Sand Cay resort is using the industries best practices and guidelines to ensure that all CDC sanitizing guidelines are carried out completely. Moving forward we will use only a EPA-registered product, qualified for use against against SARS-CoV-2, the novel coronavirus that causes COVID-19.
. We are centrally located on beautiful Longboat Key, next to the new Zota hotel with it's great restaurants and bars. Our resort has an immaculate white sandy beach, heated pool, shuffleboard, basketball and full tennis/pickle ball court. We have a free laundry room next to the pool, a large barbecue area and an elevator. Our remodeled unit features a fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances, living room with a 52 inch smart HDTV, HDTV in each bedroom and a dining room that seats six. We have a king bed in the master bedroom, two twin beds in the second bedroom and a queen size sleeper sofa in the living room. The private balcony has seating for four with views of the garden, pool and Gulf.

We enjoyed our trip to LBK! It's been a few years since we visited Sand Cay, and it worked well for our family. Between the beach, the pool, and the pickleball, we had a relaxing vacation. The condo unit, while at the back of the complex, had fine views of the property, pool, and a small glimpse of the Gulf. Thanks!

We loved our stay. The property is well staffed, well kept, quiet, and family friendly. Quick access and plenty of comfortable lounge chairs on the beach. The beach was never too crowded or rowdy but plenty of people relaxing and having fun. Gulf sunsets never disappoint. Pool area is nice and clean with shaded areas to lounge or sit. The unit itself has a lovely gulf and property view on the balcony and living area. Inside there were several comfortable seating areas- couches, armchairs etc. which allowed our family to spread out in downtime. The kitchen had everything you need and with Publix so close we spent most meals at the dining table instead of restaurants. The primary mattress was very comfortable. The second bedroom was perfect for my teenagers to share and they both said their mattress was as comfortable as home. Shower pressure and temperature was not an issue despite frequent post beach showers.Everything is clean, updated and comfortable. Truly a perfect beach retreat for us.

I have been going to Sand Cay Memorial weekend for the past 23 years. This has been one of the best units we have stayed at.The only caveat, which I encourage the owner to discuss with the property management is that the entire property fire alarm system went off for 3 days in a row at the same time 8 am. No apologies nor explanations were provided to the guests. That was very disappointing.

This small condo development right on the beach in the barrier islands is a lovely stay. The beach is outstanding, uncrowded, and just a few steps from your room. The pool is large and deep but in need of a makeover. Our unit, a two bedroom two bath condo with Living Room, Kitchen and Dining including a lovely balcony which you can see a bit of the water from. It was very well appointed, stylish and very attractive. That being said, it needed some love for example the master bath toilet did not flush and they were unable to get the part it needed during our stay. The fan in the living room area did not work, the light in the guest bed had to be turned on and off by screwing the bulb in as it had no wall or lamp switch and the TV was not working. The plug in the guest bathroom wasn’t seated in the wall so when you unplugged anything the whole box came with you. The chairs on the balcony were stained with mold. Our beach towels were missing but the office responded promptly provided us some, and sent a maintenance man to try and fix the toilet. In spite of the inconveniences tye unit had everything you could possibly need to have a wonderful stay on the beach. The unit price is listed as a bargain but the “fees” almost doubled the price. The staff at the facility were so helpful and our hostess Kim responded quickly to our concerns.
