This Vrbo was perfect for a quick girls trip! The host was wonderful and very commutative. It was not the cleanest place if you have higher standards of cleanliness.
We really enjoyed our stay here. Great location, safe, off street parking, and in a nice neighborhood. Only consideration and perhaps I overlooked this, but the apartment is not handicapped accessible since everything is located on the second floor which requires you to climb a flight of stairs. Property owner is awesome and very accommodating! Great experience!

This was the best experience! I went for a quick trip for a work event for Mardi Gras. Courtney is a fantastic host. She was very accomodating, generous, and made sure everything went smoothly for us. The place was perfect (cleaniness, location, comfort, decor, etc.) I will definitely choose this place again for any future trips and hopefully can stay longer next time.

This is a beautiful above garage apt unit with all the amaneities and the host went above and beyond!
Once you climb the stairs you enter a big, bright living/dining area and kitchen. The bedroom and bathroom are also bright and clean. You can easily walk to a wide choice of restaurants on Freret Street. We walked to the St. Charles streetcar to travel within New Orleans. Courtney was very responsive when we had a problem connecting to the WiFi. We appreciated having off-street parking for our car.
We had a very enjoyable time staying at this location. The neighborhood was quiet and the property had side street parking with not a lot of car travel through the area. We immediately felt safe here which was important to us. The living space is above a garage so you enter and go up a flight of stairs. It was clean, spacious, and provided plenty of amenities to make for a comfortable stay. The addition of a washer and dryer was a definite plus. The property owner, Courtney, gave detailed info prior to arrival and was easy to contact when needed. She was very pleasurable.
I had a quick work trip and was able to book easily. The host Courtney was awesome, sent me great check in info and local info upon my questions. Place was clean and spacious, off street parking was a plus. Bed was a little squeaky BUT SUPER comfy so I didn’t mind. Only thing that may have been nice but not a must because I Had to get up early is some bedroom curtains for the morning sun. But hey, it’s bright and cheery and lovely to wake up to a Nola morning. Great experience!
Courtney was super friendly leading up to our arrival and the unit was super clean and quiet. It’s about a 15 minute drive to the French Quarter and just about two blocks to some good eating places. HIGHLY recommend checking out Dat Dog, Good Bird, and D.P. Dough. They are all right on the same block. Also Walmart is about a ten minute drive if you forgot any essentials.
Courtney thank you so much for being one of the highlights of our trip. We will be back and booking with you again.
Overall the stay was very nice, we did have some issues with the toilet not working for our stay and we weren’t able to get ahold of the owner until after we left.
That being said we only stayed one night and she was in a different time zone. She did respond very promptly when she found out about our situation and sent the maintenance guy immediately.
Great area tho! We had lots of fun walking around, grabbing coffee and dinner!
Stayed at this property because it is very close to Tulane University. Arrived on Saturday evening with my daughter and my sister. On Sunday morning we walked to Magazine Street to have breakfast at Ruby Slipper Ruby Slipper Cafe. It was a very hot walk and found out you can get a 3 day Jazzy Pass for $8.00 so we took the bus back to the house. This is good for the bus and the street car. This is how we got around New Orleans for the rest of our trip. Dropped my daughter off on Sunday at Tulane for a 2 week summer program. My sister and I stayed for 3 more nights. The location of this property is fantastic. We were within walking distance to many restaurants and food market. We walked to Bearcat Cafe Uptown for a yummy breakfast. We walked to Sarita's Grill for delicious Mexican food and Ancora Pizzeria which has one of the best pizza I have ever had. This property is within walking distance of the street car and many buses. We used our pass multiple times throughout the day, mostly going to the French Quarter and back. We took the afternoon cruise on the Natchez Steamboat. We did not opt to eat on the boat as we went to Cafe Du Monde afterwards. Our last day we went on a pontoon bayou tour in Jean Lafitte National Park. I would recommend this property. The only negative thing I could say is there aer a couple of holes in the owner's backyard fence and their dog got out a couple of times.
Courtney was a great host; sent me check-in info and then offered to be further available as-needed. The apartment is cute; perfect size for 2 people and certainly big enough for 4 to comfortably stay. The kitchen was stocked with some cooking spices, coffee, and actual cookware (not random or flimsy stuff) and the beds were comfortable. Less than 5 min walk to Freret street and less than 10 to the Rouse’s. Street parking was also super easy and the block was quiet. Would def stay here again.
I had a fantastic stay at this VRBO property! The location was ideal and just a short walk to Loyola and Tulane, with plenty of great restaurants and cafes on Freret Street nearby. The home was clean, spacious, and well-maintained, with excellent kitchen facilities that made meal prep easy. The owner was incredibly nice and communicated well throughout my stay, ensuring everything was seamless. Highly recommend for anyone visiting New Orleans and looking for a comfortable, convenient place to stay!
Everything about the apartment was exactly as described. Location very convenient to dining, coffee, drinks and grocery store. Very cute neighborhood with plenty of east street parking.
We had a great stay at Courtney's place. It was walking distance from cute restaurants and shops on Freret and only a mile from Tulane, where we were visiting my daughter. The house was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Courtney is super nice and easy to communicate with. We will definitely stay again.
The Lair was the perfect place for my son and me to stay while visiting New Orleans at Christmastime. The place was spotless, the beds were comfy and it was outfitted to have everything we could possibly need. Thanks to our host, we had the perfect Christmas with my daughter who lives just a few minutes away.

I’m a single mother of three young girls. I love adventure and traveling as much as I can....hiking, camping, running and tennis. I’m in love with my City: it’s music, food, eclectic people and the way it celebrates living.
Why they chose this property
I’ve completely furnished this apartment with short term renters in mind. Bed is super comfy, very plush, with crisp linens. Living area is cozy and clean. You’ll love the location too.
