This cozy rustic cabin with modern facilities and view of Lake Superior is the perfect base camp for exploring the Porcupine Mountain State Park, swimming in Lake Superior, or riding the trails! Open concept with one queen bed. Linens are provided.

Air-conditioning and Roku TV, Wi-Fi. Bathroom with shower. Kitchen has small refrigerator, microwave, hotplate, griddle, pots/pans, dishes/utensils. There is also a large propane grill on the front porch, outside seating and a fire pit for enjoying a bonfire

The property was exactly as it was described. It is a perfect retreat for two people. They owners literally thought of everything you could possibly need and fit it beautifully into a small space. We particularly loved the two decks and the firepit backing up to a beautiful wooded area. It was a very nice retreat to come home to after exploring the area during the day. The owners were quick to answer any questions and to provide information on the area.

Waterfalls Tour

We love this little place. It was cozy and set up perfectly. Everything you need. The area is quiet. And it was really nice it is to wake up to a view of lake superior. If you're planning a visit to the Porcupine Mountains area I strongly recommend this place.

Perfect Holiday Cabin

The property was very nice! One thing I really enjoyed about this property is how isolated you are. You have a neighbor (second rental property by same owners), but the privacy is still there. My partner and I really enjoyed the property and will be going back soon!

Nice relaxing cabin

Very nice little cabin near the Porcupine Mountains. We enjoyed the fire pit and the patio with the bug net. It was a good size for us but may be small for more than 2 people. No oven or stove but there is a well-fueled grill and griddle. Has wifi if you need it. Very nice, clean cabin. Very responsive hosts.

Couples cabin

We enjoyed staying at this couple's cabin very much and hope to come back. The cabin was very clean and well equipped to cook meals since we stayed during the winter season and over the Christmas holiday. The bed was comfy, the shower was hot. The hosts had the cabin decked out for the holiday with a tree and homemade treats. They were easy to contact when we had trouble getting the Roku TV to connect (our fault) and they definitely went over and above any expectation we had for the stay. Very nice!!!

Perfect Weekend Cabin

Cute little stylish cabin with views of Lake Superior. There is a road in front, but it doesn't distract from the view. All the necessary basic utensils for cooking/bbq at home, great info provided on the area and hosts are very friendly and great with communication. Very close to the Porcupine Mountains. Had a wonderful stay. Definitely recommend.

Porcupine mtn adventure

The house was clean, very cute, located close to the Lake of the clouds and waterfalls. We enjoyed the beauty of the area, fishing, and the Ontonagon lighthouse staff. The only thing we missed out on was a campfire because of the extreme fire conditions. We highly recommend the little cabin.

Adorable cozy cabin

Loved everything about this cabin from the way it was decorated all the way to sitting on the front porch relaxing and watching the hummingbirds. My husband and I really enjoyed our stay here it was just perfect. We will definitely be back next time we come to visit the Porky's again. Peaceful cabin

We enjoyed our stay here very much. Very peaceful & quiet. We went to Lk of the Clouds, the Keewanaw Peninsula, Agate beach & relaxed on the Lk Superior shoreline. Slept like a baby here. Very clean. Summer Get Away

This is our second time staying at this property. It couldn't be more perfect for us. The decor is well thought out, the comforts (almost) of home, convenient location to the waterfalls & Porcupine Mountains and a view of Lake Superior. Brandi is soooo attentive and genuinely kind & helpful to make our stay absolutely carefree. She is incredibly prompt at returning and answering messages and giving fabulous suggestions. The cabin is soooo clean which we love. She always goes above and beyond, including mailing our dog's forgotten favorite chew toy. Bless your heart girl!! Thank you and we will return again & again.

I (Brandi) was born and raised in White Pine so I have had Lake Superior and the Porcupine Mountains in my backyard my whole life. I have 2 adult children.
Matt was born and raised in lower Michigan (Richmond) and always loved to vacation in the UP. Being the hunter and fisherman he is, he relocated here thru his job (Semco) in 2001
Fast forward a few years...we met in 2012 and the rest is history.

Why they chose this property

Rainbow Lodging was originally the End of the Rainbow Restaurant. It served ice cream and broasted chicken and was a popular place to see bears. It had been closed for several years before my Aunt Sharon bought the property in 2011. She turned it into a home for my grandparents (her parents) and a few years later when they relocated she decided to rent it out.
Now its her turn to relocate and with wanting to keep it in the family, we (Matt & I) decided to embark on this exciting yet challenging adventure together
