Detached Modern Family Villa with Private Pool in Quiet Location Close to Beach

A fully equipped modern detached villa in Binibeca in its own grounds, with a private pool and air conditioning in all bedrooms, in a quiet location and with sea view. Casa Del Mar has a current authenticated Spanish Tourist Licence.
The beautiful beach of Binibeca has enjoyed Blue Flag status and is 650 metres away and 7 minutes walk. A 5 minute stroll will take you to several local bars and restaurants, and there are a couple of small well stocked supermarkets - which have fresh bread daily. A children's' playground is nearby, plus the bus stop giving regular service, and the local 'road train' which can easily take you to other beaches and resorts.
The Villa can sleep up to 6 and is fully furnished. It has 3 double bedrooms, two bathrooms, a large lounge/diner - which leads out to the patio - which is next to the pool so a great way for family and friends to chill out. Maybe cook on the BBQ or just laze around the pool with a cool drink and check out what the fantastic Island of Menorca can offer you. There are lots of lovely coves and beaches all around for you to explore. Great for paddling, swimming, snorkeling or just making sand castles! There is a Dive centre for scuba diving and kayak centre in the next small town - about 4 minutes walk from Binibeca beach. Or perhaps the Aqua Park near Punta Prima nearby for all ages.. You have a choice. Because Menorca is lush and green, it has lots of flowers and plants and the Island's natural beauty remains unspoilt. There are no high-rise buildings or hotels in Binibeca. Menorca is clean and tidy and at your villa the street bins are emptied daily. The Island also has lots of history, and larger towns which showcase this are easy to reach. Sant Lluis is the nearest - about 6 minutes in a car- with its famous Windmill - has fresh fish, vegetables, meat, bread, cakes...other shops... plus some great Tapas Bars and Restaurants!. It is also host to many festivals - so worth checking out what's there when you are! Closer still about 6 minutes walk from the villa, is the enchanting Binibeca Vell, a recreated fishing village. A maze of narrow streets, whitewashed walls and Moorish arches, with shops, bars and restaurants - and all traffic free. No vehicles allowed in the Village!
Mahon and Cuitadella are easy to reach and have lots of architecture, shops and walkways. Both towns have harbours and boats.
Menorcan's are friendly, polite and helpful. The Island is beautiful - and the weather is great!

Casa Del Mar was a lovely villa. Everything provided as well as thoughtful welcome pack. Spotlessly clean and all things in good working order. Would highly recommend for families as in quiet location and short stroll to Binibeca and beach.

Fantastic stay

Our first time in Menorca and this property was an excellent base from which to explore the island whilst being close to all amenities, bars, restaurants etc. The outside space was particularly good at this villa and the pool was a lovely addition to our stay.

Fantastic villa in an ideal location

Really enjoyed our stay at Casa del Mar, our kids loved the salt water pool (and spent many hours a day in the pool due to the sweltering heat), and the location is ideal - a nice quiet street close to all the amenities of Binibeca and, of course, the beach

We loved Casa del Mar's beautifully planted & spacious pool and seating area, with helpful sliding shades over the dining table and a handy bbq & clothes drying area. Perfect for comfortable pool days and eating-in evenings.

Excellent villa

This is an excellent villa in a great location. Everything was as described. The property was clean and had most things you need for a week’s holiday. The pool was nice and quite deep so great for cooling down in.

Great villa, perfect for family and friends

Clean, well appointed villa in a great location within walking distance of beach, restaurants and shops. Lovely outside area with pool and the bonus of a table football. Best of both worlds with nearby restaurants or a BBQ in the evening, relaxing at the villa. We had a wonderful first trip to Menorca and hope to return soon.

Family vacation in October

We had a fantastic time in "Casa del Mar". The house was very well equipped, the communication with Margaret & Martin was very friendly, reliable and flexible. October was a perfect month to stay in Menorca with small children.

