Charming village house, quiet, bright, refurbished in 2018, in a cul-de-sac leading to the small port of Mouleydier, with free launching and cycle path in "green way" along the banks of the Dordogne. It is composed on the ground floor, of an equipped kitchen open to a dining room and a living room, opening onto a terrace offering a breathtaking view of the Dordogne. At the entrance is a large bathroom with shower and toilet. Upstairs: 3 bedrooms with double bed and wardrobe can accommodate 6 people. 2 have views of the Dordogne. 1 separate toilet and a bathroom with a walk-in shower. A garden overlooks the river near which you can take your meals and rest lulled by the song of a small stream. The town has all local shops (bakery, butcher, tobacco / press, pharmacy, grocery, post office, doctor ...). You can visit the castles of Montbazillac, Beynac, Castelnaud, or follow the circuit of country houses (Eymet, Montpazier ...), and buy local products at the traditional market of Issigeac or Bergerac.

Where is House with breathtaking views of the Dordogne located?
Beautiful place with gorgeous views of the Dordogne River. We all had great stay and would look forward to staying again. Fantastic place to explore the cultural and geographic features of the Dordogne Region.
We have had a fantastic time. The house is beautiful. The host has catered for every need. The view from the house was breathtaking.Moulydier is a lovely village.
We loved the property - amazing views of the river, walking distance to a bar, boulangerie and butcher, comfy bedrooms and living room and a wonderful terrace for BBQ. It was nice and airy in the heat - no AC but fans were fine. Communication with the hosts was excellent, especially the early check-in that was no trouble. Couldn't have had a nicer stay!
Great homebase location for Dordogne exploration. A lot of interesting places to go, things to see, and wine to drink! Host met us upon arrival and explained everything. Just a great experience and a great home.
Thank you
Firstly, I’d like to say the house is so much more than the pictures, it’s absolutely stunning!
Extremely clean, has everything you could need and more.
The patio area overlooking the River Dordogne is beautiful as well as having the balcony off of the lounge area.
Francois is so warm and friendly. She arrived to greet us and gave us a tour of the house, explaining its history and showing us where everything was. We asked about swimming in the river and she walked us just pass the house to where the locals use to show us also, nothing was too much trouble. Her correspondence before and during our stay was fantastic also.
Mouleydier is a small, pretty commune. Just a minutes walk from the house and you have everything you need: boulangerie, convenience store, chemist, tabac, pub and more.
It’s only a 15 minute drive to pretty Bergerac for the rest of your essentials.
The house is in a wonderful location making it easy to explore the Dordogne. Issigeac is a must see, visiting the morning market and going to eat at the evening market also.
There is a stunning river beach within 30mins where you can swim and also a lake 15mins away.
All in all I didn’t want to leave and will definitely be returning not only to the Dordogne but also to Francois beautiful house :)
Thank you Francois
Sehr schönes Haus mit einem großartigen Terassen-Garten direkt über der Dordogne. Nebenan rauscht der Bach, die Schwalben fliegen...eine besonderer Platz.
The house is very clean, old but perfectly renovated, large and well equipped. One one side, the short street leads to the river or the center-town, with largely enough shops. On the other side of the house, the large terrace or the balcony are few meters above the the quiet banks of the Dordogne river, perfect for evening dining Mouleydier is the perfect base camp for tourism, from Bergerac to the Perigord region. No TV, that's not necessary for spending perfect days, believe us. Take your 4G spot if you need internet absolutely. Otherwise there is one access at the pub 100 meters away. What you see on photographs is what you find when you arrive. Charming place, lovely owners: Mouleydier, what else ?
Newly remodeled river side house in small french village. The house is spotless and appliances and fixtures are almost all brand new. Short walk to a pub, grocery store, and pizza shop. The house is well positioned for day trips throughout the Bordeaux region. Hosts are fantastic. The house has been in the familly for generations. Absolutely the most peaceful setting you could imagine. Highly recommended.
