AIRY AND SPACIOUS STUDIO ON GROUND FLOOR

The Blue Room is a “hotel style” studio with a private bathroom and covered lanai. Included are a comfy queen bed, wireless, smart t.v., coffee maker and mini fridge. There are no cooking or laundry facilities. Close to restaurants, shops, resorts and beaches. Walking distance to the Westin, Hanalei Bay Resort and The One Hotel. Cool and airy inside with plenty of mature lush landscape. The perfect getaway for island explorers. After a full day of activities, return to take a soak in the jacuzzi or a dip in the pool. You're just a short drive away from golf, horse-back riding, surf lessons, scuba diving, zip lining, etc. Walk along the Princeville path to see the sunset or visit a resort for a cocktail. Sandpiper was one of the first condominiums built in Princeville and many local families reside there; working, going to school, raising kids. The studio is also below and beside other vacation rentals. It’s a busy neighborhood with people coming and going at all times. Visitors who stay will experience true island living.

This studio is the perfect location from which to explore the North Shore. Well appointed unit to get our stay off to a great start. Large mini fridge, toatster, tea electric tea kettle and Keurig coffee machine were all used and appreciated. Owner was very prompt and friendly with all communication, especially with check in and check out instructions.

We really enjoyed our stay here, and would gladly recommend it to others. If the pool was open a little later than 9:00 pm, that would have been great, but that is out of the owner's control.

The room was tidy and small, a most basic place to sleep. There is a sweet lanai but the neighbor’s frequent loud talking about personal matters made it hard to enjoy. The fridge was terribly noisy but she said she’d address that after we left. There are only paper plates and bowls, which were not adequate for our duration of stay. There were real cups and also silverware. The bed is comfortable enough but just a double. The room faces the parking lot so there need to be blackout curtains in the front windows as lights come in every time a car starts up in the dark. We never found parking in front, but there was always parking in the back lot, not a far walk but not very convenient to load and unload the car with all the beach stuff. Happy to have beach chairs and a boogie board to use! Janet was a good communicator.

Thanks for the review Jenny and I’m sorry you weren’t satisfied with your stay. Unfortunately, I couldn't do anything about the neighbors if you didn’t tell me about it. If you had, I would’ve called the owner and asked them to ask their guests to quiet down. I’m still in the dark about the refrigerator. Nobody before you or after you has ever said anything about it making noise and it never makes any noise while I’m there cleaning so I’m not sure exactly what you were hearing. Parking is another issue, but like you said, it’s not too far and you can always pull up in front of the studio to unload or load. The bed is a queen. All of these things are addressed in the room description; close neighbors, parking, queen size bed. It’s advertised “hotel style“. Most hotel rooms don’t have dishes because there’s nowhere to wash them. That’s why I have paper or plastic plates, bowls, cups cutlery. I’m sorry you didn’t notice these details before you booked. Better luck next time.

Great location for an affordable stay. If you are going to be out and about all day this is the place to stay. Pretty disappointing with how many cockroaches were in the studio other than that it is a wonderful place to stay.

Nice place, easy to find, great host but there was a crazy neighbor pounding on the door for us to move our car although we were just leaving and putting some things in the car, he could've been nicer about it and he even opened our car door without permission. And it would NOT have happened if you had followed the rules and not parked in someone’s reserved spot. I specifically pointed out that reserved spots were for residents and you parked in one in spite of it. That has never happened to anyone else in seven years so it doesn’t really warrant being posted on the review board. So to any future potential guests; don’t worry about anything like that happening. It was an isolated incident.
