About this property

Lake Views that Will Take Your Breath Away!

This spacious 1800 sq ft three bedroom, two bathroom single story house has accommodations for 6 to 8 people.

It is located on the southern shore of Lake DeSoto in the resort community of Hot Springs Village. It has a fantastic lake front location which results in a panoramic view of Lake DeSoto. We have enhanced the natural drainage channel that runs from the woods to the lake at the side of the property by adding a pump to make it a relaxing babbling brook that you can enjoy in the evening on the deck or dock.

Swimming, fishing, boating, and hiking are all at your fingertips. For the golfers in your group, the number and quality of the Hot Springs Village golf courses is legendary.

As can be seen from the photos, landscaping features Encore Azaleas which bloom throughout the year! The house comes with three kayaks, a pedal boat , life jackets and water toys/floats. The large boat/swimming dock can accommodate your boat or one of our pontoon boat which is available for rental by our guests.

The house is easily reached from the main entrance to the Village, being just off of DeSoto Blvd and only about three miles into the Village. The Spa town of Hot Springs is less than half an hour away and offers many sights and attractions. These include art galleries, antique shops, museums, botanical gardens, amusement park, horse racing at Oaklawn Park, etc., etc. A wealth of interesting recreational opportunities.

This property is located only a few doors down the street from one of our other Village rental house on Castellon Drive, which can sleep 8-10 people. See VRBO listing 134164. Our third Lake DeSoto waterfront property is a four bedroom/four bathroom house that sleeps 8-12. It has a great lake view! See VRBO listing 191874. Ask about our package deals for large groups that require multiple houses at once! In the summer, June through August, we rent with a one week minimum, Saturday to Saturday.

We have pontoon boats, aka party barge, for hire by our renters. Please inquire for details.

Beautiful view of the lake, great for morning coffee on the porch. Had a great time with the kiddo’s on the paddle boat and kayaking! Beds were very comfortable and the homes layout had tons of room!

The are was well kept...great choices close....didnt get a chance to try the golf course because of the weather but definitely will look inside the resort area next time to do that

Second time we stayed here. We love everything about this place. It’s convenient to local stores, close to Hot Springs and it’s on the water. It’s very comfortable and well laid out. We will return!

Great view!

The lake was very peaceful. We loved being able to swim right off the dock. When we weren’t swimming we spent all of our time on the large wrap around deck enjoying the view.

We had a nice stay and the property is as described in the photos and listing. The lake views and lake access are wonderful. The only issues we had were that the dishwasher and garbage disposal were not functioning.

What a relaxing stay in Hot Springs!

This place was exactly as previously reviewed. Immaculate. Amazing view of the lake on the huge balcony overlooking it. Peaceful and beautiful lake sunsets and night sky watching. Clean and the sleep number mattress was a huge plus. Thank you for having us. 20 minute scenic drive to Oaklawn Park and the bath houses.

Cozy and comfortable

We stayed over the Thanksgiving weekend. The home is lovely and open. While it rained most of the time we were there, we still enjoyed spending some relaxation time inside. The kitchen is well stocked with any cooking tools you could need. Cor was responsive and helpful, and even recommended a great place for us to enjoy Thanksgiving dinner. Would love to come back in the summer!

Great Outside But..

This review is hard because this rental is such a mixed bag. The owner was very nice. The outside space and view are definitely worth the price, but the outside furniture is uncomfortable and falling apart. The house is spacious, but it is not well maintained and only surface level clean. The bed was comfortable. Kitchen is well stocked but appliances are old and unreliable.

Great location!

We’ve stayed at this property many many times and another one of Cor’s houses as well! He’s always been great to deal with, quick to respond when needed. I will say just to be upfront and honest it might be time to upgrade a few of the house appliances, the side of the fridge was rusty and the vent hood was quite dirty and it kinda gross my wife out.some. Dishwasher gave us some issues but Cor was all over that like a fat man on a cheesecake! We did feel the cleaning crew could do a better job on a few things but this is not way made our experience any worse. We love this location and dealing with Cor is always a joy! We even got to meet his wife in town at the art gallery and she was just wonderful as well.

Nice size house. Plenty of room for 6 adults and two kids. Comfy beds, plenty of parking, we had 4 vehicles. Great communication with owner. Great location! Beautiful view of the lake. Kayaks, canoe and paddle boat was so fun. Nice dock to fish on. Peaceful and quiet except for our laughter. Porch is huge and great for family game time.

We had a great experience. Check in was easy and went very smoothly. The house was exactly as advertised and very clean. We had an issue with the dish washer, but Cor worked to fix it immediately. The kitchen appliances all work well. I am sure most people don't like to cook on vacation, but I do. It would be helpful to have a large fry pan, instead of the small ones.

Everything was breathtaking we just celebrated our wedding anniversary of four years, and it could not have been any perfect my husband grilled we use the canoe. We even sat out on the boat. It was great. Would love to come visit the same exact place every year.
