Lovely, spacious, and well appointed.
Brought the kids and friends for a winter getaway. Lots of room inside and out. Nice to have a kitchen that's well equipped, beyond just the minimum expected. Bedrooms have extra room and the open kitchen to dining to living room areas make for a wonderful group space. We stayed during a time of unusually cold weather (below zero Fahrenheit), stay warm and had no issues in the cold.

Fantastic Winter Holiday
The property was very comfortable for the entire family. Kids enjoyed the toys in their room. Parents enjoyed reading upstairs. Cross country skiing at Plains Valley Ski Trails was very convenient with plenty of rental equipment for all. Visits to Leavenworth in the evening were fantastic. Thank you!

Great place!
This house is absolutely beautiful, and super well set up. My husband and I took our four kids (ages 9, 7, 5, and 4) and we spent a week there enjoying the views, walking the neighborhood and surrounding trails, and playing board games. Highly recommend!

I grew up in Seattle with a love of the Cascades and all the activities the mountains and rivers allow. Our family really loves this property. Owning a home in Plain/Leavenworth area on the river surrounded by mountains has been a dream of mine. Now that I have met the people in the community I realize this is where I want to retire. This vacation home has brought our kids and grand children together with adventures by day and family laughter around the table at night. Sharing this space with others has been a wonderful experience. We hope your friends and family will enjoy the same love and relationships we have here.

Why they chose this property

I have traveled to this area my entire life. My father used to take us camping at Fish Lake long before the The Cove Resort was established just down the road a few minutes from the house. He taught us kids how to fish there then he taught my son how to fish on Fish lake years later. Our family vacations have always been in the Cascades most likely due to my parents financial resources. That is where I learned to love the mountains, lakes and rivers here in the Northwest.

When my husband and I found this property I was excited because I already loved this area. My husband was not sold on it, being from California he was not sure about all the snow in the winter. He was quickly sold on the idea when he saw the off road vehicles headed down our street to the trails a few blocks away. He loved riding off road and now he would not need to trailer his bikes to a recreational area to have fun. This is only one of the reasons this neighborhood is called recreational paradise. We have discovered many other fun activities in the last few years such as snowmobiling, hiking, boating, river floating or rafting depending on your adventure level, etc.

What makes this property unique

Location Location location!!

Like I have said recreational paradise! located in the mountains in between 2 rivers near Leavenworth and Steven pass thus property has so much to offer even if you are not the adventurous type.
