'Jim's Cabin' is a historic very rustic mountain cabin. It has two bedrooms and one bath and, with a sofa sleeper in the living room can accommodate 4 people. The screen porch is furnished for dining and relaxing and also overlooks Lake Lure and the mountains. Jim's cabin is pet friendly. This lakefront cabin is named for Jim Washburn. Jim was Tootsie's husband and he built this cabin in 1947. We are near Chimney Rock, Asheville and The Biltmore House. All our Lake Lure, NC cabins are great for anniversaries, honeymoons, birthdays, or any special occasion. Pine Gables offers canoes, horse shoes, private fishing ponds, and a dock on beautiful Lake Lure. All set in a natural landscape with diverse flora and fauna.
