In the village there is a large swimming pool by the sea and sandy beaches nearby (Maiata beach and lagoon beach); to emphasize, to the northwest of the village the beach of ribeira of Faial (with space for children to play, space for practicing sport, (with karting track in the vicinity), and with restoration next to the beach where delicious French confectionery is made.

Nearby there is a little bumpy secondary road with the possibility of taking a pleasant bike ride.

Beautiful location. Love the view.

We enjoyed our three nights here very much. It is in an absolutely gorgeous location and walks are possible from the house. The house is clean and well equipped. The owners mother brought us a pitcher of poncha the local drink which we enjoyed. I recommend this place very much to anyone.

House with a beautiful view

The place hast got everything you need for your stay on the island - there was even a little welcome present. We we're a little bit suprised about quite cold weather on Madeira. With heater and oven in the house we didn't have to freeze fortunatly!

Wonderful place with an amazing view

We really enjoyed our stay! The house has an amazing view, is big, and very clean - everything was perfect. Marcia was also very nice, and communication was super easy via WhatsApp. She provided us with a lot of information beforehand to give us the exact location and recommend good restaurants in the area. Much appreciated and highly recommended! My advice is to not forget shampoo or anything you need, as there is no shop within walking distance

Hübsches Haus auf einem Bergkamm mit spektakulärer Aussicht. Die Gegend ist sehr schön. Die Gastgeber waren sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Wir haben den Korb mit frischen Bio Eier und Bio Bananen sehr geschätzt:) Der Mietwagen sollte für diese Region unbedingt klein, aber mit genug Leistung sein.

Geräumiges Haus in ruhiger Lage mit sehr schönem Ausblick

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen.Das Haus ist ruhig gelegen und geräumig. Die Gastgeber sind hilfsbereit und gut erreichbar.Allerdings sind nicht wie in der Anzeige beschrieben 3 Schlafzimmer verfügbar, sondern 2 Schlafzimmer und eine Schlafcouch/-bett im offenen Wohnzimmer.Auch ist nur ein Badezimmer vorhanden plus einem zusätzlichen WC im Erdgeschoss.Das Haus ist ausreichend eingerichtet, allerdings bietet die Küche nur spärliche Ausstattung, wenn man kochen möchte.

Positief: De ontvangst door de moeder van Marcia was prima. Later werden we nog verrast met een zelfgemaakte cake en ponga. Het uitzicht vanuit het huis met de bergen en de zee is mooi.Negatief: In de beschrijving staat dat er drie slaapkamers zijn.Er zijn maar 2 slaapkamers en een bankbed in de woonkamer! Ronduit misleidend is dat van 1 slaapkamer twee verschillende foto’s zijn gemaakt zodat het lijkt alsof er drie slaapkamers zijn. Tevens staat er dat er twee badkamers zijn. Er is maar 1 (!) badkamer en een tweede toilet. De toegang tot het huis is bepaald niet makkelijk, een trap met veertig treden naar beneden (zie ook andere reviews) .De keuken is matig uitgerust en zeker niet ingericht voor 6 personen. Er zijn vier zitplaatsen in de keuken die direct verbonden is met de woonkamer.Buiten dineren is onmogelijk, er staat een tafeltje van 90 x 90 cm.De foto op de site met “terras” is een 80 cm doorgang naar de keukendeur, de toegang tot het huis!Foto’s waarbij staat “terrein van de accommodatie” zijn uitsluitend foto’s van de directe omgeving NIET van het terrein van het huis. M.u.v. de balkonfoto.

Ein gepflegtes Haus mit toller Aussicht

Mein Aufenthalt war sehr schön. Haus in ruhiger Hanglage auf einem Bergkamm. Die Straße,Sackgasse, ist ca. 80m entfernt. Anfahrt: Über Porto da Cruz auf ER108 Richtung Portela. Nach ca. 5km links auf Caminho do Gaba, gleich wieder rechts,dann die Parkterrasse links mitTor,Fernbedienung. Weg mit Treppen zum Haus runter (50m) Nicht für Rolator oder Rollstuhl.Tip: Google Maps Wohnen auf zwei Etagen. EG: KücheWohnen WCOG: Schlafen(2) Bad/WC. Beide Etagen haben einen schmalen Balkon, der von allen Zimmern zugänglich ist. im OG ist zusätzlich eine schöne Terasse, die vom EG über eine Aussentreppe, und über die Schlafzimmer Balkone erreicht wird. Die Aussicht auf Berge und Meer ist von allen Zimmern wunderbar. Geheizt wird, im EG mit einem Pelletofen Knopfdruck, mehr nicht nötig. In den Schlafzimmern gibt es neue Klimageräte(Warm/Kalt, Lüftung). Bei Bedarf gibt es im OG noch einen Luftentfeuchter.Meer, Berge und Wolken können Luftfeuchtigkeit verursachen. Die Küche ist ausreichend ausgestattet. Tipp: Ein scharfes Messer mitbringen. Aussen, vor der Küche, gibt es einen gemauerten Grill.Das WLAN ist schnell und stabil, im EG. Im OG hat man LTE Empfang. Die Nachbarn, überwiegend Einheimische, grüßen freundlich. Die Vermieterin und ihre Eltern sind per WhatsApp erreichbar und bei Bedarf, sehr hilfsbereit. Öfters gab es kleine Aufmersamkeiten, wie frische Eier, Kuchen, Wein, .... wir haben uns sehr darüber gefreut.

