The Eagle's Rest is a lakefront cabin located on the north shore of the Lake Quinault inside the Olympic National Park. It offers 180 degree breathtaking view of the lake and the surrounding mountains. Among the many things to do around here, here are few popular options. In the morning or when sun comes out after the rain, watch the misty cloud rises slowly above the lake and the forest behind it. During the daytime, there are plenty of activities to do like hiking the rain forest trails, canoeing on the lake, and wildlife watching. In the evening, set up a campfire right next to the lake and share stories with family and friends.

The house is dated but comfortable. Our family enjoy the amazing view from the deck. The lake was very calm in the morning so we were able to take out the canoe. The fire pit was nice also.
My husband and cousin and i enjoyed a few days exploring the Lake Quinault region of the Olympic National Park and Forest. This cottage location was very convenient. Lovely views of the lake and unusual beach area under a tree root backdrop. Very comfortable living quarters without being overly fussy. We were able to cook and enjoy meals outside on the deck and had dinner at the not too far away Lodge across the lake. We went out each day to explore and hike thru some memorable forest and unbelievable huge old trees. We had a great time thank you.
Check in went fine, except Verbo never contacted us with the check-in information – I had to get it from the owner

Perfect Lake Location
This property is perfect for a lake vacation. We would like to come back for a longer stay and enjoy the lake. We were there for the National Park so did not get to spend much time at the house. It was perfect for two couples. We each hadnour own bedroom and bathroom. Place was well stockdd and peaceful. Not the cleansst place but typical for a lake cottage.

Mold issues
The view is stunning and a great location. However the house smells strongly of mold. It seems to be coming from the back bedroom and garage. We left early.
This property is absolutely spectacular! The view of the lake and mountains is just breathtaking. We used the canoes in the lake and saw a the most amazing rainbow over the lake. The decks are great for relaxing. The beds were super comfortable and house had lots of room. Wish we could have stayed here all week, instead of just a couple nights!
The house was great, but you come and stay for the views! We sat out on the deck all afternoon watching the kids play on the driftwood and in the water. The beds were comfortable. Appliances all worked well. Bathrooms were clean. Would definitely stay again!
We had a lovely weekend! The house had plenty of space for the four of us and our dog. The views were fantastic. Watching the weather move in and out over the lake was magical. We even managed a fire and smores by the lake in between the rain.Perfect distance for a day trip out to the coast.
The house is comfy, the view impressive, and the location is perfect for multiple national park activities. The deck alone is worth the entire property!
The beauty of the mountains, the quiet of the lake, the coziness of the cabin….couldnt ask for a nicer stay on labor day long weekend. Looking forward to our next visit!

Pictures are nicer than actual stay.
It felt like the cabin was an afterthought. Cobwebs on the lights and ceilings. The outdoor firepit was smashed and hard to get to. Oven handle fell off stove.
Would definitely stay here when my travels bring me back to the Pacific Northwest. Morning coffee on the deck overlooking Lake Quinault was the perfect start of the day.
This place was incredible! It was spacious and comfortable and the deck was amazing! Walking down to the water every day directly from the deck was a dream! I really can’t wait to stay there again!
A perfect getaway for my family. We love the Olympic Peninsula and the decks are the perfect place to take in the view. We enjoyed paddling in lake and walking along the beach. The house is a cozy cabin, not the latest decor, or appliances, but a comfy place to enjoy relaxed family time.

We are relative new and are learning how to manage vacation properties. Please keep in mind that this is an older cabin, not a five star hotel and we would like to keep it that way. Due to its remote location, it may take time to find someone to do repairs. Please let us know how to make your stay more enjoyable. . Thank you for your patience.
