Everything was perfect!! Beautiful setting, very clean with so many special touches. Owners were friendly, welcoming and made us feel right at home. The river is out your back door with privacy and chairs to sit in. We also liked that it was close enough to do day trips like the Sky Bridge at Boyne Mountain.
Holy Waters setting against the Au Sable River was peaceful. Colors of trees added to the ambience. We chose this VRBO because we were seeking rest and relaxation. It was absolute paradise! The cabin was filled with everything we could possibly need. We grilled some steaks on the gas grill provided. The shower was warm and had additional spouts. The bed was comfortable and we slept so well. I would recommend this place to friends and family.
Wow! Even though I was expecting a great stay, I couldn’t believe just how amazing this property was! We were here for a wedding, so we didn’t get the pleasure of utilizing everything. I want to come back and stay again just to enjoy the serenity this place provided.
The best Verbo we have stayed in. The home is beautiful. The apartment is on the lower walk out level. You can see the river from the patio. Fisherman walk right in to the AuSable river. The bathroom shower and whirlpool tub were awesome. The owners were very helpful and available. Don’t hesitate to stay here in fact jump on it.
A lovely home with plenty of amenities in an amazing location. We loved being right on the river and within an easy walk to Kirtland’s warblers! And the hot tub was perfect on a chilly evening after paddling. Jeanne was so helpful - she truly went above and beyond.
Couldn’t say enough great things about this spot. Was hesitant about staying in someone’s basement but those folks are super quiet, friendly, and respectful.
The hot tub was amazing. The view of the AuSable was beautiful. Very clean and had everything I needed. The bed was very comfortable and cozy. Would definitely stay here again.
I have been to many, many short term rentals and this was hands down the cleanest place I have ever been. The home is in excellent condition and includes all that you would need. The shower is pretty sweet. It has 4 heads that hit you from every angle with great pressure. The back yard down to the river is very peaceful. I was able to meet both host and they are incredibly kind and accommodating. The only slightly non-ideal thing is there is no dedicated thermostat for the unit. It did not bother me at all though as the temps were great.
The property was great! It had everything we needed. They had a guest book with previous recommendations that we found super helpful! We enjoyed the hammocks, hot tub, and feeding the goats and chickens. The beds were a bit uncomfortable but chairs and couch were super comfy. We would love to plan a trip here again!
Perfect stay and just what I was looking for for a quiet weekend with kayaking, star gazing, and being close to nature. Hosts were kind and attentive and communicated well while still giving me space to enjoy my time. Would definitely stay again. Also, their dog Wren is such a sweetheart. An unexpected addition to the trip that was really special.
