Cottage wooden chalet near Vézelay in the countryside

Chalet all wood, 2 hours south of Paris, for week end, weeks or more .. for 2 to 4 people. Change of scenery in contact with woods and nature, on a large lot, ideal for a quiet holiday.
(In high season, July and August, arrivals and departures on Saturdays only).
Privileged home owners who will give you, if you wish, all the information or documentation to make the most of your stay and the region very touristy. 'Little paradise' for lovers of hiking, mountain biking, river kayaking, or fishing, (river at 500m, La Cure, 2nd category, ponds at 12km), not to mention the gastronomy and wines regional so well known. Free internet access on the site. Rates all charges included, sheets and pillowcases provided. (open from April to November) (A la carte stays: week end, weeks, fortnight or more ...).(Rates quoted for 2 people in all seasons, extra person: 20 € / person / week).(Tourist tax: 0,40 € / night / adults). Possibility rental wk outside July and August: 139 € / 2 nights / 2 people. (additional night: 60 €) Possibility of final cleaning package: 45 €. An animal "nice accepted.Cheques accepted.

Uneingeschränkt: Jederzeit wieder!!!

Die Vermieter sind ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit, so sorgte unser Vermieter dafür, dass unser defektes Auto innerhalb kürzester Zeit repariert werden konnte. Die sechs Blockhäuser stehen mit ausreichend Abstand zu einander – Privatsphäre ist also gegeben. Alles war sauber. Die Häuschen sind gemütlich und zweckmäßig ausgestattet. Die Küche dürfte ein wenig größer sein, aber für den Urlaub ist’s ausreichend, außer man möchte mehrgängige Menüs zubereiten. Auch ein Holzkohlegrill stand zur Verfügung. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig. Man braucht in der Gegend zwar ein Auto, findet aber auch in der Nähe spannende Wandermöglichkeiten, zudem gibt es im Stundenumkreis charmante Städtchen, Dörfer und viel Raum mit wenig Menschen. Wer nicht französisch spricht, hat es zwar schwerer, aber die Einheimischen haben sich immer viel Mühe gegeben. In St. Moré und den anderen Gemeinden im näheren Umkreis gibt praktisch keine Lebensmittelläden. Der nächste Supermarkt in Avallon ist rund 20 km entfernt, in dem man über Lebensmittel hinaus fast alles in großer Auswahl bekommt, was man zum Leben braucht. Auch die bekannten Discounter wie Lidl oder Aldi sind dort leicht zu finden. Alles in allem ein gelungener und erholsamer Urlaub.

Tranquil location

Was very tranquil. During our stay very hot, we were offered air conditioning which we declined as meant more to pay and we were on a budget. I didn't realise towels not included, I don't think web site made it clear. Facilities good but shower very small for my husband who is disabled. Lovely location very convenient for site seeing and shopping.
