If you are looking for a great family home near the amazing Turkey Springs Trail System with over 30 miles of hiking/biking trails and Lake Hatcher with some of the best trout in Pagosa Springs, Pagosa Peak Retreat is the home for you. On the main floor there is an extra-large and fully stocked kitchen that opens to the dining and living room with new leather furniture, large flat screen TV and plenty of room for everyone to hang out. The room is large with plenty of natural light and opens on to the large rear deck with gas grill, table, chairs and wonderful valley views. Down the hall you?ll find the master suite with king bed, TV, split bathroom and large walk in closet. The master bedroom also has sliding glass doors that exit on to the rear deck. Also, on the main level is a powder room and laundry room with washer and dryer. Upstairs are 2 extra large bedrooms each with queen beds, walk in closets and share a common bathroom with separate sinks available to each bedroom. One has an additional XL twin bed. Both bedrooms have amazing views of mountains, valley and Lake Hatcher. This home is located close to Piedra road for easy access, has plenty of parking close to the front door and RV or toy trailer parking on the side.

All trailers, RV's, campers or other recreation vehicles must be approved prior to arrival to be allowed on premises.
This is a pet friendly home. Dogs only, 2 max. The pet fee is $75 per pet, as well as an additional $100 refundable security deposit per pet.
This home does not have AC.

Great pet friendly home in Pagosa Springs!

We had a great stay in Pagosa Springs, our first time traveling with our pup. Plenty of room for everyone and everything we needed for our stay. The kitchen was wonderfully stocked too!

This was a great property to stay at. Very comfortable, clean, and all was as listed. We really enjoyed the location with great sunsets off the back deck while grilling and enjoying the fall weather.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at this property. The arrival info was perfect and Lori kept in touch with me prior to and throughout the stay. The home is in a perfect location close to all the fun activities we enjoy. The house was well stocked with essentials (including antibacterial soap!) and we felt welcomed at the property from the beginning. Beautiful location, views, and peace and quiet. Wonderful mountain neighborhood home

Feom the ease of communication with the property managers, to the view from the kitchen window, this home was exactly what we were looking for. This home made a great place to hang out and rest up and a great base camp for Jeep driving. It's a quiet neighborhood very close to turkey springs road which was our first Jeep trail of the trip. Its a little bit out of town and there were mule deer all over the roads!

When with fmily for a quick getaway, house was clean and very well stocked. Communication was very good prior with a concierge service for activities and rentals. The property was about 15 minutes away from the hot springs and main street. Being pet friendly there was no smell of pets when we stayed…very important, would recommend to management to add central ac, we would have paid more for that. Will probably be back to get some fishing in ….

Perfect getaway

We had a great trip and the house was perfect for our group of 6 plus two dogs. There were 2 adults, a 2 year old, and a dog who shared the master downstairs. There were two bedrooms upstairs where 2 adults and a dog stayed in one room while the 9 year old daughter took the other bedroom. The bath that connected the two rooms was perfect since each side had their own sink and area to get ready. The kitchen was a great size and open to everything. Jessica at the management company was wonderful to work with and extremely responsive, very quickly.

Very quiet neighborhood, easy access to trails (you can walk to trailheads), and the house has everything you will need. Kitchen well appointed, we ate in everyday. Comfortable bed in the master suite, can't speak to the guest room beds upstairs. Be aware there is no air conditioning, I somehow missed that detail and the first couple of days it was very hot in the house from 4-8 pm. Cools off nicely at night. Love the mountains!

Not quite as advertised

The property is beautiful and accommodated our large group of 3 adults and 5 children. There is NO internet though which I would have never booked if I knew this, since I had to work. None of our calls were returned. No pillow cases but the 2 on the bed or sheets for the hide-a-bed. Coffee pot does not fit the coffee maker (too short) thus the first pot of coffee did not go well. We had a wonderful time but I had to buy internet jet pack from Verizon in town to meet my needs and again no one returned my messages.

Misleading listing -- NOT a new home, NO lake view & NO AC

*Check in was easy. *Nice basket of snacks *Good communication w/ owner but we had to inquire about location of the communal pool & never found info on massage as listed. *Spacious rooms w/ well stocked kitchen *Nice back deck but no awning/c over so when it rained you couldn't enjoy it & the tables & cushions were soaked *This is not a NEW home as listed, the neighbors said it was remodeled. *The backsplash in the kitchen is unfinished *The outlet in the master bedroom by the door did not work. *Master toilet had paint splatters all over *Master sliding door didn't unlock, we had to use a key to move the latch & there is no track for the screen door, it just lays over the glass door *NO AC - this wasn't revealed on the website *Ceiling fans in all rooms are too small for the size of the rooms especially since there is NO AC *There is a lake but this home doesn't have a lake view as listed. Be prepared for a long walk or drive.

Thus, we did not spend much time in the house. The time we did spend was delightful. It is a beautiful house with excellent views. Coffee and birdwatching on the back deck was a wonderful way to start each day. The house was clean, very nicely furnished and has an attractive layout. The only improvement I would suggest is putting twin beds in one of the upstairs bedrooms. This would make the house more attractive to unrelated adult guests.
