Perched atop a private ridge in the Blue Ridge Mountains, Mashburn Mountain Lodge is your escape from everything. Wake up to misty mountain views and the sound of the Tallulah River below. Soak in the private hot tub under the stars. Gather around a crackling fire with the people you love most.

Completely renovated with designer touches — shiplap walls, stacked stone fireplace, granite counters, high-thread-count linens — this is mountain living without roughing it. 4 bedrooms, 3 full baths, and 2,450 sq ft of warm, inviting space for up to 10 guests. Paved driveway.

Everything about our stay was great. Sarah was very responsive and helpful. The house was clean, comfortable and well-equipped. The view from the deck is spectacular and the hot tub was a great hit with us. We enjoyed sitting around the firepit on cool evenings and loved exploring the surrounding area. All round a very enjoyable stay.

The property was one of the cleanest and best equipped rentals we’ve stayed in. It had everything we needed for an extremely comfortable and relaxing stay. Lovely property, kitchen was well stocked and views beautiful from the porch. Loved the decorations style and everything was comfortable. The only thing to note is that one of the bedrooms is actually a loft bedroom with minimal privacy. Fine for our group because we put a younger teen up there but may of been awkward if it was a couple or adult that wanted privacy

Beautiful place

Perfect for a trip to the beautiful mountains in North Georgia! We were in town for a family wedding at Terra Incognita Vineyards and the location worked out great. We were able to spend some time in cute downtown Clayton as well, where there are several nice places to eat and cute shops. Everything was seamless and we would definitely stay at this home again.

Cute mountain cabin near lake

7 of us stayed here for a wedding at lake rabun and this house was great! Such a nice house with plenty of room for all of us and all the amenities! We really enjoyed the hot tub and the porch. Sarah was very helpful and easy to get in touch with.

Best mountain house in a long time!

One of the best VRBO rentals we've had! Sarah was extremely responsive (and gracious), and the home was better than the photos - a truly top notch renovation! Firewood was dry (the kids still wanted s'mores in August), and the views were stunning. Will be booking again soon!!

Fabulous home

So much to say. Home was beautiful. View, fabulous, even from the hot tub. The kitchen was well appointed and very nice linens. Plenty of wine glasses, cookware, serving ware, etc. We stayed for our wedding week, got to take fabulous pictures, plenty of room for getting ready. The host was so accomodating. We will definitely be back!!
