Cabin #3 2 bedroom cabin right on the water

We have two cabins adjacent to each other for rent. This cabin has two bedrooms with one queen and two twins and a double. One bathroom with a shower. A firepit and dock for your outdoor use. There is a great screened-in porch to use in the evening. This cabin is located on the Radisson flowage and is great for fishing, kayaking, swimming, or paddleboarding. We are located on a peninsula at the end of a dead-end road with privacy. The property is also adjacent to the famous Tuscobia Trail for ATV/UTV use. We also offer kayak rentals if interested.

This was just what we were looking for - a quiet cabin on a pretty lake surrounded by nature. There are no buildings spoiling the view, and the kayaking, stargazing and birding were wonderful. We loved the dock and screened in porch. Great water pressure in the shower. We didn't need a/c but it was nice to know we could've reached for it if needed.

The property manager is AMAZING! She's very engaged and you can tell she cares about your stay and time there. The cabin is clean and well stocked. There are so many wonderful little creatures you can see from your cabin such as rabbits and chipmunk! Thank you for a wonderful time.

Northern Woods getaway

We had a great week as a family of 5 in cabin 3! Great location close enough to get to your favorite places like Windfall lake, downtown Hayward, Hayward city beach, Lakewood cafe in Winter for breakfast and a bunch of great little fishing spots! The steaks from Whiskey Ridge were awesome! Shannon was very friendly and accommodating, overall great experience!

Relaxing!

Talk about R&R! We were looking for somewhere peaceful to unwind, and this was the place! Scenery was beautiful, area was quiet! Great Get Away

The location was great. Nice and quiet. The cabin had what we needed and enough room for our family of 4 + Dog. We grilled, hung out on the screened in porch and enjoyed the fire pit. Shannon was such a great host before we booked, after we booked and while we were at the lake. The rowboat worked well for the kids and us to explore the lake.

Anniversary trip

It was very relaxing. Weather helped alot, but the cabin was cozy, being next to a trail was perfect for letting us go walking with our 2 dogs and get them some energy used up. The host was amazing, love her. She was very supportive, communitative, even sent us to a very well know and amazing fishing charter. 10/10 would go back!

Wonderful relaxing getaway

Nice little cabin directly at the river. The cabin is well equipped and has everything you need. Some furniture and also the bed were new with comfortable mattress, we slept very good. We enjoyed the outdoors, BBQ, fire pit, and the stunning sunrises in the morning from the dock. The owners are very nice and friendly people and respond very fast to questions. They ensure that you have a wonderful stay. We would definitely rent this place again.

Peaceful retreat

Shannon was wonderful to work with! She was super prompt and attentive to anything we needed. The cabin was super charming, quiet and views of the water were the picture of tranquility. We wanted a few days of some R&R and that exactly what we we got. We brought our dog along who loved swimming and enjoyed riding in the row boat. We would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking to get away for a few days and only 2.5 hours out of the Twin Cities! Thanks Shannon for the wonderful hospitality during our stay!

Great Lake Cabin in the North Woods

Very peaceful cabin on the lake (Chippewa River- Radisson flowage). Cabin is steps away from the water. Shannon (the owner) was accessible and helpful. (She told me to be careful walking at night due to bears and sure enough we saw a mamma and three cubs down the road as we drove to the store. Then again, I had a bear pounding on my garage door in Northern IL a few years ago.) Very nice cabin with room for at least five people. Everything we needed was there. One suggestion. Get whatever you need before 9pm. The closest place serving food after 9pm is a McDonalds that’s 40 mins away.

Quiet, beautiful location with fishing, ATV, biking, hiking and pet friendly

We enjoyed memorial day weekend in this remote cabin 1 2 bedrooms with a screened in porch (it normally rains this weekend every year) we used the dock to hold our small fishing boat had a campfire as they supplied wood near the picnic table. There was a charcoal grill and small john boat you could use. We did use the bike/atv/dog/hiking trail right off the end of the driveway. The cabin was clean and Marc and Shannon were very friendly and helpful. We forgot towels and they let us use four of theirs so we didn't have to drive to Hayward that 1st day. It has the best view of the sunrise each morning. We brought both dogs-and it was very pet friendly. I have paid much more to stay near hayward and ended up overcrowded resorts or campgrounds where your looking in the neighbor cabins window with no views. We will stay again in the future.

Relaxing Vacation

We had a very great time on our 5 night stay at the cabin. Everything was clean and beds were made. They provide alot more than they say they do. Bathroom items, kitchen items and even outdoor stuff for the grill was there if you ran out. The owners are very easy to work with and super friendly. I will definitely go back again next summer for some much needed R&R. Thanks Shannon for all you did!

Friendly and prompt responses

Our host, Shannon was super friendly and helpful answering all our questions and concerns. As seniors we needed extra help with operating the TV...not once but twice. She quickly assisted with a smile. She provided helpful local info as well. We enjoyed meeting her and found cabin 3 to fit our needs for meeting family members and visiting friends/family living in the area. We would highly recommend as we enjoyed morning walks as well as watching loons every day. Campfire with s'mores and catching frogs was the highlight for our great Granddaughter (age 7). Overall a quiet and clean place with an excellent, friendly hostess!

Shannon was great! We definatly enjoyed our stay. I have no complaints. The property is close to the water and has a small drop off to the water. I would advise anyone with small children or crawling babies to consider the implications of this before renting. We really needed to keep extra close watch on both my little ones. Other than that it was as expected and we had a great weekend stay here!

We had a great time in cabin #3 at The Point Resort! Our hostess, Shannon, was so nice and checked in on us when we got there to make sure we had everything we needed and to answer any questions we had. The cabin was neat and very cozy. The view was fabulous and it was so peaceful. A great place for us to unwind and catch-up with each other.

Weekend getaway.

Though the fishing was not so good, we still enjoyed our stay very much. The usage of the boat was our favorite part, but also loved the coziness of the cabin, the scenery, and the firepit.

Welcome to a little taste of heaven! These cabins are a perfect getaway. You can choose between two wonderful cabins unique of their own. Each cabin has their own private dock for you to bring a boat or use to jump off. The swimming is great along with the fishing. The Radisson Flowage is from the same water as the Chippewa Flowage. You can find walleye, bass, and musky IF you try hard enough. The views are amazing!!!! Be prepared to relax......
