Gorgeous, modern, beach farmhouse is waiting for you to come and enjoy! This fully renovated home has access to a private beach just 4 houses away! Open floor plan with high ceilings makes this home a retreat. This home offers 3 bedrooms, 1 full bathroom, ceiling fans, central air conditioning and an outdoor, private shower. The home has a fenced in bluestone patio with an outdoor kitchen with built in gas grill and a wood burning fire pit. There is an outdoor table with 4 dining chairs, Adirondack chairs and umbrellas.

The kitchen comes fully stocked with a microwave, oven, dishwasher, dishes, pots and pans, baking sheets, Keurig K-cup coffee machine, toaster, cutting boards, utensils, glasses, mugs and platters. There are the basics to get you started including dish soap, toilet paper, dishwasher tablets, cleaning supplies and paper towels. There is a table and 5 chairs in the breakfast nook.

Master bedroom has a queen size bed, luxury linens, full closet, 2 dressers, ceiling fan and TV. First guestroom has a full size bed, Pottery Barn bedding, closet and ceiling fan. Second guestroom has full size bed, Pottery Barn bedding, full closet and ceiling fan. The house also comes with fresh linens on all of the beds and bath towels for your use.

Living room has TV, board games, ceiling fan, vaulted ceilings, couch, 2 overstuffed chairs and 2 Chippendale chairs. The home also has WIFI.

Basement has a full size washer and dryer for your convenience.

Beach chairs, cooler, sand toys, kayak, boogie boards, Razor scooters and beach umbrellas are all available for your use. 4 beach towels are also provided for your convenience. You can literally just pack you flip flops and bathing suits an arrive!

We provide a guide book to allow you to have the most comfortable and enjoyable stay. We have 2 driveways which is rare for a shore home.

3 minute drive to downtown Madison, Surf Club, the Madison Beach Hotel, shops and restaurants.

Stroll along the beach to fish or walk to the Madison Surf Club to enjoy a large playground, snack bar and public beach. Walk or bike into the town of Madison where you will find restaurants, coffee shops, the famous R.J. Julia bookstore, art galleries, cinema, unique shops and other essentials. Drive ten minutes to outlet stores or to the Shoreline East Train that will take you to Grand Central Station, New York. Nearby tourist attractions include Thimble Island tours, Thimble Island Brewing Co., Stony Creek Brewery, Chamard Vineyards, pick your own fruits at Bishop's Orchards, Mystic Seaport and Aquarium, Submarine Force Museum in Groton, Essex Steam Train and Riverboat Ride and Hammonasset Beach State Park. Our home is located just 2 miles from historic downtown Madison and 3.5 miles from downtown Guilford.

*** We kindly ask that you remove your shoes before entering the home and wash sand off of feet in the outdoor shower.

*** Important! Please shake off sand from bathing suits, towels and clothes before putting them in washing machine. The washing machine pump cannot handle sand and will seize if there is too much sand in the laundry.

There is also a hose in the outside shower for your convenience, and we would kindly ask you to rinse off outside before coming in.

Gina's beach house is incredibly clean, comfortable, and convenient. Having central AC was amazing (we don't even have it at home!) and the washer/dryer was super handy for keeping our beach towels clean. I loved how close it was to both a private beach AND Rt 1 - it was super fast to zip into downtown Madison for anything we needed.

Slice of Paradise on the Long Island Sound

We had a wonderful stay at this wonderful beach house just a short walk from the Long Island sound. It was perfect location for anything from a beach day to exploring Madison or even taking the train to NYC for the day. The house was immaculate and had all the essentials to make our stay more than fantastic. We will definitely be back again.

A beautiful home in a special town

I chose this well appointed, modern, clean and comfortable home for a visit to Madison over a long fall weekend. It was super easy to get connected for a few work meetings. And once they were out of the way, I got to enjoy downtown Madison and downtown Guilford as both were only a short drive. The host has anticipated and provided for anything a guest might need and made herself available should anything unexpected have come up (nothing did). I would absolutely recommend and hope to return.

Cute, comfortable and hidden gem

This was a little hidden and out of the way gem for our family vacation, very clean and comfortable and a nice quiet location. Easily sleeps 6 with 3 bedrooms, beds were comfortable, nicely decorated. Although at time we didn't get a chance to try out the backyard due to poor weather, it looked like it would be a great area to have an outdoor bbq and sit around a fire pit, nicely fenced in to have your own privacy. Bring your own coffee or tea or favourite beverage as it's not supplied. Close to the beach area. We stayed here to attend Yale Grad, so it was a 25-minute trip to downtown New Haven, easy access to I95, easy to drive in and out. And if you're not in a hurry suggest taking the scenic route to your destinations very pretty countryside drive. Madison is a cute little community in the middle between New Haven (south) and Hartford (north), with a nice selection of restaurants and other amenities to choose from. Nice getaway from the hustle and bustle of New Haven or Hartford. Highly recommended as your next VRBO experience for the area.

Compact yet so convenient

We stayed in the this home for three nights over Thanksgiving -- my partner and I, and my grown son. During the day another grown son hung out with us. The house is immaculate, beds comfortable, neighborhood quiet, lovely, short walk to private beach which was even nice to see in winter. Because it's only a one bath house (though the bath and particularly the vanity are spacious), it's not really suitable for more adult folks. Would be great for a family with small kids. Gina is a great host and we are likely to return.

Charming little house!

Small but mighty, this little home has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Immaculate and well stocked, quiet and snug. We were there in winter, so couldn't enjoy beach amenities, but the house was cozy and comfortable to return to after family visits with extended family. Kitchen has all you need, bedrooms have plenty of space and there is a convenient laundry downstairs which helps to limit the packing needed for the trip. Lovely location, steps from beach. close to Madison and Guilford. Quiet and private. Gina very available whenever we had questions. Will come back for sure!

I can’t say enough great things about this rental. From the location to the owner….it was all five star. I want to own this home. It was cozy and elegant at the same time. The home was so clean and beautifully decorated. Even the refrigerator was sparkling clean. Everything you’ll need to enjoy this home is provided. From Pottery Barn bedding in the master, to a basket of snacks and a welcome text/check in from the owner. The pluses are many…. bikes, firewood, beach chairs and a welcome binder that was very helpful. I highly recommend this rental.

It has always been a dream of mine to own a beach home close to the water and the CT shoreline. That dream is now a reality, and I hope I can share our little piece of paradise with you.

Why they chose this property

This home is truly an oasis from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The beach is a short stroll away and the backyard is fully fenced in for privacy. At night, linger outside by the wood burning fire pit and enjoy the quietness of the evening with a glass of wine while the kids make s'mores. And there is nothing like taking a shower outside (hot or cold) in the private outdoor shower.

What makes this property unique

This is a quiet, private beach association where you can relax, have fun and spend quality time with your family. The neighborhood is great for long walks and bike rides.
