Beautifully appointed home in center of town.

This lovely 3 bedroom home has everything we could have wanted except more time to spend there! Wonderful, large, eat-in kitchen, comfy living room and welcoming backyard we did not get a chance to use. Touring Sonoma from Windsor

Our family had a great time staying nearly a whole week in Windsor at the Historic Queen Anne. The location, the house was spotless, kitchen and media access were convenient and well organized. We especially liked having our coffee in the mornings on the rocking chairs on the front porch and having some delicious Sonoma wines in the evenings in the pleasant back yard and patio. Great stay and we highly recommend this property.

We highly recommend this rental. Owners were communicative and easy to work with. The house is clean, comfortable, well-stocked, charming and in a great location to access whatever you need. The little town of Windsor is so sweet. We had a lovely time over the Christmas holiday!

The house and sleeping arrangements were great! So clean, well stocked, a great back yard space and front porch. Location could not be better! Super comfy beds, plenty of towels and supplies! Zero problems. Hosts were helpful if needed but otherwise, the place was all ours! Good parking and so easily accessed to and from 101. Looking forward to our next trip out to Sonoma!

When we entered the house it felt like home... not just a rental. Very nicely furnished and extremely clean. It is so we'll appointed and we wanted for nothing. The backyard was very inviting. Here's a note about cleanliness: our 13 month grandson is into dropping toys...everywhere. In my tour of looking for those toys I checked under couches, tables, and tv stands. I have to say that there wasnt even ANY dust down there. Amazing! We're planning our next trip!

Adorable updated Victorian

As two older couples, we loved this thoughtfully decorated, beautifully updated Victorian home located right around the corner from the Green, restaurants, and local businesses. The house had all the amenities we needed and we enjoyed the owners humorous and delightful design touches. Owner response to all our inquiries were quickly addressed. Great Location and beautiful home

This home was beautiful and tastefully decorated. Even though it was on a busier main street, it was quite. There were shops and restaurants within walking distance and the outdoor yard was amazing, complete with a bocce ball court and a many seating options. I liked how everything was labeled within the house and that quality shampoos, body wash, etc were included. Even coffee, tea and paper products. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. the owners even had a few new bikes waiting for us. We would definitely stay in this property again.

Possibly our best vaca rental ever!

What can I say, other than...wow. I have no critiques. The house was spotless, fully equipped (hello -- a wine fridge and bocce ball?), comfy beds, and a block from some great restaurants/grocery store. The historic house was quaint and suited our family who was working/schooling remotely perfectly. The fresh flowers and bottle of wine waiting for us were so appreciated too. Kudos to the hosts - they nailed the experience!!

Amazing Family Stay

My husband and I decided last minute that we wanted to get the family away. I went to college around the area and always enjoy going back, but have never actually stayed in Windsor. We were in awe with the house and its location. The home itself is beautiful with so much character. The owners leave a binder with the history about the home, which is really interesting and cool. While it was a little cold too do much in the backyard while we were there, the kids loved the space back there. The location is perfect for a quick walk to all the restaurants on the Town Green and even some bit further. Grocery shopping is a super quick drive or walk. When we return in the future, we will definitely pick to stay here again.

Stay in the Heart of it ALL

This delightful house is well equipped to handle everything you can dream up. The kitchen is very well equipped. The closets even hold equipment for picnic or beach visits. Excellent restaurants are within a 5 minute walk and wineries surround the city. You are within 15 minutes of all the area offers. This was our first vrbo, and it set a very high bar.

A birthday celebration weekend!

Homey and totally bent on comfort for their guests. They had everything we needed. Very comfortable home and surroundings. Was very nice to meet the owners, as well. Was nice to have the property so walkable to neighborhood restaurants and other shops. All in all, a good stay!

Fantastic House

What a charming house! It's the perfect example of a Queen Anne Victorian. The first welcoming sight is the front porch with rocking chairs. Once you open the front door and step inside, the interior is fantastic! The house has beautiful furnishings and is nicely decorated. Every room feels warm and welcoming. The 2 large couches in the living room invite you to sit and chat, watch TV or just relax (and we did). All 3 bedrooms have beautiful antique bed frames. We stayed in the master bedroom, which is spacious and has a very comfortable king size bed. The mattress and pillows were perfect! And the master bath is very large, too. The main bathroom has an adorable clawfoot tub that also has a shower. And both bathroom showers have soap, shampoo and conditioner dispensers -- large sizes instead of the little sample sizes found in hotels! The kitchen looks like it should be featured in a home magazine. It is beautiful, with an island in the middle with 4 comfortable stools. It is well equipped and easy for lots of people to be in there at the same time. We know, because we had a group of friends come over for dinner and there was room for everyone! The backyard is delightful and private. It has a great BBQ and outdoor seating. There is even a Bocce court, which proved to be great fun. I guess the thing that impressed us most is the cleanliness. The house is spotless and it smells clean, too. You can tell that Rhonda and Nikki take great pride in this house. The house is conveniently located close to a variety of eateries, shops and grocery stores (within easy walking distance to most). We tried a lot of them! And it's only 2 blocks from the town square, which is perfect for a leisurely stroll. Windsor is close to many breweries and wineries, and the Russian River is nearby for rafting, boating or just floating. The house even has "floaties" and beach towels, which we were able to use! Windsor is a charming town and well worth the visit -- and this house adds to the charm. We can't wait to book it again -- and stay longer next time!

Expectations Exceeded!

For the first time, this vacation rental is even more beautiful and spacious IN PERSON! Such an wonderful surprise to arrive at this property in Windsor. Bathrooms and bedrooms very spacious and beds soooooo comfortable!! My dream kitchen faces the back deck and overlooks expansive yard. We enjoyed every indoor and outdoor area of the home, from the formal dining room, to the covered front porch <3 So much charm and character at every turn. Rhonda and Nikki were so thoughtful and quick to respond to my questions. I asked the ladies for restaurants, winery, and day trip recommendations, all of which were far beyond anything I would have found on my own! You do not need to pack soap or shampoo, they have the Good Stuff! The house had everything we would hope for, and more. Oh! And the location, VERY CONVENIENT. Just a mile off the interstate, and dining/shops/grocery all within walking distance. I felt like I won the lottery with this property. Truly, the photos are just a tease at what awaits you at this Windsor home. BOOK IT!

Nikki and Rhonda were classmates in college and remain the best of friends. They travel together frequently staying mostly in short-term rentals. Nikki and Rhonda are both residents of the East Bay (near San Francisco) and travel to Windsor so much that they bought this lovely home.

Why they chose this property

We travel to wine country frequently and even stayed at this property in 2017. When we started looking to put down roots we were thrilled to find this property listed for sale. We LOVE this house and hope you love it too.

This house fulfilled a dream to create a getaway in the wine country that everyone will be delighted to return to after a day on the river, wine tasting or shopping. We chose this house because it is surrounded by some of the finest dining, world class wines, and limitless outdoor activities in an ideal location.

What makes this property unique

This property is beautifully renovated and the kitchen is amazing. It's like staying in a new Victorian home, yet with lots of history. We enjoy hanging out everywhere on this property, and always make use of the backyard and backyard Bocce court.
