Family Beach Getaway

Family friendly townhouse overlooking beautiful pool and the beach. Kitchen and living room skylights makes the upper level ideal for entertaining or just soaking in the joys of summer time on the North Carolina coast! Not to mention, four different balconies for enjoying the ocean views and sunsets over the intracoastal waterway. Wireless Internet access included. We are set up for family fun including DVD movies, three TVs, and board games. No smoking and no pets, please.


Family beach vacation perfection! We purchased this lovely town house in 2007, and enjoyed every minute we could there. Unfortunately we have had to relocate, but our loss is your gain! Please consider North Topsail Beach and our Shipwatch town house for your vacation plans.

Property Features: Our two story, end unit is very bright and comfortable. It has under-unit parking and storage for your gear. From the parking area, you walk up one flight of stairs to the entrance door. A master bedroom, second bedroom and full bath are located on the first level. The second story features a large living room, kitchen and dining area flooded with sunshine from the skylights. There are decks off the master bedroom and living room that overlook the ocean and swimming pool. Balconies off the second bedroom and kitchen provide views of the intercoastal waterway.

Swimming pool dates: Memorial Day Weekend until mid October.

North Topsail Beach: North Topsail Beach is perfect for your next vacation getaway. The long, unspoiled beaches give you the perfect retreat from the crowds. Beach chairs and beach toys are provided to help you enjoy your time on the sand. Just a short distance away there are a wide variety of restaurants ranging from fast food and pizza, to fresh local seafood. Activities in the area include golf, miniature golf, boating, fishing, diving, and biking. North Topsail is conveniently located between Jacksonville and Wilmington NC so that you can take a quick trip and see the sites of these fine cities.

What a treasure! This was the perfect get away spot for those just looking to enjoy family time. Convenient to the beach and pool, plus Surf City is about 20 minutes away if you are looking for more activities other than the beach and pool. Owners were very responsive and communicative, Townhouse was clean and had all the amenities if you prefer to cook at home most nights. We would 100% stay there again. There were 5 of us and plenty of room!

The photos don’t do this place justice. It’s a great spot and you can see the ocean from the balconies. The upstairs was bigger than I expected! Had some trouble with the shower initially but the hosts were quickly able to provide guidance. I appreciated the tea kettle! There were spices etc in the pantry and although we didn’t cook much, there seemed to be a good bit of utensils and cookware. There were hangers in the closet which was nice, and the washer/dryer worked great. Overall we were very pleased.

We had a pleasant 3 night stay at this condo. It was clean upon arrival - you could smell it had just been cleaned - but we did notice a few deep cleaning items that were missed. But nothing major and there were ample towels! The distance to the beach was slightly longer than we thought reviewing the pictures as this home is at the very back of the complex. The general location of this home is in a quiet area at the north end of the beach. The actual beach here was nice but not as wide as some other areas further south. If you visit during the high season I suspect this beach would be crowded. There are very few restaurants on the actual "island". We ate at two that were within a couple of miles (Seaview Pier and Splash) and also at Rick's back on the mainland and all were good. You will have to go back over the bridge to the mainland for an actual grocery store ...so plan ahead! Overall, a good place to stay and reasonably priced.

Spacious stay at the beach

Took the kids to the beach for the weekend and had a blast. After getting settled in it was like we were staying at our own home. The four porches was a really awesome experience. There were plenty of supplies and the walk to the beach was right out the door. Parking underneath was great because it was raining when we got there and it was easy to unload and load the car. Highly recommend to others.
