The suite is ideal for couples, solo travellers, remote workers and weekend adventurers seeking comfort, privacy and a relaxed West Coast experience.

This private ground level suite is self contained, with a separate entrance within our primary residence. The suite is modern and inviting, and provides all the comforts you will need, including wifi and in-suite laundry.

The Ocean view suite was Awesome ! The full kitchen was clean & large and had everything needed for a Wonderful stay. The King sized bed was very comfy. It was also nice having a wisher/dryer ... saved bringing too many clothes. Bob was a pleasure to deal with ... looking forward to our next stay !!!

We had a fantastic stay at Bob and Caroline’s suite in Sooke! Bob greeted us when we arrived, showing us around, how things worked, and provided great advice on things to see/do in the area. He was extremely friendly and easy to chat with. The kitchen is well set-up, bed comfortable, washer/dryer worked great, and strong water pressure in the shower. We’ve stayed at many vacation rentals and this was one of the cleanest. The electric fireplace made the suite feel so cozy in the evenings. Peaceful location with a beautiful view of the water. We also enjoyed the boardwalk just a minute away. Definitely will plan to stay here again if we are back in Sooke!

Very well kept, compact unit with thoughtful design and inside amenities. Great communication with the host, Bob, who is a member of the historical society and who gave us good tips and recommendations on local sites and beaches of interest. Proximity to these areas as well as convenient shops and restaurants is also very good. The only thing that would give this a perfect score is if it were right on the water. Otherwise, it is still close to the nearby boardwalk on the waterfront and other nature trails that can be easily accessed by walking or driving.

Very nice place! Location is great. Walkable to a lot of places and a great starting point to explore hwy #14 to Port Renfrew. The hosts were lovely. Would definitely stay here again.

You can't beat the location in Sooke! You can walk into Sooke town centre for necessities, coffee shops and restaurants. The Boardwalk that goes out into the Sooke basin is just steps away and Ed Macgregor Park is at the end of the street. West Coast adventures await within short drives from Sooke - East Sooke Park, Juan de Fuca trails and beaches, Port Renfrew, old growth forests, fishing, paddle boarding, Galloping Goose Trail, and Victoria is only 40 minutes away with a vibrant waterfront, museums, theatres and more.

What makes this property unique

Wake up to peaceful ocean views on a quiet street. We have great neighbours, and there is so much to do and see within a short walk, Convenient location and plenty of free parking. In addition, Bob is usually available to provide local knowledge and interact with our guests as much, or as little as they prefer. Our home is your home!

We consistently receive compliments on how sparkling clean the suite is. If you are coming for longer than 2 weeks, Bob will work with you to set up some regular maintenance times that are mutually convenient to ensure utilities are well maintained.

We have a friendly Australian Shepherd doggo named Skylar. She greets all of our guests and will be your best friend if you throw the frisbee for her!
