. The Tiki Hut bar and Cafe were super convenient. We will definitely be back to Destin and would love to stay at this resort and this condo again!

Oh, what fun!

Everything in the condo was lovely! It was clean, fresh, well-appointed, and beautifully decorated. From the outset with check-in until we left, we had a totally enjoyable, relaxing get-away. The accommodations and setting were truly phenomenal--white sand, emerald water, dolphins, a tiki bar, pools, and a lovely balcony from which to take it all in. This was our first visit to the gulf, and I must say that it couldn't have been more enjoyable! We look forward to returning! Thanks, Julie!

Friends trip!

I just have to say that the pictures of this place do not do it justice! This is the most beautiful view I have ever had. This condo was so extreamly gorgeous that I was shocked! I travel a lot and I am so overwhelmed by how beautifully it was decorated. Julie is the owner and she made us so comfortable . I called her to just ask a couple questions about the area and she had a huge binder with all the best places to eat and visit. I am just thrilled by her kindness . I will be visiting there again soon!

Amazing!

Julie was so kind and easy to work with. Her condo was clean and beachy! We celebrated my birthday, my first Mother’s Day and we found out the gender of our first baby! Such a special week and we would definitely return. Having beach chairs and an umbrella available at the unit was thoughtful. Julie ensured we had everything we needed during our stay! Forever thankful for the memories we made during our trip!

Perfect place, Perfect View

We had a great stay at Julie’s place! Check in and communication was great. It was clean and had everything we needed. The view is amazing! Beds were super comfortable. The kids loved the bunks. We saw dolphins off the deck almost everyday. Very family friendly resort. Felt very safe. It well kept and the staff was great. Cafe food and drinks were great. Even a waitress on the beach. I would highly recommend the beach chair service. It’s expensive but so worth it and especially to be able to see the kids in the water. Destin is beautiful, a place we will come back to!

Family Spring Break

Barefoot Bungalow was a great way to spend a week in Destin! The condo was clean, comfortable and right on the beach with amazing gulf views. Julie was easy to work with as well. Would recommend.

Perfect for a Family of Five

Our family had a great time staying in your property. Everything was very clean-and fairly well stocked. We were surprised there wasn’t any salt and pepper-but that was an easy fix. I will also say there isn’t much space for storing things-but we figured it out and made due. The location was great-a beautiful view of the gulf. The elevators were VERY slow-and one was always broken-so that just allowed us to work on our patience. The pools were nice and warm, the beach bar was convenient. We didn’t love having to rent beach chairs-but understood that’s how it works there. We didn’t see any bugs or anything that other people mentioned. Beds were comfy-the kids loved the tv’s in each bunk.

Wonderful Getaway!

Julie is great to work with! She was always available if needed and was great with communication through this whole process. The place was amazing with views of the sunrise and the sunset. Lots of kitchen accessories to accommodate for our meals and the set up was great. The toys in the bench were a great addition. The heated pools were wonderful for the days that is was too chilly to venture to the beach. What a wonderful stay! Thanks Julie!

Barefoot bungalow

Barefoot bungalow was beautiful. Great views of the ocean. We had a wonderful time, our daughter loved the pools. It was clean and beautifully decorated. Mrs.Julie even sent us recommendations for things to do while down there. Such a sweet lady and she was a wonderful host.
