This home is our largest unit located in a 2-unit building & situated on front portion of the second level + the entire third level Features include 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, sleeping accommodations for 8 guests (6 adults MAXIMUM for all-adult groups), whole-home air conditioning, & 2 full floors of water frontage! We are located in the heart of Mission Beach, steps to Mission Bay Sport and Aquatic Center, and walking distance to the Ocean, numerous shops, restaurants, & entertainment!
GROUND LEVEL (parking + main entrance) Parking includes an attached garage with tandem parking for 2 compact vehicles or 1 longer vehicle, approximate dimensions 33' Long x 7' High x 7' Wide. Note – additional overnight street parking is permitted at no fee (please read signage for street sweeping!) and there are public parking lots near Belmont Park. Off the garage is a door to directly access the unit, as well as alternate front door located on the side of the building.
SECOND LEVEL (main living area – faces the bay) Stairs will lead you from the ground level to the light & airy second level featuring soaring 20' ceilings with large patio sliding doors and vaulted windows on the ceiling allow for lots of natural sunlight. The patio features bar high seating so you can take in all the views of the boardwalk, sand, water, & fireworks during certain seasons. The open floorplan main living area includes water views from all areas and includes a kitchen with beautiful quartz countertops and new cabinets. Off the kitchen is a dining nook, mounted flat screen tv, sofa, & 2 additional lounge chairs.
THIRD LEVEL (2 bedrooms + 2 bathrooms) A small set of stairs will lead you to the third level that houses both bedrooms and bathrooms. The relaxing master retreat is located in the “loft” area that directly faces the water (please note there are privacy curtains at the entrance to the loft area). The master includes a mounted TV, King size bed with lay-down water views. Off the hallway directly behind the master loft is a full bathroom (tub/shower combo) + stackable washer/dryer. Further down the hallway is another restroom (tub/shower combo) and entrance to our oversized Bedroom 2. This spacious room houses a Full over Full sized bunk bed set as well as a Twin over Twin bunk bed set, tv, & outdoor balcony.

If your group is all adults, then all guests must meet our minimum age of 30 (exceptions made for multigenerational families). • Occupancy | Maximum occupancy refers to the number of people allowed in the home at any given time (i.e. includes both overnight guests & non-overnight visitors), some of which may be mandated by certain regulations. Beautiful views and love the amount of sun beaming into the living area! Easy access to bay and beach and quick walk yo amazing coffee at better buzz! Our only real conplaint is just that the people below you must be able to hear footsteps very easy because they filed a noise complaint when we were in bed by 7pm but up at 4am but only drinking coffee. But still amazing house, location and views so totally worth it!
This property is a mess. We reached around 9PM and found that the garage keypad is broken and it’s the only way to gain access. Fortunately the side door for the garage was broken and we were able to get in. We tried reaching out to the property management company but because we called late, it reached their after hours support and they never attended our call, at least they replied to text messages. All the entry doors are broken and not secure. Floor is stinky and can’t even walk bare foot inside. There is not even a vacuum cleaner available at property. Only one TV works and all bathrooms are half broken. I will not recommend this property to anyone.
Amazing views of the bay and perfect place to stay over Memorial Day weekend. Short walk to the Beach with good resturants close by. Would definitelybstay again.

The location was hard to beat! Beautiful views of the bay and a short walk to the ocean beach! Bed was very comfortable and well decorated. Would come back!
We stayed at this property because it could accommodate the 4 teens in our group. The views of the bay and the walkway just outside the property are outstanding. We had one minor issue and it was responded to and cared for very quickly. We also enjoyed the walk to the beach and restaurants in the neighborhood. The garage parking is tight but I think all parking in this neighborhood is the same. The house was stocked very well and even had some spices, and foil and Saran wrap which was nice. The teens also enjoyed the beach gear.

Great condo and location. Updated interior, comfortable beds, great view! We loved being on the bay as it is much quieter than the beach side. Very short walk across the street to get to the ocean side though which was fun also.

Cute, Clean, Equipped
Cute place, super clean and nicely equipped. The location is amazing right on the water and boardwalk, we like the calmer/quieter bay side. We're already booking for next year!!!
Unit was clean and as described. Two parking spots were great. Love the location. Great options for eating within walking distance. The only complaint would be you can hear noise from the other unit. I was on a work zoom and had to mute myself as the other unit was being cleaned and was disrupting the meeting, it was so loud. There isn’t really anything that can be done about this and did not impact our stay. I would stay again. Thanks for a great stay!

What you see is what you get! The property is well appointed and has everything you need! Nicely decorated, comfortable and the location can’t be beat. Just minutes away walking distance to the ocean, restaurants, and shopping! Lots of things to do …biking, paddle boarding etc. Highly recommend!

This was a beautiful location. Parking was okay, we had a Suburban and need to a little help to get in and out because we had neighbors in that garage. There was no parking available in the close-by park. They only had around 15 parking sport you were allowed to park all night, and they were occupied the entire time. You are within walking distance of eateries and entertainment, less than 2 min. walking distance to the Oceanside.

