Little Gem!

My husband and I had a fantastic stay. Sheen is a great host and provided extensive information on the area prior to our arrival which made planning our day trips hassle free before we even arrived!. The surrounding area is stunning with beautiful villages dotted around just a bus ride away. Well worth visiting a few. The apartment itself is lovely. Kitchen is more than adequate and very modern and the place is finished to a lovely standard. The pool is just gorgeous not to mention the view which is quite breathtaking. Sheen couldn't do enough for us and really did make our stay all the more comfortable. We will most definitely re visit here. It has everything you wish for x

Alles was man zur Entspannung braucht!

Wir (Pärchen, Ende 30) haben traumhafte zwei Wochen in Sheens und Lydias Apartment verbracht! Uns hat es wirklich an nichts gefehlt und das ist noch untertrieben, denn alles war vorhanden, was man im Urlaub und zur Entspannung benötigt. Insbesondere der Pool hat es uns angetan, welchen wir weitestgehend für uns alleine hatten. Aufgrund der hohen Temperaturen im Juli haben wir diesen auch viel genutzt. Fußläufig ist eine Apotheke, ein Supermarkt, ein Bäcker und ein Restaurant zu erreichen. Die Städte Nizza, Cannes und Monaco sind alle gut für einen Tagestrip zu erreichen, im Juli herrscht jedoch großer Andrang und mit Stau ist zu rechnen. Besonders zu erwähnen sind auch das sehr nette Vermieter-Ehepaar. Sheen hat uns oft liebevoll mit kalten Getränken und Eis am Pool versorgt und wir haben nette Gespräche geführt. Und weil es uns so gut gefallen hat, sind wir spontan einen Tag länger geblieben. Alles in allem ein rundum gelungener Urlaub!!!

Very beautiful Appartement and lovely warm helpful owner

Beautiful object, furniture and interior very high quality, nothing damaged. Everything Superb and top. The Garden and the View until the sea ...amazing! The Terrasse aß a second living room fantastic! And the swimming Pool very beautiful, big, clean... Owner gave very much hospitality, a very warm welcome with eine tasting. And Had been very very helpful to ist as we had been sick with bad stomach . He brought us food + water. And He made Administration and Phone call and scheduling a Date with a laboratoire because of PCR Test, so that we could Lesbe France and arrive in Germany without sorrow or fest because of Corona. Tolles Appartment mit Flair

Sheen hat uns sehr herzlich willkommen geheissen. Er hat uns viele Ausflugstipps gegeben und stand für Fragen stets zur Verfügung. Er gab sich grosse Mühe bei der Wegbeschreibung zum Appartment, sogar mit einer Videoaufnahme zum Parken, da dies etwas komplex ist. Das Appartment ist wunderschön, gemütlich, sehr sauber und mit Stil eingerichtet. Es fehlte uns an nichts. Supermarkt und Restaurant gibt es in unmittelbarer Nähe. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder und werden es bestimmt weiterempfehlen.

A Diamond on the Cote D'Azur

This apartment provided us with a holiday to remember. From the moment of arrival to the all too soon departure day the whole experience was delightful with the ambience and comfort outstanding. The immaculate facilities which included the wonderful pool made for a truly memorable stay. Sheen and Lydia are the perfect welcoming, unobtrusive, hosts with nothing being too much trouble, and on hand should you require help. Sheen's assistance with local knowledge and suggestions was also of great assistance. The apartment and Gattieres are situated in a wonderful location providing stunning views to the coast but also ideally situated for exploring the surrounding countryside and villages plus easy access to the classic Cote D'Azur towns. We would have no hesitation in recommending wholeheartedly to others and we will return one day - the place is beautiful!

Beeindruckend / Impressive

Wir waren insgesamt drei Tag vor Ort und konnten sehr angenehme Eindrücke sammeln. Die Aussicht ist wirklich beeindruckend auf Nizza und das Meer. Das Haus hat einen schönen Pool mit etwas Fläche zum Grillen, spielen etc. Die Inneneinrichtung ist sehr hochwertig und die Räume waren sehr sauber bei der Ankunft. Der Vermieter ist wirklich sehr freundlich und unkompliziert. Hilft auch gerne weiter und gibts Tipps für Ausflüge. Sehr gastfreundlich. Bis nach Nizza ist es nur 15-20 Min mit dem Auto. Im Dorf und und vor allem in unmittlebarer Nähe hat es sehr viele Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt und können dieses Appartment gerne weiterempfhelen. Besten Dank an Sheen.

Fantastic all round - the apartment, the pool, the location and the hosts.

We just had a lovely short stay here. Communications with the owner when booking and before arrival were excellent. Sheen arranged to pick us up from the airport as we were not hiring a car and this worked out cheaper than a taxi - it's just around 20 km drive north from the airport. Sheen and his wife gave us a very warm welcome at the property and were very helpful throughout our stay, but also managed to make us feel like we had the place to ourselves. The apartment is next to, but separate from their own home and has been recently refurbished to a high standard, including a modern bathroom and kitchen area. The apartment was very clean and well maintained. There were two of us, using the double bed and the sofa bed, both of which were very comfortable. The grounds and pool are lovely and feel very secluded and private. There are lots of places to sit and relax including some shady spots. It was very peaceful, just the occasional passing car and the distant hum of cars in the valley beneath. There are very broad views from the apartment and pool-side down along the river Var to the coast, with forest on the hillsides, some light industry and agriculture in the valley below and in the far distance the Allianz Riviera stadium, St Laurent-du-Var, the airport and coast line. Gattières is a pleasant hilltop village with some ancient houses and narrow alleys and views towards the Alps. There's a supermarket less than five minutes walk away from the apartment, and a couple of restaurants in the village. With mountains to the north and Nice and the coast to the south, it's well placed for activities if you have transport, but we were just there to relax. I would really recommend this property and hope to go back again some time.

Gattières is a coastal village perched on a hilltop 300 metres above sea-level. It looks down the var valley & the mediterranean sea on one side, and has views of the mountains on the other side. (See photo of village).

The apartment is 5 minutes walking distance to the village centre. Here you'll find a supermarket for all your daily grocery needs, a bakery, 2 restaurants and pizzerias, 2 bars and cafés, hairstyling saloon etc

Perfect for outdoor activities like mountain hikes, jogs, cycling ... and visits to nearby french coastal villages like St Paul de Vence, St Jeannet or to coastal cities Monaco / Cannes / Nice ... or enjoy eating outside on the terraces in the evening at the many restaurants in the old town of Vence ... or in the old town of Nice.
