Quaint Log Cabin-Fire Pit-Waterside Property-Birds Creek Campground
Glamping anyone? Ever want to be surrounded by the beauty of the Great Smoky Mountains?
Feel like you are on vacation every day, in a quaint mountain cabin (aka Hummingbird) near the banks of Birds Creek, a year-round crystal-clear mountain stream. Hummingbird cabin is located in Birds Creek Campground, a lovely, peaceful gem nestled in a beautiful green meadow, with a stream running through it. The campground is conveniently located only 7 miles from Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, & Sevierville, TN. Only minutes away from the campground are the three main entrances to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, in Gatlinburg, Wears Valley, & Townsend.
The majority of our campground guests are extended-stay campers, amongst which are doctors, nurses, and other professionals. The campground is quiet, peaceful, and safe. We minimize light pollution at night so everyone can enjoy the amazing night skies. The campground itself is a tranquil little valley of its own, isolated from the crowds and the tourists, and a place many of our guests refer to as "zen-like" and refreshing. Come and join us!
For all you fishing fanatics, fishing near Birds Creek Campground is some of the best in the eastern United States. There are excellent small mouth, bream, rock bass, and trout waters just a 10-15 minute drive from the campground. The Smoky Mountains National Park has hundreds of miles of pristine trout streams, some with trout population densities as high as 2000 trout per mile. The upper levels of these streams contain the beautiful Native Brook Trout (different than brook trout caught in the western U.S. The lower ends of the streams have Rainbow and Brown trout. Spinning tackle or fly tackle work well in the area. If you want need info on some local fishing spots, give us a call and we'll be happy to tell you about some of our local favorites.

We really enjoyed our stay in this cabin - it was immaculate when we arrived and well equipped for two people. The pictures online make the cabin look very far away from the campsites - they are not as far as pictured (thus the 4 stars) but certainly far enough to make it more private. The cabin is close to Gatlinburg and Pidgeon Forge.

Thank you for the 5 star review! We are so happy to hear you enjoyed your stay and thought the cabin was immaculate and well equipped! We appreciate the feedback and would welcome you again.
We stayed 2 for two weeks recently and loved it. This cabin is a wonderful way to get away from everyday life and only be as connected as you want to be.. There are 2 TVs with basic cable, WiFi, it's close to all the major attractions in the area, but not too close, and it was great to have the laundry room right next door and be able to do laundry for free.
The kitchen is well-equipped with everything needed to prepare meals if you desire. The gas grill and fire pit were also great as well as the rocking chairs on the front porch.
We would definitely stay here again .
i recently stayed at this cabin with my husband, my 7 year old daughter and our dog. the cabin was adorable and was only about 20 minutes from everything. prime location. the other RV neighbors didnt bother us at all.
The cabin was really nice campground was a nice get away only thing we found was the sheets and pillows were dirty and lights in main bathroom light bulbs were out . We would stay again thank you for the opportunity.

We loved our stay at the Hummingbird Cabin. It was 15 minutes from Gatlinburg and 20 from Pigeon Forge. We were close enough to do all our outdoor activities but not be caught in the hustle and bustle of all the crazy tourists downtown. Absolutely loved our stay!
We stayed here to enjoy Dollywood for the 4th. It was big enough for two adults and two kids. It worked out great for bringing a dog. Very easy to rent and good communication with the owners / managers.
With everything that is going on in the world with COVD19m, it was good to get away for family fun. This cabin and it's location was perfect. We grilled out every night because everything was closed, which made it an even better adventure.
Everything from start to finish was great. We thought we street gong to be able to come, but things worked out.
Our only complaint were the roads. A little scary, but doable. This place was so cozy even my 15 year old loved it. I can not say enough about it. Thinking about booking again.
Clean, quiet, close to Gatlinburg, Piegon Forge, Serverville. I
It was very nice and close to everything. The only thing I would of wanted was a hot tub. But it had washers and dryers for the people who stayed in the campground. And the mountains were beautiful, with a stream surrounding the campground.
Overall, the property was nice! It was clean, relatively quiet, and efficient.
However, that bed. It was horrible. It’s simply just a mattress on a metal frame. It needs something- a new mattress, egg crate, foam topper, or something. My back was killing me the whole time. My husband opted to sleep on the couch.
The “second bed” is a pullout, but generally, they’re not much better. So, he just slept on the couch itself.
Would we stay there again? Sure, but I’m bringing a mattress cover!

Overall a very nice cabin. Ceiling fans need to be cleaned and pics are a little deceiving. There is really no privacy door for the living room/second bedroom, just a throw blanket attached to a rod with clips and the bathroom sink is not actually in the bathroom but in a corner of the living room
We had a lovely time staying in this cabin! It was quiet and comfortable! It was located in close proximity of downtown Gatlinburg and good hiking areas. Laundry facility was available. Nice front porch with rocking chairs! Would recommend!
Cabin is close to all attractions but still has a country feel about it. The campers close by are extended stay campers and quiet and helpful. Property manager was quick to respond. Highly recommend it

Wonderful cabin, beautiful area
We had a wonderful time! We’ve stayed in a lot of pet friendly cabins and this one is now at the top of our list. VERY clean, seems brand new! It’s the only cabin on the campgrounds so there are other people coming and going but you have so much yard/space around the cabin....super peaceful. Totally recommend this place!!

So close yet so far away
Best part about this cabin is it is not right in the middle of the tourist trap. With that being said it is literally no more than 10-15 minutes from everything someone coming to enjoy the Smokies could want to do or see. Owners make sure you are settled and are very helpful and nice.
