Built in 1920, this comfortable home features tall ceilings and original hardwood floors . It has been completely remodeled and has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen with everything you need to make a home cooked meal, a laundry room, a patio with a grill, TWO living rooms with cable TV, WiFi, and a sleeper sofa. The bedrooms are fully furnished- two with a queen bed and the other a king.
This wonderful property is super charming and comfortable and has everything you need to feel at home away from home!
VRBO doesn't collect Local Hotel Occupancy Tax that we have to pay. Upon booking I will request payment for Canyon's 7% Hotel occupancy tax.

5 days, located near downtown Square. Farmers Market on Saturday was great. Pleasant neighborhood. Great place to establish a regional base camp while exploring the community, Palo Duro State Park and surrounding attractions.

Spring Break Hiking Trip

The house is very clean and charming, and had all the comforts of home. It’s close to the area attractions and downtown, so you can walk to several restaurants on the square. We (including our dog) enjoyed our stay very much!!

Fun Fun Fun!

Great location, fully stocked and such a comfortable stay at the Buffalo Junction. We brought our pet, safe back yard for a dog - very relaxing stay. The owner super friendly and easy to reach, and we will definitely be back to hike the Canyon and stay again.

Family vacation

Canyon 4th Tradition

Perfect place to bring my two boys to see the 4th done right. The house was clean, spacious and I’m the perfect spot to walk to the square and catch the parade. Glad to have nice places like these to come back to the city I was raised in.

Quick but very enjoyable visit

We very much enjoyed our one night stay at Katye's house. She's a wonderful thoughtful hostess! The house was very comfortable and the location of the house is perfect to the historic square. We highly recommend breakfast at the Ranch House Cafe, especially Mama T's biscuits and gravy! If we're in the area again, we'll definitely stay at Katye's house.

The pictures of this home don't do it justice, it's charming, clean and well-kept and had all we needed for a pleasurable stay while touring Palo Duro. Katye was extremely welcoming with great knowledge of the area and recommendations of things to do and places to see and places to eat. I highly recommend this rental and thank you Katye for your warm hospitality :)

Perfect location and set up

The house was as described online. Fit out party of 5 perfectly. There are two separate living areas , so that makes it nice. If you go with a small dog, bring something to block the back yard gate.

Pleasant Home!

We really enjoyed our stay at Katye's home. The cute home is decorated in a way that makes you feel totally comfortable. It is larger inside than you would think. There are two very comfortable living room/den areas to watch TV (one room gets to watch boxing or sports, the other Halmark :) Katye provded many extras to make our trip great. The neighborhood is very quiet at night so we slept very soundly. Will definately stay again.

What a wonderful find for a stay in Canyon. The house was the best equipped of any HomeAway rental I’ve stayed in. Katye stocks the place as if welcoming her own family. Wonderful linens atop comfortable beds. Icing on the cake is Katye, the owner. A kinder, funnier host could not be found. Thank you for all your care while we stayed at your adorable house. Great Guest House in heart of Canyon

Buffalo Junction has to be my favorite VRBO to date! The layout of the home allowed privacy for each member of the family. The sitting room and master suite was cozy. The host kept original components of home, complimented with antiques, but added modern touches. Walking distance to beautiful town square with shops, restaurants (shout out to Joe's Tacos), and LaBella's pizza nearby was best pizza, according to young adults. Both Palo Duro Canyon and Amarillo were a short drive away. The host thought of everything, but a supermarket and Walmart were nearby. If you are in Canyon, this is a must see!

Just right

This property was just right for our needs. For those times you need just a little more than a hotel room, this one fits the bill. The bedrooms are spacious and the bedding felt great. The bathrooms are recently renovated and clean! The television was great for an afternoon game with enough seating for a few to watch and a second living area where a nap could take place at the same time. Washer and dryer available and a great location for our home base as we had a 2 day event on the square over the weekend. If we ever needed a 3 bedroom rental in Canyon again, I would check dates on this one first!

It is ideally located in the heart of Canyon and is just an inviting, relaxing and comfortable place to stay. The previous owner, Renee, did an amazing job updating it while keeping the character and charm of this 100+ year old home.

It would be tough to find a better located rental in this area. Well appointed house with lots of space and charm. So close to everything. Palo Duro Canyon. WT. Buffalo Stadium. Historic Canyon Square.
