Magnificent stone cottage with jacuzzi, swimming pool and large wooded grounds.

Former barn tastefully restored. Quiet cottage in a beautiful setting that can accommodate 6 people. Located in Saint Marcel de Careiret beautiful little village in Provence at the gates of the Ardèche. For wine lovers, Saint-Marcel is part of the Côtes-du-Rhône at the western limit of the appellation of controlled origin zone. Halfway between Nîmes, Uzès and Avignon you can just as much taste the joys of a swim in the river, like a stroll at Pont-du-Gard. Barely an hour from the Camargue you can also enjoy a sea swim after a horse ride. A deposit of 800 euros in check or cash will be requested (the check will not be cashed and will be returned to you when you leave).

Great location

Leatitia is a beautiful host. She is always available with any queries and goes out of her way to help if needed. The Gite is very clean and spacious. We received a nice welcome pack on arrival. The area was perfect for exploring. We enjoyed our one week stay.

Summer holiday in a lovely region

We have had a very nice vacation in this lovely region of France. A great place to visit the area: nice authentic cities like Uzes, Orange, Avignon, Nimes,... ; Pont Du Gard (swimming, canoe); different markets;... The house is well equiped and has a big garden with a good swimming pool and also a jacuzzi wich we didn't use. Nice and friendly hostess who makes you feel at home.

Some problems

At one point the electricity went off at another. The water was out and then another. The Wi-Fi didn't work. Also property had some maintenance issues as well as remains from the two large dogs.

I ve been rented this place for 5 years now.... I ve tried to do my best....the electricity and internet went off because there was a storm and were restored as soon as I could... As for the 2 large dogs one is a 5 months old puppy..the other 13 years old and he can t walk... 🤔 I ve asked you to tell me if there were any problems with them which you didn t do... As for the water there indead was a leak a night which was taken care in the morning and I even floded my garage so that you could have a shower.... But what I find the most disgusting is that you told me that it was fine and you even thank me for the present.... I think it s dishonest... You should have told me if it was such a desaster! .... By the way you broke the curtains and I didn t even ask you to pay for it..... Mmmm... Really I m so awful... 🤭

Le logement est très bien décoré et équipé, un grand jardin et des grands arbres magnifiques, la piscine et le jacuzzi ensoleillés et très agréables, différents salons d extérieur dont un toujours à l ombre, … en résumé un endroit parfait. Et en plus Laetitia notre hôte, super gentille et accueillante ! Tout nous a plu, et vaut son prix. Nous reviendrons sûrement….

Maison pleine de charme decoree avec goût, au calme et bien situé.Laetitia a littéralement sauvé nos vacances en acceptant de nous louer sa maison en derniere minute( notre location ayant ete annulée la veille par un hôte peu serieux)Le temps ne permettait pas de se servir encore de la piscine mais elle a fait son possible pour installer le jacuzzi durant notre sejour et c etait parfait! Wir haben einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in diesem liebevoll eingerichteten und gut ausgestatteten Ferienhaus genossen. Es bietet viel Platz für vier Personen, einen schönen Sitzplatz für Grillabende sowie einen großen Garten mit Pool und Liegestühlen – perfekt zum Entspannen. Die beiden gutmütigen Hunde auf dem Grundstück waren sehr freundlich. Besonders geschätzt haben wir die herzliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeberin, welche uns einmal mit einer selbstgemachten Quiche überraschte.

Ein fantastisches kleines hübsches Häuschen mit einer sehr liebenswerten Gastgeberin, die alles macht, um den Aufenthalt zu perfektionieren.Kleine Kritikpunkte sind:-1 junger, 45 kg tollpatschiger Hund und ein Mops, die sich frei im Garten bewegen, an die man sich erst gewöhnen muss, die aber sicherlich sehr liebenswert sind.- Der Pool ist fantastisch, die Aussengestaltung hat Luft nach oben, so könnte sicherlich eine schöne Holzterasse mit Schirmen und Polstern für die Sonnenliegen den Bereich bereichern.Wir haben tolle Ausflüge gemacht. Zu empfehlen ist eine Fahrradtour sowie die 24 km Kanutour an der Ardeche.Liebe Laetitia, vielen Dank für die schöne Woche. wir werden Dein Haus weiter empfehlen.

Wir durften eine Woche in dem alten Steinhaus mit Pool verbringen. Das Haus ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Es ist alles vorhanden was man im Alltag so braucht! Die private Terrasse ist gemütlich und das Außengelände und der Pool wunderschön! Laetitia ist eine äußerst aufmerksame und freundliche Gastgeberin! Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt und können das Haus nur wärmstens weiter empfehlen.

Ruhe, Entspannung und herzliche Gastgeberin – ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt

Unser Aufenthalt war rundum gelungen. Das Haus war gepflegt und der Pool war wunderschön, sauber und bestens gewartet. Der Whirlpool war zu jederzeit zur Nutzung für uns bereit. Das Grundstück ist riesig, und wir konnten alles frei nutzen, was den Aufenthalt noch angenehmer gemacht hat.Die Vermieterin war sehr, sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und stets darum bemüht, dass es uns gut geht.Das Dorf liegt abgeschieden und die Menschen dort waren durchweg freundlich und hilfsbereit. Für alle, die absolute Ruhe suchen und dem Alltagsstress entfliehen möchten, ist dieser Ort perfekt geeignet.