We wanted a place on the beach, had parking, and close to the ocean. It is within walking distance to water toy rentals: jet ski, boats, kayaks, sail boats and such. We had a suburban car rental so the garage parking was tight but we fit. The rental is on the top 2 floors. The deck overlooks the lower units deck and we could hear the 2 year old in the unit below us. So, privacy was not as high as I would have liked. The kitchen could be stocked better for cooking/eating in the unit, but we survived and were able to make some home cooked meals for our Navy son. Dining space is for 4 people which made it tight for meals. But the price and location made it worth it. We were on the beach all day. Very clean, nicely decorated, and comfortable beds.

- The #1 reason we rented this unit is the view depicted on the listing. The pictures of view in the listing are not accurate. The parking lot - prominent in the view looking straight out from the unit- is blocked in the listing This realization upon arrival made us feel tricked. I’ve rented many vacation homes over the years and have never had this experience, especially for $900 a night all-in. A sentence like the following would have been helpful: “Photos of view from unit show bay to the right while standing on balcony.”
- Also, pictures of chairs in living area and kitchen area are inaccurate.
- There was no response (four day stay) to our questions about these items (e.g., “Where are the chair cushions? Can the grill be moved to other side of patio so as not to block the best views?”) I emailed again on day three and mgt team said, “We thought you already checked out.”
- Bunkbeds are best for kids. Not uber-sturdy. (That is - for kids who won’t fall down the stairs since this place has a lot of stairs.

Great location, unit has cleanliness, maintenance and noise issues
The location is great, if you know what you are getting into for this neighborhood. You can access the beach easily, walk to most all amenities and many restaurants.
Both units in the house were evidently just renovated and the result is that windows and nooks are not properly cleaned (looks like thy rushed to put it on the market in the Thanksgiving/Christmas seasons).
When we checked in, we found coffee/water stains on the kitchen counters (yellow), crumbs on the floor, but the rest of the layout was quaint and the space/layout was nice enough.
We also discovered a pretty significant leak in the skylight, with pooling water on furniture and floors in the master bedroom, which would not have been noticeable, had it not rained. That was an inconvenience, but out of the way enough that we addressed with a bucket.
When we went to go to bed, we found hair on both pillows in the master bed and pulled the sheets to find that they had clearly not been cleaned or replaced since the last person(s) slept there.
When we rented the property, the owner representatives were clearly concerned by how many occupants we would have (3) and whether or not we would have guests and how many (no, none). This came up several times.
So you can imagine our surprise, the evening of our second night when we heard the party that rented the other unit come into the house around 10pm, with toddlers several children and adults. There were 8 or 9 of them, with two cars, one blocking our exit (the garage is a tandem configuration). Now the owners and managers cannot account for people being inconsiderate, but in speaking to them, it was clear that they had not been as stringent with these occupants as they had been with us, regarding how many people would be in the unit. Which brings us to the next issue. There is no insulation or noise mitigation in this house. You can hear conversations like you are in the same room as the occupants of the other unit. Needless to say we called and emailed the manager with all of our concerns. The response was adequate, even though this was over Christmas, however, little was done to correct anything. I will point out that we asked to deal with the leak after we left. We were promised some type of compensation for the aggravation, but that never substantiated and our recourse will be to never rent from this management company again. That's too bad for their owners.

We immediately addressed the guests concerns. We have used the same superb housekeeping service for years and get amazing positive comments from guests regarding cleanliness. We offered to send housekeeping back onsite even though our team had inspected the home prior to your arrival and found nothing of the sort that you mentioned below; guest did not respond.
Sometimes in the beach area some noise may be heard from neighboring units, though our neighbors are very nice long term residents & respectful of the surrounding occupants. Nonetheless, we called the neighboring guest after receiving the complaint; the neighbors were just as confused as they were in bed.
Future guests will be pleased to know the minor skylight leak was repaired immediately upon guests departure (as per the guest’s request).
We invite future guests to view all our amazing reviews; we are not only a management company but also have rentals of our own, pride ourselves on guest service, & are proud VRBO members since 2012!

Beautiful Place, Great Location
We loved staying here. The biggest benefit I'd say to staying on the bay side is how quiet it is but the beach is just a block away! I'd recommend this place to anyone wanting close access to everything in a great location!
Perfect location in Mission Beach. Great view of the bay to wake up to. Paddle boards and kayaks available to rent nearby. Quick walk to the beach. Nice breakfast place, Olive’s, nearby. Grocery store about a mile away. We brought surf boards but kids used boogie boards and sand toys that were available at the property. Nice to have garage parking that was able to fit our truck. Place was clean and had everything available that we needed. Bunk beds allowed great sleeping arrangements for our 3 kids. Master bedroom has the most comfortable bed ever! Would definitely recommend and stay there again.

Perfect spot on the bay!
My family had a great time staying at this home! It was so beautiful waking up to the sun and water right in front of us through the loft windows. Our two children under the age of 3 slept in the bunk bedroom and it worked perfectly for us. I was impressed with the fully stocked kitchen and there were plenty of extra towels, blankets and pillows. The only two downsides were the ants in the kitchen (which I know comes with the territory but there was no ant spray or any deterrent) and when we arrived, the temperature was 90 degrees in the house. It was a heat wave in SD but if we had arrived later than the 3 check- in, we wouldn't have been able to sleep as it took almost the rest of the evening to lower to a bearable temperature.
We loved the close proximity to the Olive Cafe (right around the corner) and Better Buzz. And. of course, having the bay right in front was perfect. Being close to the grass was also nice, though beware of the bees that hang out in it.
