Vintage 1950's duplex. Super stylish and cozy. This amazing space is all about comfort and relaxation. It has a wonderful, private yard, including fire pit and covered outdoor dinning as well as a gas BBQ. This is the perfect place for a weekend getaway or for an extended period of time in the hidden gem of Los Alamos. Just 9 miles from Los Olivos and the rest of the multitude of vineyards and wine tasting. This little town has some of the best restaurants the Valley has to offer in a 4 block stretch. We also have access to a talented massage therapist available for in bungalow massage if you book in advance. We are in a quiet neighborhood with lovely neighbors so if a wild bachelor party is what you are interested in this is NOT the place for you. If you are looking for a romantic getaway or just some peace and quiet, look no further.

In town for a wedding and so thankful that we were able to stay at beautiful Magnolia Cottage in charming Los Alamos. Centrally located, able to walk to everything in town. Property was clean, comfortable, had everything we needed. Alex, the host was very quick to respond to any questions we had and kept us updated. Highly recommended.
We had an amazing stay at this beautiful home in Los Alamos while we were in town for a wedding. The house was spotless, spacious, and full of thoughtful touches that made it feel instantly comfortable. The beds were cozy, the kitchen was well stocked, and there was plenty of space both inside and out to relax and unwind. Everything was exactly as described, and even better in person. There was a very minor plumbing issue during our stay, but Alex handled it immediately and made the whole process totally stress-free. His responsiveness and care really stood out and made us feel well taken care of.The location was perfect—an easy walk to the restaurants and shops along Bell Street, and a great jumping-off point for exploring the Santa Ynez Valley. Los Alamos itself is such a charming town, full of great food, wine, and character. It still feels a little bit like a hidden gem, and staying here gave us the perfect local experience.I can't recommend this property enough. It made our trip incredibly special, and I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
Perfect little cottage in the heart of Los Alamos. An easy walk to shops and restaurants. The host was very responsive and house had everything we needed. We will be back!
The garden in the front in a relaxing place to sit, and has a nice of the hills. The inside was quite clean and comfortable. An easy walk to the main part of town. Very easy to find and access.
The cottage was great, and exactly as described in the photos and listing. The beds and linens were top-notch, and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed for our multi-day stay. We all especially appreciated that it was an easy walk into town for our wedding in the evening and also the bakery/breakfast in the morning. Overall a really nice stay. Thanks Alex!
This was the sweetest and loveliest little cottage. It was clean, super cute, wonderfully decorated, quiet, comfortable...My husband and I fell in love with it! Can't say enough good things!
An absolute gem in Los Alamos. Alex has created a phenomenal experience. Extremely well appointed with high quality furniture and linens, home is spotless and very comfortable. Clearly Alex loves being a host and it shows because she wants the best experience for her guests. Parking is easy, grounds are beautiful and well maintained, beds are luxurious. Bathroom is clean and updated and water pressure is divine! Home is a sweet quick walk to restaurants and shops on Bell Street. The perfect spot for exploring the hidden gem that is Los Alamos. Don’t miss Bob’s Well Bread, Plenty on Bell, Full of Life Flatbread and Bell’s for food. Thank you for everything, Alex, I’m plotting when I can return!
We were in Los Alamos for a family wedding….rented Magnolia Cottage (8 nights) to turn extra time there into a mini vacation to explore the area, in addition to attending the festivities. We have rented over a dozen VRBOs and this gem was one of the best….cute gardens, comfortable beds, nice kitchen and living room, walking distance to downtown, lots of fresh towels, a very quiet retreat. etc. Alex provided everything needed, including a welcome basket. Everything was fresh and clean when we walked in, and there was plenty of info. provided about things to see. Everything is on one
level….no steps to climb.
So glad we made the reservation the same day we received a “save the date” notice from the bride and groom.
We highly recommend Magnolia Cottage!

Came here for a weekend with 2 girlfriends. Enjoyed the Los Alamos area down the street, including tasting rooms, restaurants and shopping. Also headed over to Los Olivos for more of the same and super charming there! Property is adorable! Can’t go wrong here!!
We had a wonderful stay at this Los Alamos cottage! Alex was so responsive to questions we had. The cottage has lovely decor, very comfortable, clean, and exceeded our expectations. We were there for a wedding and the location was central to everything.
This house is perfect for anyone exploring the valley and also very close to Santa Barbara and the coast. Beautiful home, very clean and very well stocked. I can’t say enough about Alex’s place and her professionalism and ease of communication.
I have been fortunate to experience a lot of vacation houses over the years in various countries; European, Central American, US. This is hands down the most exceptionally clean and well appointed house I’ve ever been it. It is petite but perfect. Alex has thought of truly EVERY THING a guest might normally think to need and it was all at our fingertips. Tasteful, fresh, convenient. In addition to the stellar hosting, Los Alamos and the neighborhood are one of the quietest places I have had the pleasure of resting, ever, aside from camping in the woods. We were able to partake of all aspects the home had to offer in our quick two night visit. Our party consisted of me, my husband and 12 year old son. I am sure we will return.
This little gem in Los Alamos was perfect for our wine tasting trip. Just a 15 minute drive to Los Olivos and Foxen Canyon. The neighborhood is adorable and peaceful. The little touches Alex puts into her place are so sweet. From the bottle of local wine to the snacks to the comfortable beds and the directv for watching movies at the end of a long day of wine tasting, which of course is the main event! Alex asked us for feedback and even went out and bought us a larger frying pan because I mentioned it in a text. She really cares about her guests and it shows. I love this place! I stay exclusively in VRBOs and it’s not always a great experience. Magnolia Wine Vottage is at the top of my list.
This home and property are beautiful, extremely well-appointed, easy to navigate, upgraded, and comfortable. Alex was a great host: timely, proactive, and easy to contact with extremely clear and accessible instructions. And Los Alamos is a wonderful location, small, laid back, and friendly with gorgeous views with easy access to attractions along the central coast.
