Very cute place that was perfect for our weekend with our dogs. A little farmers market was going on across the street when we got there and we enjoyed some fresh fruit and vegetables. The home had all we needed to cook and enjoy our meals. The home was close to hiking trails that we enjoyed. We would gladly stay here again! Thank you Elaine for a lovely visit and the tasty treats!

This is the most delightful place we have stayed in a long time. Lovely unit, full kitchen, gorgeous backyard to wander and relax in, Host management was hard to reach, but I'm also tricky, so played phone tag. Bed was a bit uncomfortable, but not bad. If you need a firm mattress, maybe ask for a different room. They all look charming. The beautiful poster bed was important for me. The tv area, bathroom, etc. were set up so nicely and relaxing. Reading lights were a little dim, but I'm old. There is the most amazing sky. Climb to the top of their tower to see stars as you have never seen. Also, enjoy a visit to chickens and ducks during the day. Shop for food in a good health grocery in town 10 minutes away, maximum. Also enjoy their art museum and stores. We did only stay one night because changed dates and no availability for two nights. Next visit will be 3 nights.

The Golden Getaway was right in town, full of deer to admire, and well equipped for a stay in Crestone. The apartment was clean, and Elaine was helpful and communicative. I would definitely stay there again.

Exceeded our expectations in terms of space, comfort, and quality of stay. Elaine shared detailed instructions for check-in and check-out and made the process very easy. Heads up for dog owners that the yard is not fully fenced but the area is great for walking.

Great spot

This property was incredibly comfortable, welcoming, clean and easy to visit. It was a great home base for our visit to Crestone and the surrounding area. I highly recommend it and would go back in a heartbeat.

Great place!

Weekend Getaway

Great little place. Located in the heart of town but is quiet and private. Very clean and well appointed. Nice front yard and seating area on the covered front porch. Would definitely stay again.
