This home was renovated in 2018 with a second full bath added and newly furnished in 2019. Beautiful east side quiet neighborhood just a block from Lake Superior, beaches and bike paths. Three blocks from popular third street and 5 blocks from downtown. Large back yard and all the amenities to make your stay in Marquette comfortable. Full 4 car garage for storage. Patio furniture available as well. A/C added in 2021.

Clean, cozy home. Good location. Large back yard with deck. Cozy seating area in the front. It met all of our needs. The host, Tim was responsive and friendly. The only very slight problem is that the cookware is old and worn.I grew up in the UP and we come to visit with family yearly. We will seek this home out again. We appreciate that it is affordable.

Great Property with a short walk to the beach!!

Very roomy and practical in a quiet neighborhood. Good for a family of all ages or a couple getting away. A great location with close access to 3rd street, Washington street, the lakeshore and beyond.

We were very happy with our stay! The place is cute as a button & very clean and well maintained. Very cute neighborhood. Great location, close to all the shops, restaurants, hikes and for us it was important to be close to Northern Michigan University for our sons freshman orientation. Would highly recommend.

Perfect place to stay! Loved having a huge driveway (no need to park in the street), my elderly father has mobility issues and had an easy time navigating the ranch style home, internet and cable worked perfectly. Great location and well equipped home.

Cute house close to beach & town

Cute, comfortable home in a nice neighborhood. Easy walk to beach and lighthouse. 20 minute walk to town for shops and restaurants. Kitchen was well stocked with small kitchen table. 2 bedrooms have queen beds and 3rd bedroom has a twin. The home & location worked well for the 2 of us.

All you need for a great UP vacation

The house has everything you could need! We spent every morning w coffee on the front porch planning our days and dinner on the back patio talking. The beach and bike paths are close. We rode our bikes to downtown multiple times and upper harbor to watch the ships come in. We had to call the owner once and he responded quickly. I can’t say enough about this house and the location except it was perfect. So much to do around Marquette and the surrounding area.

Loved It!

We had a great time in this lovely home. It's obvious that the place was very recently renovated with great care and an eye to detail. High-quality materials were used throughout the home. The beds were very comfortable with wonderful linens, including lovely quilts. The home decor is lovely, inviting and soothing, and includes artwork and materials that pay homage to the Upper Peninsula and Lake Superior. There is ample storage space (bureaus and closets). The location is ideal. It is very close to the beach, yet quiet and residential. The Third Street business corridor (restaurants, pubs, shopping) is a 10-minute walk away. Presque Isle Park and other lakefront amenities (including a bike trail, pedestrian pathway, beaches and parks) are all nearby. The owners went out of their way to create an inviting atmosphere. The furniture is both lovely and very comfortable. There was an ample supply of paper products on hand (paper towels, toilet paper and coffee filters), as well as soaps, shampoo, etc. Snacks (chips and candies) were available upon our arrival. The neighborhood has a pronounced Mayberry vibe. The local homes are well-maintained and attractive, and we enjoyed sitting on the porch (or in the living room) and soaking it all in. We highly recommend this property. We've stayed in many hotels and homes in the Marquette area, and this was one of our best experiences.

Great Marquette Location

The house was spotless and communication/check-in was easy and seamless. The layout of the house and outside deck was perfect for a small family gathering. The location though was the best feature. It is in a quiet neighborhood just blocks from the beach and in centrally located between downtown, NMU, and the 3rd street entertainment options.

Perfect!!!

This is a beautiful home in a perfect location! It's very close to the lake (and also to the Third Street corridor and downtown). The neighborhood is very peaceful and quiet. My husband and I have stayed at the home MANY times, and it's always our first choice in Marquette. The hosts are very gracious, and despite our many stays, we've never had any issues. The owners maintain the home in pristine condition. The furnishings are lovely, the beds are comfortable, and the decor (including the work of many local artists) pays homage to the U.P. and Lake Superior. We are very grateful to the hosts for their continued hospitality.

Wonderful House

Beautiful house, great location in a quiet neighborhood. Everything you need is provided. Plenty of room and amenities. We felt right at home. We stayed in the fall, and it rained the whole time, but the patio/outdoor areas would be great in nicer weather. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect!!!

This is a lovely home. My husband and I have rented it many times, and hope to return. It's very close to the lake and also to the Third Street business district. The home is spacious, spotless and beautifully decorated/furnished. There is a lot of artwork celebrating Marquette and Lake Superior. The owner has clearly taken great care with the place. Highly recommended!
