We were very disappointed that the hot tub was not in working order as the highlight of a winter ski stay for our family is to visit in the hot tub while discussing the day of skiing. We regard a hot tub amenity to be essential when selecting lodging for our ski in/ski out location.

Great house for our ski trip. Very clean and easy check in/out process. Had to walk uphill some to get to slopes, but would probably have been true ski in/out earlier in the season with more snow on the roads. Would definitely rent again

Loved our vacation! We had 11 people. It was comfortable. My only criticism is the living room is a little small for that many people. Location was great for skiing. Condo had everything we needed.

Awesome views of the Lake

Home is beautifully decorated and has all one needs after a great day of skiing (hot tub, views, kitchen is fully stocked to include coffee - thank you!). We enjoyed the beautiful sunrises each morning over the lake! While it claims to be Ski-in/Ski-out, it really is not Ski Out. You have to walk about 100 yards to get to the Musical Chair lift. You can almost ski in to the house if the Chapel run is open from Musical Chair. All in all great trip to our first visit to Schweitzer Mountain!

This was a wonderful home to stay in! Super close to the run that brought us to the lift, and the way home was even easier. The home was very clean and had everything you would need to enjoy your stay. The smart tv was easy enough to navigate amd we watched the Olympics. The village was close, just a walk up the hill- or we dropped each other off with the rental car. The village was fantastic! It was a great stay.

Fabulous view of the lake!

We loved the fabulous view that greets you every morning. We loved the comfort for families in all the rooms. We loved the well-stocked kitchen. And we loved the proximity to The Village and being not too far of a drive down to Sandpoint. Great vacation destination!

Nice stay!

Very nice home! Love the views especially from the living room and the hot tub. Five minute walk to Schweitzer Village although things there were very quiet in May - definitely the shoulder season there. Just a 15 minutes drive down to Sandpoint for shopping and restaurants. Thanks.

Beautiful Place

Beautiful place and great location. The unit is ideal for large families and friends. Our family and friends were looking forward to all the amenities of the unit. Unfortunately, the hot tub wasn't working the first night and management worked on it the next day and couldn't get it to heat up. So, our party wasn't able to use the hot tub after some hard days of skiing. We couldn't find remotes to work the tv as well for some of our party to watch a sporting event. All and all great place!

The home was well furnished with pots and pans and flatware and silverware etc. There were spices available for us to use, which is so nice to have when you arrive. We do wish VACASA would have had a better inventory of what the house furnished so we could have avoided bringing certain kitchen items. We also asked VACASA a few times when we were trying to book the home as to the exact location and we never seemed to get a straight answer. Oh well, the location was great and the house was perfect for my family. Rent this house.

Schweitzer Mountain Retreat

The house is beautifully decorated and the kitchen is the best equipped we've experienced. The view is amazing. The house does not have air conditioning and the ventilation is poor unless you open the back door and the garage door. Also not many of the windows open so your choices of using the cool air of the evening are limited. Otherwise we thought everything was great. We worried about being 20 miles out of town but that proved not to be a problem. This time of year, there isn't much going on on the mountain and there is a lot of construction traffic beginning about 6:00 am every morning. We also had very noisy neighbors next to us for two evenings.

Great location on the mountain

Right next to the ski resort, perfect for a ski vacation. House had great amenities, fully stocked kitchen that made cooking all of our meals easy. Comfortable beds and couches. We fit 9 adults without feeling overcrowded. Our only suggestion is providing a recycling guide. We would happily stay here again!

This is a beautifully appointed property with awesome lake and mountain views.

We loved our stay! The house was very well equipped and plenty of room for all of us. Love the open floor plan that lends itself so well to wonderful family time. Shoulder Season Getaway

The weather cooperated and this was a great place to enjoy our vacation. The large kitchen was well stocked with spices and utensils for all your cooking needs. Sandpoint is only 20 minutes away. Nice hiking trails. The view of the lake is spectacular. The jacuzzi is awesome.

Very clean and well equipped. Great location. Would stay here again. Comfortable beds. Nice bathrooms etc. Only suggestion is better directions. The address was difficult to find and mapped incorrectly. Also the house number isn’t very obvious from the outside. We spent 45 minutes driving around trying to find the correct street.

Cozy Cabin in a Winter Wonderland
