The area has 22 local wineries, many only minutes away. The cabin is fully turnkey with a gas grill, brand new kitchen and more. Stunning Lake Chatuge, the Appalachian Trail, Helen, GA, wineries, antiquing, hiking, waterfalls, Brass town Bald, tubing, water parks are yours to enjoy. You’ll love the views, the central location, the comfy bed, the coziness, so much to do! Helen is 25 minutes away.

We came up for the weekend It was fantastic we paid extra 65 for the downstairs and gave us plenty Of space very cool 2 bedroom 2 bath house with great showers They had passes for the swimming pool at the Ridges resort about 7 min drive Can’t wsit come back huge decks Grills everything was AWESOME thanks for sharing your hone with our family of five

There is an odd odor when the heat comes on but fortunately after a few minutes it goes away.The bathroom door does not stay shut.The television instructions were clear but the remote was broken - the down button on the cursor control did not function. Also it appears that another guest had altered the Netflix login info and without the full use of the remote this could not be corrected. Finally there was an Amazon firestick in the TV that simply would not get past the startup splash screen.Overall the views were good and the kitchen was well equipped and we enjoyed the visit.

Perfect Romantic Getaway with Astounding View!

Our anniversary was made perfect by this jewel of a find! The first thing we noticed and were enamored by was the view! The photos don’t do it justice! And thanks to large windows, this view is visible when you sit in the living room, when you are eating at the dining room table, and from the bed when you wake up. The owners paid attention to almost every detail with the decor and fixtures throughout. Love all the blues! You will LOVE the shower. The bed is extremely comfortable with nice linens and pillows. We are two large people and just hate it when owners have a double bed but advertise it as a queen. This is a true queen size bed with space to sleep not bumping each other all night! The kitchen has all you need, with a full size fridge and the cutest little stove. Just know the oven cooks faster than a standard size, so deduct a few minutes from anything you bake. Thank you for the full size coffee maker and NO KEURIG! Loved it! (PS Ingles is close for your grocery shopping needs.) Things to note: the road up is narrow, steep, and gravel. I felt safe in hubby’s 4X4 but would be scared to drive my 4-door sedan up or down. I’m also wimpy about things like that. Bring some firewood for the fire pit. The owners make sure not to book another family downstairs simultaneously as your visit so you have the property to yourself. The property is completely private, as in when you are on the back balcony there is no cabin or house to the left or right; very secluded. If I had to fix or change one thing about the place, it’s what other reviews have stated- there is nowhere to put clothes. There is a small closet with 2-3 wire hangers and a few plastic baby-size hangers. So bring your own hangers. The bed has beautiful, very large throw pillows but there really is only one place to put them out of the way when you sleep- bottom of the closet. All other space is walking space. I can see two places where a small dresser would fit. One is the corner where the wooden rocking duck is. The other is the corner where the succulent planter is. Might have to forgo a little decor to make it more useful/practical. As it was, we lived out of our duffel bags, which were always in the way- no space for them so they stayed on or under the dining room table. Imagine 3 or 4 people staying here. One or two hooks on the wall in the bathroom would also be useful. Small detail. Nevertheless we loved how charming this place was and would return again and again!

2021 vacation

My husband and I wanted a vacation by the lake to just get away and relax. I work in the medical field and was not able to get a vacation last year due to COVID. The place was just as described online and a perfect get away. The owners where so nice and helpful and was able to get them if we needed anything. We went on the 4th of a July week and was able to see all the fireworks from the deck.We will definitely rent from them again. The only problem we had was that we brought my husbands truck with boat and was very difficult coming and leaving due to the spot being very small and hard to turn around.

Very nice place. Beautifully remodeled. Rented upstairs portion only, Perfect for 2 people. View is beautiful, and property owners are responsive and very accommodating. Kitchen needs some more pots and pans, otherwise nicely equipped!

Lovely but

This is a really nice little house. The kitchen is adorable and functional. The bathroom is also, & it was one of the best showers I’ve ever used. It was very comfortable. I would absolutely go back there, but there are a few things missing that would make it a bit better. There is no place to put non-hanging clothing - no dresser, not even a valet rack to set your suitcase on. There was no bath mat. The incredible shower splashes out into the floor and I ended up using some of my towels on the floor to step onto and to wipe it up. There was no backup roll of toilet paper, only the remnants of the roll left by the last guest. There was a lot of rain during my visit and the outdoor furniture cushions never dried. It would be great if there was a dock box to store the cushions. The cushions could be kept dry then, and the deck would be more comfortable when outside, where there is an incredible view and serenity. The grill had not been cleaned. Again, this is a beautiful place. I hope these small things are addressed before I come back!

Great getaway! We enjoyed our stay here. It was the perfect getaway!

The property is very clean. It offers beautiful views and fresh mountain air. The property below can be added on and rented for an additional couple. We enjoyed the new Memory Lane classic car museum and were able to hit several wineries near by. It was a great weekend!

Beautiful, clean cabin with great views!

We loved our stay here. It was exactly what we needed to be alone and surrounded by nature. The decor was incredible, I especially enjoyed the shower! The only issue for me is there were no window coverings (i.e., curtains/blinds). That's a personal preference, I just like to be able to cover the windows when I go to bed! Other than that, everything was great. Thanks for letting us stay!

Location with a view ! We loved it !!

The location is quiet. Decor was very attractive. The bed was incredibly comfortable. And our favorite part was the large deck with a view of the lake.
