Panhandle Getaways furnishes a few essential items for guests to utilize until they can get to the grocery store. Initial Supplies include: Dishwasher soap, small washing machine powder, each bathroom has amenities (like hotel but NOT restocked) shampoo, conditioner, soap bar. One roll of toilet paper in each bathroom and one paper towel roll in the kitchen. All bed linens and towels are provided. We encourage guests to bring beach towels for use at the pool and beach.

Family beach trip

We enjoyed our stay at Calypso Resort. It is a great location if you don't have a car. Easy to walk to shops and restaurants. Condo was exactly as pictured and described. Beach chairs and umbrellas were great. We had no issues with the elevators, and the wi-fi worked fine for us. Staff at the tiki bar, "front desk", and beach chair rental were awesome!

Great Condo for Family

This was a great condo for my family of 4 and would have worked for an even larger family. Very clean, easy check in and out, simple communication with Panhandle Getaways, and phenomenal location on the beach next to Pier Park. The only thing that could have been better is having the unit stocked with essentials such as dish soap, more laundry soap, dishwasher soap, toilet paper, trash bags, etc. If you're staying for a week like we did, you'll have to make a run to Wal-Mart for these types of items.

It was just Okay!

We booked this condo last minute for Spring Break for our family. When we arrived it was late and we could not get the door to open and the person at the front desk was not helpful at all. The condo was surface level clean but upon looking closer it was in desperate need of a deep clean. Baseboards, ceiling fans, cabinets really needed to be wiped down. Our feet got dirty instantly if we didn’t have shoes on. When we went to use the dishes they all looked REALLY dirty. We ended up just buying plastic utensils and cups and not cooking in the condo. The beach is steps away which is nice and the pools are fine. Having the beach chairs be included was really nice. The parking garage is a long walk if you are hauling groceries or luggage. It’s on the 22nd floor so taking the stairs is a chore especially with small children but thankfully waiting on an elevator wasn’t too bad. You can stay somewhere nicer for the amount of money this cost.

Excellent View! Perfect Location!

The view from this condo was amazing. The condo does need some attention, a few fix ups. We did have to vacuum the carpets and wipe down some counter tops when we arrived. We are perfectly capable of running a vacuum and wiping down counter tops but we shouldn't have to do that when we were paying $500 a night. We could see that the air conditioning air filter had not been changed for about 8 months and was filthy with caked on dust and dirt, also one of the sink water stoppers was broken in the master bathroom so that sink wouldn't drain. I called the maintenance # that was in our packet and reported both items to them but I heard nothing back from them during our stay. Over all, except the above, the condo was nice. The beds were comfortable, which is a big issue for me. The view from the balcony was amazing and the location was perfect. Pier Park was a short walk. Lot's to do and eat in walking distance. In some reviews people complained about the elevators being slow and long wait times. We really had no issue with them. They were busy a couple of times, around dinner time, but there are a lot of people staying there. We didn't use the pools but they looked clean and nice. The tiki bar was a big hit for us, the staff there were very friendly, good drinks. Security staff were always around and very friendly. A tip for the parking garage, park on 6th or 7th floor, not crowded, you can usually park close to the elevator. Also easy loading and unloading. Over all this condo was nice and the Calypso as a resort was excellent. Would definitely stay at the Calypso again.

Perfect location, spacious, & accommodations!

Recently stayed here with some friends to celebrate a Bride-to-Be, and we couldn’t be more pleased with our experience! Calypso is the best location in PCB. It’s right on the beach, a minute walk to Pier Park, and great accommodations! The fitness center could use some upgrades, but overall, our stay was great. The property manager responded timely to all messages, and even had fresh shower liners delivered to our condo promptly after request. The beds were also super comfortable! I’ll definitely be back!!

View from the balcony was stunning

I had a wonderful time and will definitely return.The only issues we had was our water was turned off twice at inconvenient times. Then the elevator was so very slow , For a place like Calypso they need lots more elevators in the future buildings. We enjoyed our trip and will for sure return.
