Perfect for our friends
I can say all the usual nice things about the property. It was clean with lots of natural light. The kitchen was easy to work in and nicely laid out with all of the tools and utensils we could hope for. The back porch had plenty of seating and cushions and a lovely view of the water. Truly a beautiful property and the hosts were easy to get in contact with if we had needed.
I tend to point out disability access in my reviews because our friend group has different levels of mobility. There were no stairs at all to get into the property, the front porch is flush with the driveway and the threshold of the front door. There are some minor surface changes on the first floor, but not too bad an easy to manage. You really wouldn't be able to use a wheelchair into any of the bathrooms, the one that would have enough space in it has a tricky little hallway to get to it, but if you could transfer using a couple wall supposted steps, you would probably be fine having a wheelchair user in this home.
My only concern is that the beds are all fairly high up. Not in a weird way or anything, just on the higher end of normal and to the point where we have a couple of (short and/or mobility impaired) people who would consider bringing a small step stool or something for next time. One of them just stepped up onto her hard shell suitcase this time to get on and off her bed.
We loved the property and would recommend it to anyone who was considering the area
