There are many other small lakes, ponds, and streams close by. The property is 30 minutes from skiing at Dartmouth Ski Way, Loon Mountain or Tenney Mountain. Other ski mountains are further but reasonable driving distances. It is 20 minutes to the Connecticut River and Vermont. There are ice cream stands in Piermont, nearby Warren, and Bradford, VT, Polar Caves in Plymouth, NH and several attractions in Lincoln, NH. A full-size supermarket, pharmacy, and other services, churches, etc. are 20 minutes away in Bradford, VT or 30 minutes away in Plymouth, NH. New York is 5.5 hours, and Boston 2.5 hours by car.
