La Rochelle a place to relax

My thanks to our host and owner of the gate who gave me and my dog a warm welcome and was on hand if I needed advice and information. The property is cosy and ideal for a couple who want to be near the centre of La Rochelle which is just a short walk. Plus the garden where you can sit and relax and enjoy meals outside. I fully recommend this site.

A gem with everything you need

The host was very helpful and friendly and had thought of everything to make the stay comfortable. All basic needs were catered for from a well equipped kitchen to provision of basics like salt, oil, coffee, washing powder etc. The personal touch of home made jam and tomatoes from the garden were a welcome addition. Literally 5min walk from the beach and restaurants and an easy drive to many local attraction. Secure parking was a bonus. Although it was a shared pool sat in the garden we hardly saw the hosts who kept a low profile and respected our privacy.

Gîte super agréable et bien placé

Le gîte est très agréable, bien aménagé, aussi bien à l'intérieur qu'à l'extérieur, et bien placé, dans un quartier résidentiel et très calme. Régis et son épouse sont très gentils et bienveillants. La piscine et le jacuzzi sont des plus très agréables et relaxants, surtout par les fortes chaleurs que nous avons eues. Merci encore à Régis et à son épouse pour leur accueil et leur gentillesse !

Maison agréable avec jardin

Logement très propre et calme, propriétaires discrets et serviables. Draps, serviettes, torchons à disposition ainsi que de petites attentions ( savon liquide, cotons, mouchoirs...) ce qui est très appréciable. De plus notre petit chien a été accepté. Literie de bonne qualité. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour.

Wohnung gut ausgestattet, Vermieter sehr freundlich, leider lief während unseres gesamten Aufenthaltes rund um die Uhr ein leise brummender Motor, Tag und Nacht, was uns sehr gestört hat. Deshalb werden wir auch kein zweites Mal kommen.

Grüne Oase in guter Lage

Sehr gut ausgestattete und sehr saubere Ferienwohnung in zweiter Reihe in einer Wohnstraße, absolut ruhig gelegen. Die Wohnung liegt unter der Wohnung der Vermieter und hat ihren Zugang durch den Garten, wo man auch das Auto parkt. Trotz der ruhigen Lage ist die Strandpromenade mit ihren Parkanlagen nur 5 Gehminuten entfernt. In die Altstadt von La Rochelle geht man 20-30 min je nach Weg. Alle Geschäfte des täglichen Bedarfs sind fußläufig erreichbar: Bäcker, Konditor, Metzger, Traiteur, kleiner Supermarkt. Große Supermärkte sind innerhalb weniger Autominuten erreichbar. Besonders angenehm war der eingewachsene Garten, in welchem man in aller Ruhe sitzen und mit dem Weber Grill grillen kann, während die Kinder ums Haus laufen oder die Fische im Teich füttern. Die Vermieter, die nebenher ein Nagelstudio betreiben, sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, man bekommt aber fast nichts von ihnen mit, außer dass wir regelmäßig mit Tomaten aus dem Garten versorgt wurden. Sehr empfehlenswerte Lage und Wohnung! Merci encore une fois, c'était très agréable.

Appartement situé en RDC de la maison des propriétaires bien aménagé et équipé, Très propre, environnement agréable et calme. La cuisine est bien équipée. Literie confortable. Pas trop loin du centre à pied. Propriétaires très agréables et toujours disponibles si besoin.Très bon accueil. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié de prendre nos repas dans votre joli jardin matins et soirs avec la présence du soleil à chaque fois. Et encore merci à vous, nous en garderons un excellent souvenir ! Je vous encourage à le louer.
