This Casita has all the amenities that a guest would expect plus a whole lot more. Conveniences like plenty of paper goods, pens, scissors, placemats, warm throws, tools, and even a hummingbird feeder were available.
The mattresses were new and exceptionally comfortable.
This is a great location for golfers, hikers, swimmers and nature lovers. We enjoyed its proximity to many amenities within the STARR PASS resort area. The owner was extremely accommodating and easy to reach. The unit included many extra supplies and every day items. We would definitely consider returning.
This casita is terrific. It’s a very short stroll to the pool and the golf course restaurant. Our host was attentive and helpful. It was great for our month long stay.Would definitely book here again.
Cute snd homey casita met our needs while we visited our newest granddaughter. Pool, clubhouse, and hiking trails close by in a safe community with great views. Ellen was great to work with, very accommodating, and addresses any issues or concerns to your satisfaction.
We had a good stay at Ellen’s casita. It was comfortable and well appointed. Great value for an extended work trip during the summer. Ellen was a great host who responded promptly to any message or concern.

We Really Enjoyed Starr Pass
This is our third visit to Starr Pass and we really enjoyed this casita. It is comfortable and bright with a fully equipped kitchen. I found maps, information and reading material to be a bonus. We loved to sit on the patio and watch the hummingbirds visit the bougainvillea. Ellen really is a great landlady! We had to change our dates due to a family illness and she was very understanding. There is golf, hiking, pool and fitness centre close at hand. We cooked some of our meals and we enjoyed visiting the Marriott hotel to dine or have a drink. We would certainly like to return in the future perhaps with family or friends as there is an adjoining guest room.

Golfers vacation
Hello Ellen,
Just wanted to tell you how much we loved our time in your Casita...... well equipped, clean, comfortable and cozy. What we enjoyed also was that we were very close to the swimming pool and tennis, and also the Starr Pass golf club, (one of our favorite golf courses to play) where we ate very very well. We also liked the fact that we were well located, we played 14 rounds of golf, 12 different courses, not bad...and when we were not playing golf we would play tennis in the morning, WoW! Everyone around were so nice and friendly, what a wonderful time we had. It was awesome to see from our patio the Javalina's, Road runners, Cotton tales and so many birds, and also we loved seeing the different type of Cactus in bloom and flowers, it's just beautiful !!
As I told you we would not hesitate at all to rent again .
One again thank-you and take care.
Helen & Denis
p.s. we really appreciated that you took the time to contact us during our stay to see if everything was alright.

Almost Honeymoon
We spend our wedding anniversary at this sweet private casita, and had a wonderful weekend. The amenities were fabulous, the huge pool and nearby resort was an easy walk to breakfast. The town offers many great restaurants and cultural activities. The condo was so quiet I could have slept all day, the perfect R&R getaway.

Beautiful condo and resort! A nature-lover's dream. Excellent place to jog, hike, bike, and just enjoy walks in the cool desert evenings. Conveniently located, yet far enough away from the city noise and traffic. Would definitely recommend!

My husband and I have stayed in this charming casita two different times and have thoroughly enjoyed our stay. There is every convenience of home in the casita, with the added bonus of an outdoor pool in a beautiful mountain setting, a work-out room and two restaurants (the golf club and the Marriott Hotel) within walking distance.
Most people come to Starr Pass for the championship quality golf course, but for us it was the location right in the Tucson Mountains. We enjoyed the scenery and the the wonderful trails.

I've stayed at this Starr...
I've stayed at this Starr Pass casita now on two occasions and can't wait for another opportunity. The casita itself is comfortable and attractive with homey furnishings and all necessary amenities. It feels like a home away from home except that it is far more beautiful with the landscaping around it, which exemplifies the beauty and serenity of the Sonoran desert -- a place more lush and exotic than its name would suggest. The pool, jacuzi and fitness center nearby adds to the feeling of being on a vacation. The nights are especially lovely with the desert breezes coming in from the mountains and the sky bright with stars. You often see wildlife (deer, rabbits, roadrunners and more) and are entranced by the wildflowers and cactus gardens. I envy anyone's getaway to this place.

We stayed at Starr Pass during February and March, 2005. The casita was beautiful and well equipped and very comfortable. It is located across the street from the Olympic sized pool and fitness room. Our trip was very relaxing and we hated to leave all the natural wonders of the desert. We hope to go back again soon.
