Welcome to Sweet Memories Movie House! Our almost 100 year old "fix up" look alike! Beautifully remodeled and furnished, our over 2100 square foot cottage offers your own PRIVATE HOME MOVIE THEATER with 8 leather recliners, surround sound and a 100 inch movie screen, game room featuring air hockey, corn in the hole and a professional free-play ARCADE GAME CONSOLE, with over 60 games like Pacman, Frogger and Centipede to name just a few! Our backyard has a covered patio and outdoor area with fountain, all decorated with lights. Our fully-stocked and remodeled kitchen boasts brand new stainless appliances, granite counters and a coffee "bar" featuring coffee maker, keurig machine, with 12 free K-cups, a coffee grinder, french press, and electric tea kettle. We have many appliances and utensils such as a blender, griddle, waffle maker, crock pot, immersion blender, wine opener, wine and margarita glasses, pitchers and all the other "essentials" you might need. We leave you plenty of dishwasher tabs, dish washing liquid, scrub sponges, trash bags, paper towels and toilet paper too. We also offer a tankless water heater so no running out of hot water here!!

All of our furniture is brand new, beds are all memory foam, furnishing include a few choice pieces from France, and several "Magnolia" decor items. We offer two large bedrooms with comfortable king beds, one of which has an adjacent bedroom with an adorable built in bunk bed, featuring a queen bed on the bottom and a twin XL on top. The kids, or young adults will love this room with it's fun ladder and personal light sconces for reading. Both beds feature Hearth and Home Magnolia Bedding by Joanna Gaines. This room is separated from the second bedroom by a cute barn door. In the game area/sun room there is also a charming twin-sized day bed. But be careful who sleeps in here! You may not be able to keep them away from the arcade game or air hockey!

ADDITIONAL BATHROOM: Upstairs in the theater, there is a 1/2 bath for your use.

We are conveniently located on Gorman Avenue in the heart of Waco just 8 minutes from the Magnolia Silos District, 8 minutes to Magnolia Table, 5 minutes from the Magnolia "little shop" on Bosque, and 9 minutes from Baylor University! Just a few minutes from downtown, Austin Avenue and prestigious Castle Heights. We are one mile away from the "Castle" that Chip & Joe just refurbished!

Technology: We offer 5G high speed wireless internet, and each of the king bedrooms feature a 42 inch Samsung HD smart flat screen TV. We feature a ROKU system on all TVs, which offers hundreds of apps that allow you to sign on with your subscription and watch all your favorites. Upstairs you can enjoy lounging in one of the 8 leather recliners in your private "movie room" . We have a 100 inch projection screen TV there which offers all the same features mentioned above. Because this room is upstairs and can get warm, we've added a separate air conditioning unit for that room alone to keep you super cool and comfortable. There is also a 1/2 bath adjacent to the movie room for your convenience.

Fun: And don't forget our fabulous FREE arcade game console! This one will really bring you back to the "good old days"! Make some memories when you challenge your kids or friends or family to game of Pacman, Centipede, Frogger, or 57 others!! These are real games just like you played in arcades years ago! Our game room also has a 5 foot air hockey table, corn in the hole, and a horseshoe and ring toss game for outside. We also offer several board games like Monopoly, Taboo, Scrabble, Yahtzee, Othello and more! Great memory makers for sure!

Outdoors: Under our cozy covered patio, you'll find a great round conversation area, small, charming fountain, and seating for 8 or more people, with hanging lights above the patio and garden area. There is a convenient pull down sun screen to block out the hot sun and a propane grill for your private use. We provide the propane! Then, under the trees, you'll find another cute fountain with 8 comfy rocking/glider chairs with lights dangling above. We designed a custom mural next to our garden for those fun "Instagram" moments! It's a truly magical setting at night. Upstairs right outside the movie room, is a fun deck with 6 rocking chairs and an umbrella. A nice place to "get away" from it all.

Practical stuff: You'll find a brand new Samsung washer and dryer for all your washing needs. Detergent, and stain remover are provided. We also have a bottle of sunscreen, and insect repellent that you are free to use. We have a first aid kit, fly swatters, and bug spray for the back yard lawn if needed. Each bathroom includes toilet paper, towels, wash cloths, shampoo, body wash, conditioner, liquid hand soap and hand lotion.

Baby stuff: For no additional charge, you'll find a pack and play, high chair and baby gate for our littlest visitors.

PARKING: Parking is available in the driveway only, and there is room for 3-4 cars/trucks.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Full refund if cancelled 60 days or more prior to check-in date. For reservations cancelled from 1-59 days prior to check-in date, cleaning fee and property damage fee will be returned, no refund on remainder.

SECURITY DEPOSIT AUTHORIZATION: On your check-in date, a $300 authorization will be be put on your credit card as a hold. Nothing will be charged to your card unless there are significant damages done. Upon check-out, the authorization will be released 3 days after you leave.