Schönes Haus in ruhiger Lage

Das Haus liegt auf ca. 400m Höhe über dem Ort Porto da Cruz. Die Aussicht auf den Adlerfelsen ist grandios. Der Zugang zum Haus ist etwas ungewohnt; er führt ca. 100 m über typisches Madeiratreppen/-pflaster. Das ist nicht unbedingt für Rollkoffer geeignet. Ein Parkdeck ist vorhanden. Die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber funktionierte hervorragend. Die Gastgeber waren sehr bemüht und freundlich.

Villa in de bergen met uitzicht op zee

We hebben vijf heerlijke dagen beleefd in deze villa. Met de auto 20 minuten van het vliegveld en binnen een uur via prachtige routes door de bergen naar Funchal of de hoogste toppen van Madeira. Er is een prachtig terras met uitzicht op zee tussen de plaatselijke akkerterrassen In de woonkamer zorgt een pelletkachel voor sfeervolle warmte en in de keuken is allrs aanwezig. .

Schöne Gegend - Haus im Grünen mit herrlicher Aussicht.

Ideal für Aktivitäten - Levada-Wanderungen alle in max. 30 Minuten Autofahrt erreichbar. Auch die Wanderung zum höchsten Punkt in Madeira „Pico Ruivo“ gut erreichbar. Freitags bis Sonntags lärmt Openair Disco und Konzerte ganz in der Nähe! Sonst ist Standort zu empfehlen, auch kleine hübsche Bademöglichkeiten vorhanden.

Blick auf den Adlerfelsen

Wir haben eine sehr schöne Woche in diesem Ferienhaus verbracht. Die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin hat problemlos geklappt. Die Wegbeschreibung war sehr gut, so dass wir keine Schwierigkeiten hatten, das Haus zu finden. Vor Ort hat uns die Mutter der Vermieterin sehr herzlich empfangen. Das Haus ist insgesamt gut ausgestattet, die beiden Schlafzimmer sind hell und groß und die Dusche funktioniert gut. In der Küche wären ein paar mehr Gläser sowie eine größere Schüssel für Salat sehr schön. Im unteren Stockwerk riecht es etwas muffig, da das Haus direkt am Felsen gebaut wurde, so dass wir die Küchenschränke offen gelassen haben. Den Blick von der Terrasse auf den Adlerfelsen, das Meer und die Berge haben wir sehr genossen. Ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen und Ausflüge. Gute Lage - einfache Unterkunft

Die Lage ist sehr schön, wer Ruhe sucht ist hier richtig. Das Haus ist sehr einfach ausgestattet, es fehlt im Bad an Abstellmöglichkeiten und Haken. Die Küche ist sehr spärlich bestückt. Da das Haus an den Hang gebaut ist, ist es im Haus in dieser Jahreszeit sehr kühl und alles wird sehr schnell klamm. Handtücher trocknen nicht. Hier hat leider auch der Pelletofen nichts bewirkt da er für die Räumlichkeiten (Küche, Wohnzimmer und Flur nach oben offen) nicht ausreichend wärme schafft. Kommunikation mit Marcia ist unkompliziert über Whatsapp möglich.

Ruime vakantiewoning met prachtig uitzicht.

Filmpje om goed bij de woning te komen gekregen, prima ontvangen en rondgeleid door Portugees sprekende verhuurster. Indien nodig was dochter via app bereikbaar. Zij informeerde tussendoor hoe het was. We kregen een mand met allerlei producten tijdens verblijf. Bedden prima. Goed uitvalspunt voor het oosten van het eiland en veel rustiger dan regio Zuid.

im ländlichen grünen gelegen mit Meerblick

Auf einem Bergsporn liegend, hat man eine fantastische Aussicht vom Haus auf den Adlerfelsen, das dahinterliegende Meer und die Insel Porto Santo. Man kann direkt vom Haus loslaufen und gelangt nach 10 Minuten durch terrassierte Felder und schönen Gärten vorbei zur Levada Castelejo. Supermärkte gibt es in Santana und Machico cirka 12 bis 15 Minuten entfernt. Das Haus ist sehr gut eingerichtet. Besonders hervorzuheben ist der Pelletofen. Er sorgt bei den doch kühlen Abenden für die nötige Wärme. Das Licht in der Küche ist etwas kalt, wenn man aber die Lampe aus dem Wohnzimmer in die Küche stellt, wird es gemütlich. Frühstücken kann man sehr schön auf der Terrasse wenn die Wespen einen in Ruhe lassen. Zur Begrüßung gab es Bananen, leckere Kartoffeln aus eigenem Anbau und ein kleines Brot. Sofort kam das Hierfühlichmichzuhausegefühl auf. Über WhatsApp kann man mit der Tochter des Hauses kommunizieren , da die Mutter kein Englisch spricht.Schnell werden anfallende Dinge geklärt. Das Abfahren fällt echt schwer. Das nächste Mal würde ich länger bleiben, da es in der Umgebung viele Wandermöglichkeiten gibt. Hervorzuheben sind die Küstenwanderung von Machico über die Boca do Risco nach Puerto da Cruz mit anschließendem Bad im Meerschwimmbecken. Vielen Dank für das wirklich tolle Haus.