Amazing Villa

The 5 of us all stayed at the Villa for a week and absolutely loved it. Perfect location for walking to all areas in Binibeca and also for driving to the rest of the island. Easy parking right out the front. The pool was ideal, with lots of outdoor seating surrounding. Air con was great in the bedrooms also (only useable between 8pm-8am).

Highly recommended property

We had an excellent stay at this property. It was clean and as pictured when we arrived. The outside space and the pool was amazing! The property is on a quieter street and walkable to both Cala Torret and Binibeca Vell. We didn't have any issues during our stay but communication pre-arrival was also excellent.

Peaceful location

Spotlessly clean villa in a lovely area. Easy walk to beach and a few restaurants and bars. Lovely size pool which we all enjoyed. It was good having 2 bathrooms which meant less queuing for the shower. We hired a car and also enjoyed exploring the island and the stunning virgin beaches. Would love to return again.

An ideal location on an unspoilt island

Martin and Margaret's villa in Binebeca is the ideal spot for a relaxing holiday. The house is very comfortable and well maintained, with a large pool to take the heat off when the sun is out in full force. The villa is within walking distance of quite a few good restaurants, and it is a short walk to Binebeca beach - a beautiful sandy bay with a bar serving drinks and snacks. We enjoyed a lovely week at the villa and hope to return again next year.

Wonderful stay in Binibeca Vell

Amazing location of villa, close to beautiful sandy beaches, and lovely restaurants. Short driving distance to Mahon. Villa had a wonderful pool and all the amenities including air con for the night. Villa was clean and check-in process was smooth. Suggestions for improvement: Upgrade TV with Netflix and Amazon Prime Provision of trivets/mats to keep hot pans on table Maintenance for dishwasher and descaling kettle

Lovely Property

The photos of this property do not do it justice. The villa is in a lovely location and very well kept. The only minor issue we had is that the mini resort complex opposite the villa is being refurbished and there was continual noise from the builders from 8am. However for the 2024 the works should have been completed.

Nice villa

On our arrival at the villa, we found a welcome pack with refreshments which was most appreciated. The villa was clean although a little dated as a lot of Menorcan villas are. All appliances worked well. The outside was lovely with many seating areas. Pool was spotless clean which we enjoyed very much. Short walking distance to small supermarket, restaurants and beach. There is a small complex in front of the villa but at no time did we hear any noise from it, in fact we were lucky that the surrounding villas were vacant at the time of are stay so we enjoyed a very peaceful vacation.

Perfect get away

Thank you for having us stay we had a really fantastic holiday. Firstly we were delayed so we’re hugely grateful for your welcome pack with water and essentials. The Villa very clean and spacious with air con in all rooms which made sleeping very comfortable. The pool was better than expected and size was really lovely as we had two18 year olds and a 16 year old to entertain. Lovely location with near by beach and shop for all your essentials. Communication with Margaret before and during the stay was spot on so I thank you for that. The information pack at the villa was well appreciated. We would definitely stay again but for longer next time.

Fantastic Family Villa

We had the most wonderful stay at Casa Del Mar. The booking process was extremely easy and communication from Margaret was very thorough and informative. Everything was outlined and easy to follow. Margaret went above and beyond for us. Casa Del Mar is a stunning villa, clean, comfortable, beautifully located in a small village that has all the amenities near by. Fantastic beaches are just walk away and some local town in a small proximity. We love how spacious and open plan the villa is, it has made it perfect stay for our family. The pool is very good size and shape for small kids (ours are 7 and 5). We would definitely be coming back and will be recommending Casa Del Mar to our friends and family. Perfect for a relaxing holiday

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Del Mar. We were greeted by a lovely welcome pack and felt at home as soon as we had unpacked! The villa was well equipped and comfortable and we particularly enjoyed the swimming pool which was perfect when you needed to cool off! We also made good use of the BBQ and enjoyed eating out by the pool. It was an easy walk to the shops and there were plenty of great restaurants to choose from. The beach in Binibeca is lovely with a beach bar, water sports and a lovely sandy beach. The resort is very pretty and we found it peaceful at night which just what we needed. We hired a car and found plenty of other superb beaches and enjoyed the market and sights of Mahon. Thank you Martin and Margret for giving us a such a lovely place to stay. We didn't want to leave and will hopefully come back again soon.