Un Paradis avec une Hôte très intentionnée

Notre séjour étais merveilleux. Le logement est neuf, très confortable et très bien équipé. La literie est très confortable pour un repos optimum! La terrasse privative donne sur le parc arboré. La piscine est magnifique et spa précieux pour se détendre. Laetitia est une hôtel exceptionnelle. Après nous avoir fait découvrir le logement et parc, elle nous a accueilli avec un apéritif dinatoire préparé par ses soins! Le village très proche offre toutes commodité pour courses et restauration. point central pour visiter la région! Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir et ne pouvons que vous conseiller de séjourner dans ce petit paradis du Gars

Liebevoll hergerichtetes Ferienhaus

Wir hatten einen wunderbar erholsamen Aufenthalt. Das Ferienhaus ist ruhig gelegen, sehr liebevoll hergerichtet, sehr sauber und prima für 4 Personen geeignet. Laetitia ist eine aufmerksame Gastgeberin, sie lebt im Haupthaus und hat uns sehr herzlich empfangen (sie spricht im Übrigen hervorragend Englisch, wenn das eigene Französisch nicht reicht). In der Umgebung gibt es viel zu entdecken und wir hätten auch gut noch einige Tage länger in dieser schönen Region bleiben können.

Une semaine sans soucis

Les propriétaires nous ont très bien accueillis lors de notre arrivée. Ils sont hyper sympas et de bon conseil. Ce fut une belle rencontre. Le gîte est décoré avec goût. Rien ne manque, du robot ménager jusqu’au sèche cheveux. Nous recommandons cette location les yeux fermés tant pour sa situation géographique que pour la convivialité de ses hôtes

Wunderschönes Apartment mit Top Ausstattung

Das Apartment ist wunderschön, genau wie auf den Bildern. Die Ausstattung ist prima, in der Küche wurde an alles gedacht. Der Pool ist super zum Abkühlen. Den Whirlpool haben wir bei knapp 40 Grad Lufttemperatur nicht genutzt, obwohl er extra für uns befüllt wurde. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und geben tolle Tipps. Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen.

Très beau gîte avec piscine et grand jardin

Nous avons passé deux semaines formidables dans le gîte de Laëtitia entre repos au bord de la piscine et visites de la région. Uzès nous a particulièrement plu. Le gîte est bien équipé et décoré avec beaucoup de goût. Il est possible de manger dehors et il y a un grand parasol .Laëtitia et son mari sont toujours disponibles en cas de besoin Il y a une épicerie au village pour faire quelques courses sinon il y a des supermarchés dans les villes proches .L'endroit idéal pour passer de très bonnes vacances .

Très agréable séjour dans cette belle location au sein d'une magnifique propriété. Super agréable accueil de nos hôtes, qui sont très sympathiques et disponibles pour toutes questions. La location est très bien équipée et aménagée avec beaucoup de goût. Nous avons apprécié la piscine et le jacuzzi ainsi que le magnifique espace extérieur. Nous reviendrons sûrement.

Wunderschönes Haus auf dem Land

Das Haus liegt am Rand des kleinen Örtchens auf einem sehr großen, wunderschönen Grundstück. Die Vermieter wohnen nebenan im Haupthaus und sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit, aber auch sehr dezent. Man kann sowohl am Haus auf einer sehr schön gestalteten Sitzecke relaxen oder direkt am Pool. Das Ferienhaus selbst bietet alles, was man braucht und ist ideal für 4 Personen. Auch die Einrichtung hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Auch wenn Saint-Marcel-de-Careiret etwas abseits liegt, was man ja vorher weiß, war es ein toller, ruhiger Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge. Wir waren am Pont du Gard, in Avignon, am Ardèche und der Höhle Chauvet 2 sowie in Aigues-Mortes und Le-Grau-du-Roi. Es gibt aber natürlich noch so viel mehr zu erkunden (Orange, Nîmes, Uzès, Aven l'Orgnac usw.). Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt es in einem kleinen Laden im Ort oder dann im nächstgrößeren Bagnols-sur-Cèze. Wir werden den tollen Garten und das schöne Haus vermissen, es war ein rundum gelungener Urlaub! Merci!

Séjour merveilleux à Saint-Marcel-de-Careiret

On a passé un séjour merveilleux dans le gîte de Laetitia et Thierry. L’accueil était très chaleureux. Le gîte est parfaitement équipé, decoré avec soin et très prope. La piscine et le grand jardin étaient fantastiques pour les enfants. Rien nous a manqué!

Fantastic property with welcoming host

We loved everything about our stay here, kicked off in style by Laetitia's warm welcome. The house had everything we needed (and more) to make our stay absolutely perfect. We felt completely relaxed and at home, and loved wandering the beautiful garden, and chilling by the pool. At the end of long days out exploring the region, we could simply come 'home' and relax. We would thoroughly recommend, and definitely return again
