Quinault Cove- Two Cabin Property on Quiet Lake Quinault
Welcome to your Home Away from Home in the Olympic National Park! Quinault Cove is the perfect spot while traveling around the Southern Half of the Olympic Peninsula. Nestled between some of the world's largest trees, you will soon be making Lake Quinault a regular retreat. Enjoy kayaking along the shore of the lake, hiking beneath a canopy of 100-year-old trees, and bird watching eagles, osprey and hummingbirds without leaving the couch.
We are now offering our unique TWO cabin property for your perfect vacation get away. Conveniently located on the quiet side of the lake our property is great for traveling with friends or family. Quinault Cove includes both the Canners Cottage and the Bunk House. Located steps away from each other yet not sharing any walls this rental is great for entertaining.
Canners Cottage is one of the two cabins located in Quinault Cove. The larger of the two cabins (1,000 sq. ft) this cottage has unbeatable views from both the dining and living room areas. The Cozy kitchen has local wood counter tops, and a deep farmhouse sink with all the dishes you may need to stay in and enjoy dinner with a view.
Canners Cottage is a single bedroom house with a King Bed located in the bedroom and an optional Queen Murphy Bed in the living room (with an accordion partition wall for added privacy) and additional twin air mattress for larger parties.
The Bunk House is considered a mother-in-law suite (450 sq. ft.). The Bunk House is fully furnished with two bedrooms- each with a Queen-sized bed. The galley kitchen with a full-sized refrigerator, oven-stove top, microwave and Keurig makes it easy to enjoy breakfast in and fix lunch for a day adventure. Cabinets include the usual dishes, including pots and pans, wine glasses, spices and cooking oil.
Although we do not advertise having Wi-Fi we do usually have internet access and will provide the information at check in. Quinault is a rural area and because of the location both internet and phone service may be a bit slow or even nonexistent while traveling around the peninsula (especially through the Kalaloch area and the South side of the lake). We know this can be stressful and advise printing out directions to any highlighted areas in case your GPS is unavailable when you need it.
Quinault is the secret gem of the Southern Peninsula. We are perfectly located about 35 minutes south of the Kalaloch Coast and 1.5 hours south of the Hoh rainforest and hidden away from the hustle. Quinault has plenty of trails on both the North and South shore to keep everyone entertained.
In the past we have offered both our units separately and have had great success. We are excited to share the entire property with a group as we've enjoyed vacations with our family in similar settings. Please feel free to reach out with any questions you might have about the area or property.
We also set-up a farm stand onsite, especially in the summer months here may be traffic in the circular driveway (especially if there is pie). Please let us know if this will impact your stay.

This property is just as described. Very quiet and relaxing and a perfect getaway. After hiking and checking out the area all day, it was awesome to come back here for a relaxing home cooked dinner and reading our books by the lake in the evening.
When we first walked in, after being greeted by the friendly host, we were ABSOLUTELY awed by the view and the bedroom. I am a picky person when it comes to cleanliness, and attention to detail and we were mesmerized with the location.!So very quiet! The interior of the home was SUPER cute and we loved the addition of the local red wine. (Thank you). We also loved how well stocked the kitchen was and were very happy cooks for the two days that we stayed there. Thank you again!
What a cute little nest! Perfect for our visit to the Quinault area. The home was clean, comfortable and full of many thoughtful amenities. We loved waking up to such a beautiful view and being able to use the kayaks was an added bonus. Highly recommended!

About the host
Your host
Hi There! I'm originally from outside of Philadelphia and ended up living in Quinault after coming on a family vacation to visit Forks and the land of Twilight. My husband is originally from the area and together we now have a small farm located about 40 minutes away from the lake.
Why they chose this property
Quinault is such a special area. Being a small community the locals know each other and wave to cars passing by. There are a few restaurants around the lake (and on Hwy 101) but we highly suggest stopping for groceries before completely heading our way.
What makes this property unique
For the past 7 years we have been offering the property as separate cabins. After a recent vacation with family, in a similar setting, we decided to offer our two unit property as a single rental in hopes that other families or friend groups will enjoy the property together.
