Piece of Paradise for All Seasons!!! Bring Your Boat!
Castaway Cottage is waiting for you! Come enjoy fishing and boating, or just relax with a cocktail in the screened lanai, and watch the sunset. We are on the Henley Canal, less than five minutes away from open water. Property can accommodate boats up to 18 feet.
Our pet friendly 2.5 bedroom/1 bathroom/1 outside shower home is within walking or biking (bikes provided) distance to local bars and restaurants, as well as the general store, marinas and other necessities.
Hook up to Snook, Redfish, Tarpon and more. You can drop a line right from the dock (poles provided). Paddle the canal (kayak provided), boat to the beaches of Sanibel and Captiva Islands (property can accommodate 18 foot boat; bring your own boat or rent nearby).
Do as much or as little as you like! Meet some new dolphin and manatee friends as they cruise the canal. Feed the resident catfish, go bird watching and find eagles, heron, egrets, owl and other winged island inhabitants. Encounter a coyote, boar or alligator.
If you would like to venture a bit further, the historic village of Matlacha offers art from local artists, shopping and even more bars and restaurants to explore.
