Enjoy the view of Strait of Juan De Fuca in this southern facing home near American Camp National Park and South Beach.
This is the perfect spot for a few friends or family to gather and relax in this nice and quiet neighborhood.

This newly remodeled and freshly furnished, two-story home boasts a large gourmet kitchen. It provides all the amenities necessary to prepare delicious meals, or to gather on the deck and enjoy a meal cooked over the gas BBQ.

The living space, primary bedroom, kitchen and dining area are all on the top floor with great views of the water.
The open primary bedroom has a comfy new King bed, Futon couch, private deck, spacious closet and an en-suite bathroom which is prefect for two.
The downstairs opens up to the Media room where you'll find a large sectional couch, a leather sofa-bed, and the flat-screen TV. Off the media room you will find two bedrooms: one is equipped with a set of Bunk Beds (an extra is mattress is provided as well), and the other has a Full sized bed. At the end of the hall is the 3/4 bathroom.

Walk to local beaches or American Camp National Park from this perfectly located island home. A 5-minute drive from this property will take you to a local favorite spot, South Beach, where you will find County approved fire -pits for summer s'mores and barbequing.
-This home does not have Air Conditioning. The breeze off the nearby ocean is more than adequate to cool the home on a warm day. This house has electric heat.
-Not suitable to loud gatherings as this is a quiet neighborhood.
-This house requires use of stairs to get to the main living area.
-Cell Service is spotty at this property, however, the Wi-Fi provided is strong enough to make calls on your personal cell.

Our family of 6 had a wonderful stay at this house. It was well-appointed and the location was perfect. One thing to note is there are no blinds in the primary bedroom, so when the sun comes up (at 5:30am during the summer) it is bright in there!

Great family getaway for the holidays!

Spent the 4th of July long weekend/week at this beautiful property. Check-in was easy. Very clean home with well-stocked, huge kitchen. Comfortable beds and futons for our large family. We enjoyed the puzzles, ping-pong table and large yard with a view of the Juan de Fuca strait and Olympic range. Short drive (longer walk if taking children) to Eagle Cove beach. Close to historical sites. The grill was well maintained. Wifi can be spotty for streaming depending on where you are in the house but this seems to be common on San Juan island. Would stay here again anytime.

Reviewer Comments: Our group of 4 had a blast. The home was located v. close to Friday Harbor, easy walking distance to the beach and great hiking trails along the beach. Kitchen was amazing and extra supplies of TP, paper towels, soaps, etc. were appreciated. Highly recommend. My only suggestions would be a second TV for upstairs and maybe a larger bed for the master. Everything was superb and comfortable. We'd not hesitate to stay again. Thank you for allowing us to use your beautiful home.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We came to the island for my niece’s wedding and chose this house because it is so close to the hub of the wedding festivities. And that aspect worked out well. The house was clean, light-filled and spacious. All good so far. Now for the not-so-good details: I slept in the downstairs bedroom with a double bed. I woke up every morning drenched in sweat despite the window open to the cool sea breezes. The problem was the cheap Amazon Basics 100% polyester sateen sheets and the waterproof mattress pad and pillow protectors. I felt like I was sleeping an a Saran Wrap sleeping bag - yuck. Also, this bedroom had no shelves, hooks or drawers, so there was no place to unpack and put away my things for easy access. I had to leave my suitcase on the floor of the closet and dig though to find things. This would be easy to remedy - put a chest of drawers in the huge closet, install some hooks.....Finally, sound really travels in this house with the open stairway, so if you have kids sleeping downstairs you must be very quiet upstairs after they have gone to bed.

Somewhat Disappointed

Very roomy home and for the most part nicely remodeled. The water view was very filtered. For as large as a home this is there is only one TV which would be alright but it is downstairs. Also the master bathroom is very nice but water for the shower was warm but not hot and didn't drain well.

Beautiful home on San Juan Island!

My friends and I came to San Juan Island for a wedding and this place was big enough for all 6 of us to spread out and have privacy if needed. We didn’t cook in the kitchen but the kitchen was nice and spacious and seemed to be well stocked and the beds were super comfy! The views of the ocean were beautiful and the place is just a short drive to the harbor area. My only feedback is there was no iron/ironing board and we had all traveled from out of state for the wedding, so we had to go to the wedding with wrinkly clothing. Otherwise great trip and would highly recommend a stay here!

Quiet location with lots of space to spread out.

Quiet neighborhood. Loved the island! I could eat breakfast on the deck every morning! Great living space. Clean. They weren't joking when they said checkout right at 10! The cleaning lady was there at 9:55AM but was friendly. Loved the island. Loved the vibe. Very peaceful location.