Lovely relaxing week

Lovely property in great location. V clean, well equipped. Only comment is the plastic glasses are not what I expected Yes around the pool expect them to be used, but with a nice glasses of wine over dinner a plastic glass which is cloudy from wear is not what I wanted. Had to wash them all on arrival as some looked dirty but it may have just been the wear you get with these type over time. All in all fantastic villa and great time had

Beautiful Casa del Mar

We loved our first visit here in July and have been lucky enough to re-visit the lovely Casa del Mar again two and a half months later. Happy to find it is just as beautifully clean and well kept as the previous visit. Gardens laid just before our last visit are now flourishing well and the pool, again, is fantastic. A perfect, easy, relaxing holiday. Thank you to Martin and Margaret Wright for the special touches of the very useful "Welcome Pack" and especially the great Spanish music that was playing as we entered the house, to put us in the holiday mood - well done!. We also found several more good restaurants in Cala Torret and the Bodega in Binifadet is well worth a visit, and does really good lunches and dinners in a beautiful setting. The only bad thing is that we will have to wait another 9 months before we can get back there again!!. Kind Regards, Denise & Dave Rickard

Easy living house with fabulous pool and good location

We were 2 adults and 2 kids staying for 1 week in mid July. The welcome pack was very very welcome! Most generous and thoughtful one we have come across. Very pleasantly surprised at the comfortable temperature of the pool and the salt water was lovely. We got a lot of use out of it even after spending the day at a beach! And the football table was great too! The air conditioning was needed. We had a good stay... We went to a few different beaches and went to a guitar concert in Mao and enjoyed restaurants outside Binibequer (Loved Salitre in Cala Torret for its particularly interesting menu and genuinely friendly staff). Our flights home were in the early evening so we used the Splash waterpark for our last day... left our bags in the car and used the nice clean showers there before going to the airport! We have never stayed in the same place twice but would definitely consider Casa del Mar again!

Perfect villa

Just returned from a weeks holiday . The villa really is lovely very clean and very well maintained. Everything we needed was available. 6 of us went for half term break, unfortunately many of the restaurants and shops nearby had closed for the winter. We were forewarned this may be the case by the owners of the villa. We decided to hire cars so that we could go to neighbouring areas. Managed to find a brilliant car hire firm online in Mahon called Sol cars. We emailed them on the Sunday and got an immediate reply saying they would deliver 2 cars the following morning to our villa. No credit cards required and the price was exceptionally good. No hidden extras which we have encountered many times. Supermarket Eroskis is a 10 minute drive and has everything required at reasonable prices. The beach at Binebecca is lovely especially for children. Sea very shallow for quite a way out. The villa is in a quiet area and is very private. Pool is really nice and the football table on the balcony got a lot of use with the males in the group. Weather was very good for October. The owners were really helpful, nothing was too much trouble. I would certainly recommend the villa to anyone .

We have had lots of great holidays with children and friends in Spain and other places over the years yet Menorca always 'invited' us back. We have now both retired and thought that if we made some changes what might we be able to do - for us - for all the Family?
So we made changes and started looking. it took a time but at last we got what we wanted in October 2014. A fantastic villa in a beautiful place and just 20 minutes by car/taxi from the airport. We were impressed how peaceful the town is and how lovely the beach is for all the family to enjoy. Our children now have their own children and we knew that Menorca would provide great holidays for them also and that Binibeca would be the ideal place for all.

Why they chose this property

It took a time but at last we got what we wanted in October 2014.. A fantastic villa in a beautiful place and just 20 minutes by car/taxi the Airport. We were impressed how peaceful the town is and how lovely the beach is for all the family to enjoy. Our children now have their own children and we knew that Menorca would provide great holidays for them also - and that Binibeca would be the ideal place for all.
